"My friend and I went on a seal watching trip from Ramsgate and wanted somewhere for a lovely tea afterwards. Oh my goodness this was just the ticket. Fantastic service, really delicious food, and a great setting. We loved it. Excellent qualities (too much) and...such good value, lots of choice but I would really recommend the afternoon tea as so much to eat and so beautifully presented. We asked for the Earl Grey tea which sadly wasn't included in the afternoon tea free fill ups, so we were given it for free. (actually we would happily have paid a supplement for this to be included). The cup cakes we couldn't eat were put in little boxes for later consumption with no fuss, A perfect afternoon tea."
"the best café I ever was. first visit today and I loved it. friendly staff and the best breakfast of all time. even the bores cook hot not warm as other places, all served on beautiful hot plates. I usually don't like caffes, but I love this can't wait to return"

"We reserved a table for two at this restaurant. The ambience and location were beautiful. However, we found the prices to be too high. The Sunday roast menu promised a variety of meats, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and other accompaniments, but we were disappointed to receive a small portion of meat, two undercooked potatoes, and one carrot. Additionally, we ordered bread and olives as a starter, but were only served six olives. We noticed that another table of two, who had also ordered olives, received a larger portion. The restaurant also adds a service charge to the bill. On a positive note, they were able to accommodate our request for a table that could fit a pram. Overall, I am unlikely to return to this restaurant due to the high prices, lack of flavor, inconsistent service, and poor food quality."

"The evening started with a friendly, warm welcome. We were struggling to find a decent restaurant in the area and were recommended the Corner House. We had simple requirements, firstly when we book a table we expect it to be a table for the evening, there is no quality in dining in an establishment with two sittings. We never felt rushed. Secondly I like the service and the quality of foods to appear effortless, which it did. Clearly a tremendous amount of effort went into every detail from the foods, side salad, homemade sauces and deserts. Attention to detail was obvious and the service was perfect, just the correct amount of contact from the enthusiastic staff without being intrusive or overbearing. Thirdly I rate a restaurant on whether or not I could replicate the meal better, similarly or not at all. On this occasion my extra blue rib eye was one of the finest steaks I’ve ever eaten and I grew up in French fine dining. The homemade bread platter, starter, mains, deserts, coffee were all perfect. The visit was mid week and the restaurant was fairly busy. The atmosphere, ambience and surroundings enhanced a great meal. Most restaurants in the area (apart from The Marquis in Alkham Valley) are very mediocre, tedious, churning out the latest fads and boring, this wasn’t. We will definitely visit again, the staff were attentive, kind and warm."

"when a restaurant advertises that they make their own brot, smoke their own fish and metzger their own meat, I enter with great expectations. If a restaurant has a beautiful view, I tend to lower my expectations to the food quality, as it seems to be an unwritten rule that says, the better the view, the more moderate the eating is. wyatt jones breaks this really happy – there is nothing mediocre about their food, its quality radiated. first we had made a few of their beautiful home brot – I would recommend the walnut and cranberry, but not too much and pamper their appetit for the rest of the meal. my companion then ordered beef trees with senfmaic and kale, it was...read more"

"Popped in for a drink before heading off for our meal. The lady that served us was very pleasant and served with a smile. Options on tap were varied altho my friends had the ale I wanted a shandy and the lady gave me options of lager. Nice atmosphere. Hadn't been here in years since we used to visit to see Blow the Duo. TV screens were on but not obtrusive. Plenty if good seating including sone lovely looking booths. Really nice bar."

"We came here on a damp October Friday night. Were met by the very welcoming and polite owner, we were the only customers. Another table came in a bit later and were given the same friendly welcome. She chatted to us and made us feel very comfortable, as a vegan so nice to have a variety of choices on the menu. A lovely building, so much to look at inside. I chose the vegan moussaka, so tasty and made freshly. My partner had the lamb dish, which he enjoyed, it was a little fatty, as it can be, but he was then given a complimentary dessert, even though this was of no fault of the owner. Amazing food and hospitality all be one person. Highly recommend."

"We visited Chatham House Old Boys for our Annual Christmas get together on Friday. It was a great night with delicious food and a fantastic atmosphere that really put us in the Christmas spirit. The DJ played a mix of dance floor fillers and Christmas songs that had us singing along. Andrew’s great food, amazing service from Heidi, Alex and the team behind the bar, and Giorgio’s gigolo Theo all added to the experience. If you can find a spot, make sure to book a table here!"

"Amazing find. We had the most enjoyable meal over the weekend. Myself and hubby had Haddock and Chips, this was definitely the best Haddock and Chips I can ever remember having. Homemade Chips and the freshest tasting fish. Children both had children portions and they looked a decent size and they both enjoyed them. Son had Cheeseburger and daughter had scampi. Staff were so friendly and helpful too. Can't wait to go back and have fish and chips again. Might even get to try a dessert next time too."

"it seemed as though margate was still firmly attached to board and was locked for the winter when we visited a sunny day of February from london before some weeks ago. so it was a bit about finding somewhere that a bit more tasty...as bog standard fish and chips on the empty beach or greasy kebab from the takeouts, the marine parade. we tried the caffe in turner contemporary, but it has not been called. we came to the happiness about the cozy little cafe called "the greedy cow cafe" on the small market place in the old town, opposite the margate museum. the caffe is located in one of the quirky old buildings of the old city. the building is a bit old-worldly wondered. the interior decor is decided vintage, quite shameful chic, but very clean and very appealing, especially for the arty-farty quantity. we were warmly welcomed and have made our way to the small dining room above, already filled with diners. the seats are located on the tables in the trestle style; we had a great place on the window with views of the small square and the museum. the only seat in the ground floor is located outside the small square. it's the food that grabs a hit here. the lunch menu is kreatiw, innovatiw and really interesting. everything speaks of taste and freshness; everything pays attention to detail and attention. it's far from the usual farewell here. there is a good selection of dresses, including burger, and an extensive menu for children. there is also a rather exotic breakfast card. no “Full English” here; think “Banana and pistachio Toastie” or “Bacon and guacamole Bun”. there are many options for vegans. our meals were the falafel and the beetroot hummus and the pulled pork. both were delicious. the spiced criminal falcon was accompanied by rose water urissa, beetroot hummus, and a tomato bevel and gurkensalat on a bed of couscous; it was served with the liders of the sourdough. the pulled pork dish was a roasted brioche book with juicy roasted shoulder of pork, dressed with homemade BBQ sauce and a celery tail. we enjoyed our meal very much. the portions were abundant. AtWe’ve certainly put it on our radar, and will see again as soon as the possibilities allow."

"We have a holiday home at the nearby Foxhunters holiday park and visit this venue twice a week when we are staying there. Firstly it is always a welcoming and warm welcome from the owners and the staff with excellent food across the menu , The scotch egg is an excellent starter with a variable and again excellent selection for the main course and deserts. If visiting the village treat yourself to an excellent time here at the New Inn Extremely good value for money."

"I can not rate the Racing Greyhound highly enough. We held a function in the function room. The room was spotless and is a blank canvass to add your own decorations. All staff were so kind and helpful especially Debbie who does such an amazing job. We had a buffet style meal. The food was hot with a big range of choice and absolutely delicious. Drinks were all very reasonable. If you are looking for a place to hold a function this is it. We have already booked our next one. Will be returning soon to try the main menu."

"party of 4 visited and not one of the use it could fail, we all enjoyed our meal. I wanted a shashlik, but it warns on the menu, I asked the waiter and he said they could do it for me and it was fabulous to show that they cook fresh when they can't rest on the menu. the love for detail on the plate is fabulous with small blobs of different flavors. they gave us little amuse bouche that were delicious. the staff was so friendly and always had a smile. sneaks a Friday night and very busy service was good and not waiting for too long to eat. can wait to go back there."

"We had superb coffee here about 3 years ago when we were last in Broadstairs, so visited again whilst staying in the area. The decor seating is modern, the coffee is superb and the brunch/breakfast was tasty. The double espressos are good quality with a decent crema the macchiato was excellent, with the milk coffee in good proportions. The bagel with smoked salmon cream cheese was delicious and the sour dough toast with smashed advocado, soft boiled egg and bacon was tasty. The only minor things was that the coffee bar was a bit drafty and I thought it odd to have so many of the tables with reserved on them in such a small place."

"came here with work and this restaurant was recommended as the best Indian restaurant in the thanet area. big shoes to fill. I ordered the railway chicken curry. Now I know that this is a traditional Indian dish, and what I was served was nothing like. well, what I got was okay, but not so advertised and in reality I got a very average chicken cure. also the type that served us could also do with some lections in the customer relationships, as I thought he had a bit of a negative attitude. so in a clam I would recommend the place. no if this is the best thing to offer thanet, then there is a massive opening for someone who can do better and be honest, they don't have to try hard."

"My husband and I went here today expecting to have a pizza. We have shared take-away pizza from here before and really enjoyed it because it was authentic. When we arrived we were surprised to find a well presented, clean restaurant with a view of the sea and a full menu. We both had pasta dishes, followed by tiramisu and warm lemon tart. The atmosphere is great with Italian music playing. So much more than a pizzeria! A hidden little gem in the back streets of Broadstairs. Reasonable prices and so worth a visit. We will be returning."
