"We went on a Monday evening and initially thought starters and drinks, but decided to go for mains. My partner ordered the Magic Momos and I ordered Nepal Kalio along with Garlic Naan Pilau Rice. She loved the Momos and the Garlic Naan and I liked the Nepal Kalio, however, I would have liked it hotter. The only downside was the Pilau Rice. I heard the microwave and the rice was dry so it wasn't freshly cooked. Service was excellent and we will definitely go back. Very Good means room for improvement, but it was just the rice which let it down. Hopefully my next review will be Excellent!"

"Went for a drink with a colleague. Lovely pub and restaurant in High Street Sutton. Has outside seating. Staff accommodating. Nice and vibrant interiors. Very good cocktail deals. Bar area is huge with loads of drinks, beers, alcohols to choose from. I recommend this place if you want celebrate special gatherings with families, friends and colleagues. No parking onsite but parking available near the area. Walking distance from Sutton, London train station. Public transport nearby as well. Affordable and will be back soon."

"We had previously eaten here many years ago and didn’t think it was as good as our usual favourite Indian restaurant so have never returned. We tried again recently and had a really nice meal. It was a Saturday night and not that busy in the restaurant, we hadn’t booked in advance. It was very busy with online delivery orders though. The menu is large and really reasonably priced, with all the dishes you would expect being included. Our order was taken as soon as we were ready and our food arrived at a good pace. All food was served on super hot plates and dishes, which suited us as no heaters provided and our food stayed hot throughout the meal. The food was definitely a notch up from our last meal there, good portion sizes and well flavoured. Glad we gave Asia Tandoori another try, we will return again soon."

"this restaurant has been open for about 3 years and serves Turkish cuisine. my friend and I wanted to try it out already one thing and decided to eat here after a long day in the library. the restaurant offers outdoor seating, which are beautiful in the summer and although it serves halal food, there is a bar that offers alcoholic drinks. the interior and decor feels very empty and incomplete as it is only a large room with wooden and chairs. we had the squid for the starter and a kebab cellar for the net with a little salat and fries for the sides. the only thing I enjoyed was the shish kebab different from that, the other species of kebab lacked in taste. if they live in sutton, then I would definitely recommend this place, but if they continue to live, it is not worth the trip."

"my wife and I visited the first time a few years ago two years ago. before we had very good food and service. Unfortunately, as a restaurant, the pan has gone down. the door was out of order, so we had to. to enter over a sloppy back door. that should let the alarm bells ring. there were already a few on a table, but none of the others were taken. we were shown to a table and saw that next to us was not erased since the previous diners had gone. it was immediately obvious that the staff was overwhelmed by picking and delivery orders. When we looked around, we saw that the restaurant was ashamed and there were spinnwebs everywhere. it looked like they had been there for a long time. it needed a really good clean, but it looked like the restaurant was not a priority. we ordered a drink, appetizers and main courses and then waited, and waited, and waited. we talked to the other couple who was in at least 10 minutes before us. they also waited for her to eat. we got our drinks, but no eating appeared in about 25 minutes, for us or the other couple. however, the employees were flooded by telephone instructions, the tickets were dressed in full. we have decided enough to pay and leave for our drinks. the table next to us was not yet cleared. we remember to visit the employees of earlier and we felt very sorry because they are really nice people. Unfortunately, as with many other restaurants nowadays, the requirements for take-aways and deliveries are so great and the siam orchid has its day as restaurant."

"Excellent Italian. Kids took me for lunch we had starters, mains and youngest had ice cream bottle of wine and sparkling water. Fearing the dad pays bill syndrome I settled back and you know what the food was delicious service excellent and thoroughly enjoyable the occasion was. Now to the bill I searched my wallet and found £200 to settle up and was amazed at a £130 bill for 5 adults and 2 children. Fantastic. Will I go again you bet....I will. Thank you Vinoteca. From a relieved wallet."

"The greyhound has a lovely setting by the ponds, great you can park the car. But the food was very average. Particularly disappointing was the kids meals. The kids roast was ok, but the kids ‘fish and chips’ consisted of fish fingers rather than fish as you’d expect in ‘fish and chips’ and was such a tiny portion, 3 tiny fingers of fish. Not a vegetable in sight, no peas, no nothing, and it was £10! My 10 year old was disappointed, this was suited to perhaps a 5 year olds meal. If serving fish fingers, call it fish fingers. And serve something with it aside from just chips, too tight to add in some peas or beans it seems. Adult roasts again were average and ok, wouldn’t rush back, and so expensive. I had the pie, served in a bowl, with gravy at the bottom, chips swimming in the gravy and a pie sitting on top, impossible to cut and eat. Who serves a pie in a bowl and who wants chips under a pie swimming in gravy. Just weird. Sticky toffee for desert was a good portion and tasty but the lemon meringue tart, although delicious, was such a tiny tiny slice! More a slither. The bill for 5 of us was £163, that’s with 1 Guinness and 3 soft drinks, plus food of 5 mains (2 of which were kids meals! and 5 deserts plus 2 starters. 3 adults and 2 kids. Standard of food does not live up to the price tag. Service was good though! But I’d advise checking out other local establishments first, both for price and quality. It was also 4 degrees outside and they had the air con on rather than any heating. They did turn it off when asked but it remained cold in there."

"The restaurant offers a fantastic atmosphere paired with excellent service. Price per person is between £30 and £40. I would rate the food a solid 5, the service also gets a 5, and the atmosphere is equally deserving of a 5. I highly recommend trying the English Breakfast!"

"the restaurant as our usual the grange was completely booked. it was a Saturday night, and we were the only 2 people we thought was something strange? we were greeted by a very friendly and friendly young girl. we ordered a beer and a mango leti bee came on, but we were informed later that the kitchen could not knock on a mango letis. we ordered a mixed grill between us for starter the menu description indicated that it contains a nan, huhn tikka, kebab, windshield wiper and another type of huh. after 50 minutes we wait several inquiries and about 15 minutes later the owner came with a sad looking sizzling plate that only a few bits of chopped chicken tikka lamb kebab, he said "here make a start on this"! we asked where the others were dinge and he said that the nan soon get this first”! when we said about the disc and other chickens, he called aggressive and loud: “You did not order the distributor.” we told him that it was on the menu description and he denied it! So we asked him to read the menu before us, and when he saw that we were right, he began to murmur something about someone else who wrote and stormed the menu! the unfortunate waitress who stood close, apologised to behave. she was full of embarrassment. we told her that it wasn't her fault, but we really couldn't stay after it and she said that she understood completely and didn't expect us to pay for the drinks and 2 parpages we had. my man and I were really on a beautiful evening and good eating and instead the owner ruined it with his inability, bad attitude and greed he was clearly prioritizing phone orders over the 2 of us in the restaurant. it's a shame that if the place was renovated, it's not! I think his daughter, who runs the kitchen with him, but not this evening, would most likely be appalled by his shameful behavior. we will not return."

"Taste of Ceylon has been a wonderful find for us. All our regular takeaways had already closed for the night so we took a chance on this place one Friday and we're so happy we did. The Kili biryani is different to anything we've tried before, it's beautifully presented wrapped in banana leaf and the crispy mutton bites are delicious. Separately we bought the Friday Thali, which was a feast and seemed to comprise of lucky bag mix of, I'm guessing, whatever they had lots of to spare. The only did side was that this part of the order arrived completely cold and it difficult to work out what was intentionally cold and what needed heating up normally we'd deduct a star for this service but we enjoyed the novel experience so much (a change from the bog standard Indian dishes we usually have to choose from) we didn't mind too much. The paratha and the samosas are also tasty and moreish. We'd recommend to anyone who fancies trying something a little different. And as an extra sweetener, the prices are very inexpensive, although so much so we're concerned these are not sustainable and would rather the restaurant charge a bit more if they can so the business remains financially viable."

"I will not be ordering from here again!!!! The butter chicken was leaking everywhere and was the worst butter chicken I’ve ever had! Flavour was as if they used a pre made seasoning packet for 0.01p!!! It was so bad I could even eat the food with out gagging!!! The rice was “meh” but how difficult can it be. I can also say the rice had some crunchy parts. The naan was plain you might as well have dipped bread; the only flavour I got from the naan was the burn charcoal! I DONT RECOMMEND! Go here as your last resort!!!!"

"Despite its outdated decor, the restaurant's great food shines through. A friend introduced me to this place and I loved the flavorful and unforgettable dishes. I returned with other friends who also enjoyed the food. The only challenge is that if you're not familiar with Chinese or Malaysian cuisine, you might have trouble navigating the extensive menu. However, the quality of the food makes it a good value and stands out from typical cheap Chinese takeout places. It's a shame that only takeout is available currently, as meals taste best when they're fresh out of the kitchen. Hopefully, we can dine in again soon."

"Today, my friend and I each had a burger at a restaurant. My friend requested cheesy chips instead of the regular ones that come with the burger, and we also ordered an additional burger to go, also with cheesy chips. The owner charged us an extra £6.00 for two portions of cheese, insisting that this was fair. We may not see eye to eye on that, but in the end, the bill came to £43.65 for three burgers and three teas. Overall, we enjoyed the American-style dining experience at the restaurant in Cheam Village."

"Sutton is very far from a culinary destination. With the high street lined with mediocre middle sized chain restaurants such as Zizzi, Strada and Pizza Express, Brasserie Zacherin brings a touch of decorum just outside the station. It's a winner especially due to it's steak for a tenner, with chips and wine. While sirloin probably not my most favourite of cuts at this price you can't argue. There a la carte isn't really that adventurous, in particular their choice of starters, and onion soup gratin for way too pricey, see Brasserie Zedel for simple starters at proper value. The bream with the courgettes was great the bite of the courgette contrasting the delicate bream, perfectly...read more"

"The waiters brought only one starter out and forgot' about the halloumi even though we flagged it on separate occasions. No apology from the waiter. The food arrived and the food was cold (for everyone and not just myself). Cold peri mash, cold overcooked...chicken fillet', chips that were still frozen etc list goes on. The bill came out and they didnt apologise or offer a discount proactively (even though they saw none of us had eaten any of the food). We flagged it to the waitress instead and she applied discount (for a meal that was inedible but it was better than nothing). Do not go there. Very pricey for bad food and service."

"First things first, this is an expensive pub. It’s part of Young’s chain and as that it, looks like most other establishments of said chain. Don’t get this wrong, it’s as cosy, clean and in good condition as any other Young’s, this comes at a literal price, however. The food and beer are pricey so much, that I can even say they’re overpriced. The food portions are rather on the smallish side. Taste wise I do not see any reason to justify the expense. Out of the couple of times I have attended the place,I can remember two occasions rather distinctly. Once I had the dish from my plate spilt on me by the waiter, and a second time the meat was quite noticeably overcooked. Beer and cider prices are, like I said before, horrendous."
