"Had the most wonderful birthday meal here on Mon, 5 June. It had been recommended to us by a local lady who runs a boutique in town. It is probably the best fillet steak I have ever eaten. Both my husband and myself had the fillets. His with a sauce and mine solo. Alex, the owner, took our order and both steaks were cooked as requested. The crusty, warm bread starter along with dips was terrific. The salad to share was very large with beautifully fresh ingredients and a superb dressing.. The main came with half a jacket potato, also delicious. My bottle of white wine was excellent. My husband had glasses of red wine, which was also very good. They gave me a wine carrier to take the remainder of what was left home. Alex came to check all was ok and I told him i was the best birthday meal I could have wished for. On hearing it was my birthday, he returned with 2 glasses of cava and a local dessert (a type of local pannacotta) with a candle in. It was delicious and a lovely gesture, much appreciated. A fantastic end to a lovely evening. If you are visiting Roses, you should try this excellent Argentinian restaurant. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. Pedimos el chuletón a la piedra. La carne muy buena y la piedra vino al lado para hacerlo a tu gusto. Precio acorde con la calidad de la carne. Una gran alternativa en zona costera si te cansas del pescado. Ambiente familiar y cercano.

Fuimos a las golondrinas para cenar y nos encantó. A destacar su chuleta simental de 45-50 dias de maduración. Además sus entrantes buenísimos, sin duda el carpaccio de bife las empanadas de queso y la provoleta son imprescindibles. No podéis iros sin probar el flan, llamar para reservarlo porque ir y no probarlo es delito! Volveremos!
