"GREAT FOOD, GREAT STAFF GREAT VIEW! We were made welcome from the moment we called to book a table. The restaurant is modern, bright, fresh and clean. The menu has an excellent variety of options which include Pizza, pasta, fish, salads, steaks, chicken, a specials board, and children's meals all reasonably priced. We chose the fish and chips, Alfonso pasta and BBQ chicken. All the meals were very tasty, presented nicely, were very fresh and the chips were particularly nice. After our meal our eyes naturally wandered to the desert menu. Usually at this point, the independent restaurants let themselves down by offering an appealing variety of deserts but which too often taste bland and are served frozen in the middle. I must be honest that when i saw the limited three options available here and a picture of a sad looking chocolate cake with a lonely blob of ice cream on the menu, i was not expecting any surprises. I was so wrong! We chose the cheese cake of the day which was Chocolate indulgence and oh boy was it delicious (see pic). It was nicely presented and not frozen and so this finished our meal off beautifully. In all we had a relaxed and pleasant meal made all the better by the nice, friendly and fun staff who went out of their way to make us and the other diners comfortable and feel like valued customers. One more thing I mustn't forget to mention is the superior view of the whole of Filey bay and the coast towards Flamborough Head. I can very highly recommend this lovely and perfectly located place to have your meal."
