we had a nice anniversary break here. the room was beautiful, so cozy and romantic! and eating in the pub was delicious! the personal was so friendly and welcoming. worth a visit!

This place is great. Make sure you make reservations early or you won't get a table until 9PM. We got lucky and there was a table at 8. I had the 8 oz fillet and it was amazing. The service is stellar and the people are professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed on Saturday night, we were very impressed from the minute we walked in the door, very friendly greeting, lovely decor throughout, we were shown straight to our fabulous room. We had a delicious evening meal, great to have a slightly more unusual choices, very helpful very well trained staff. Would definitely visit again.

During my first visit, I was impressed by the restaurant's beautiful atmosphere. The welcoming drinks, delicious food, and attentive service made it a memorable experience, and I will definitely return. We started with a variety of small plates, followed by fish and chips and gammon. For dessert, we shared a lovely rhubarb and elderberry Eton mess along with coffee. It was a delightful meal, and I'm grateful to have discovered such a wonderful place!

Stayed in the Yew Tree Apartment. Very nicely furnished, very comfortable and spacious. Warm and well stocked with amenities. My only comments would be that it seemed difficult to keep the place cool other than by opening the windows (in January) and that one of the WiFi systems didn’t seem to work. Would possibly have been nice to have a welcome pack of food but there was tea/coffee so that is really nitpicking. We ate in the pub across the road and they were very welcoming. Food was hearty (I would have liked to have seen some game on the menu).

I had a wonderful experience during my stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They guided us to our room and provided a thorough overview of the facilities. The room was spotlessly clean, and the decor was stunning and well-crafted. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The bar was well-stocked, boasting a great selection of real ales. We dined in the bar, and the food was enjoyable; the breakfast was equally impressive. My only suggestion, if it can be seen as criticism, is that with such a clearly talented chef, I would have loved to see a few more options on the menu. piept! from the minute we came to our departure, we were blown away from the hospitality of all the staff. friendly, smiling and went beyond and beyond to make our stay perfect. and it was! the cleanliness of the room and the environment was absolutely impeccable, not a spot of dust or spinnwebe in itself! our room was small, but there was nothing lacking, so much thought has gone into the finer details. we had tapas in our first night and it was delicious. we have been quite often gone, but I don't sleep well in a strange bed, but the bed was so comfortable I slept all night, luck! can't recommend this facility and if they could give more than 5*, I would give more! only what I would ask th...
