"Although I regularly travel to Mainfranken, the Hinterhöfle is one of my new discoveries this year. It works in its overall ambience very large-scale and well designed and even better marketed, including own home magazine! The restaurant is located in the very picturesque city centre and is currently relatively poorly accessible due to some roadblocks, especially on weekends. Who can somehow come to foot or by bike (naja, also because of the excellent wine... or park his car further away. In any case, last weekend we had a good time walking through the neighborhood until a parking space suddenly occurred. Already at the first approach I felt a surprising Wowww feeling. The headstone pavement of the street continues nonstop to the terrace right into the local. Actually, you don't know exactly where the outside and where the inside starts. Everything is surrounded by vines and greenery, the Gastgarten is very Italian or Spanish and the restaurant itself could come from the good old Roman period. All very original, but greatly styled. And in between a few brick walls and a plundering well and a lot of eye-catchers. This is where the interior architect has done a whole thing. During my visit to the last WE, the restaurant was magnificent in the evening. A second table was released only by chance. We had to navigate very hard through the narrow rows – and to say it immediately: for old people, walking or visually impaired, this location is more a torment. High noise level, very unsafe terrain, too many stimuli. If you don't care, you can easily stumble on the slippery headstone paver. The adrette operation in the jewellery dirndl was also somewhat disorientated, but it wore with humor and corresponding standing. Even though she was on foot at the beginning, she smiling towards the end and persistently gassing the final espresso. Anyway, we had enough time to enjoy the unique ambience. Here you cross regional-seasonal cuisine with a large city flair and (unfortunately not too large portions). My antipasti plate, which was specially known as GROSS and found among the main dishes, was rather something for the hollow tooth. For this beautifully through and relatively oily and varied (Aubergine, various paprika, onions, zucchini, olives . Although I had ordered the food WARM, it was just lukewarm. A little more heat would have spit out the flavors. The whole was served beautifully in an oval rustic bowl, with white bread and a special salt I did not use, however, because the vegetables were well seasoned. But I would have expected more mass for 12.95. More convinced this already the red lace (9.50 oz., which had been cooked in Burgundy, which gave the cohesed onions and apple slices a wonderful color. The sausages were buttery and very tasty. I like to take this variant again. I was full and gone from the heirs in Wasabi, who stood on every table as an amuse gueule in large one-piece glasses. Magnificent and spicy and appetizing and unfortunately also addictive. It's nice that most wines are also served in 0.1 liter bins. You can try more. My Pinot from the region (2,50 was wonderfully splashy and fresh and slightly pearling. But no one could tell me why the small amount was served in an impressive giant glass where the contents of a whole bottle had been matched. Not even the boss there who made the round at the end. Apparently the wine glasses are chosen as desired? You have to look for the way to the toilet, he's a little worn out. There are plenty of toilet articles for use and when going out to the restaurant you can also get a few snacks or wines on the course. All in all, I was very excited about the location when the noise level just shredded me a little and my portion did not really fill me. For this, the Wasabi heirs on the table are free. Around the basement floor you can cuckoo football in a great environment (which hardly knows one of the guests... The audience is colorfully mixed, many tourists, many groups of friends, but also couples and families. Singles, however, none."

"Friday, 20.04.2018, almost 30° in the shade. We are on tour with a test vehicle to test the suitability. What is closer to the journey from Coburg to the wine french and enjoy the day, land and people (or rather their culinary products). In Volkach there is free parking near the city center, on the way there we look forward to the free place of the Bread House Kohler. Outside, in the first row, another shaded table is free, we sit down. Self-service as we take the shield on the table. The map is colorful, from bakery to small dishes to snacks. Prices are very self-confident for francs, but not expensive yet. Unfortunately, hunger is so moderate. My companion decides for a bump from the map, I prefer the counter that offer soups this week. 1 x Gerupfter, after the map! Franconian made Camembert, onion rings, we serve 3 discs Volkacher Laib . The price for this: 6,90 € The weekly sheds are hit on the counter. What's going on? I call my wish Clear broth with tuna and carrots, with four slices of white bread. It should cost 5,90 €. Two big eyes stare at me, the words Hab ́ I nich ́! I'll point to the board, believe in an acoustic problem. No, I didn't. More. I'm called alternatives, fortunately you can tap almost any soup in me, I'm just quite pain-free in the experimental sector. Among the soups offered, it seems to me least risky and well known: Gulaschsuppe. After I have called my wish, my Thekendame goes away and takes care of the next customer, who stands right from me at the coffee counter. I'm glad to see three of them until a little nicer voice tells me I'm going outside, the alarm clock calls me when my food is ready. So I pay €5.90 for soup and note at home that it actually stands at €4.50 on the map. Seisdrum. The Coca Cola in a 0.5 liter container still costs me 3.40 €, is wonderfully cool for it. 10.40 Euro costs my lunch snack. Back at the table, the radio alarm of my accompaniment begins, so we could have saved a way. The scent looks good, also tastes very useful. No highlight, I don't like hanging too far out the window, but I think that's a colorful convenience. No matter how bad it is. Fresh onion rings, three slices of a kind of wood stove bread, the accompaniment tastes it. A whole time later, my device shakes. Gulasch soup with fresh pepper strips The goulash soup is ready. A few cubes of meat, some champignon, strong taste for soup ingredients, hard peppers. Four pieces of white bread, which tastes more painless and only serves to suck the soup. Tastefully, the whole is crowned by a cream from the spray bottle. It'll be okay. Our conclusion: For coffee we will also taste cakes, but we will not put the dishes on the table anymore."

"After a very time-consuming doctor visit, it was now time for lunch. A visit to a Kitzinger restaurant was not in mind today. Rather, we wanted to see a shopping appointment in Volkach and were looking for a guest house in the famous wine town. In front of the city gate leading to the old town we joined. Near the Wine Inn and Rose Winery we could park the car for a fee. With my walking aids, the short distance across the pavement went to the place. The places on the terrace covered with parasols were tempting, only the hard wooden beer garden chairs were nothing for my weedbone. So we were looking for a table in the guest room. We were already welcomed in the entrance area by a very friendly young service. Inside there were still some tables free and we were allowed to sit in a large round six table. The menu of drinks on the terrace in the shop window was brought immediately. While we studied the offer, the guest room filled more and more until all tables were occupied in the main room. For drinks we chose 1x yeast beer alcohol-free 0.5 ltr to 3.60 € for the spouse and for me 1x grape juice choir (white) 0.4 ltr to 3.80 € . Both drinks came fast and were best cooled. In the meantime we were able to study the rich offer and ordered all the Banales for today. 1x pork carving with potato salad at 10.60 € for my husband and 1x pork carving with bimspot at 10.60 € for my smallness. For this we ordered a small additional salad for € 3.80. While we waited for the dishes, more and more guests, a group of eight older ladies and a group of 12 people, were all not registered. They were run from the service to the second guest room. From the hotel on the opposite side of the road, another service was collected and the boss was laminated to strengthen the kitchen team. The service was apparently not used to this rush at a Tuesday at noon time, but it was not possible to get a hectic. All guests were quickly and friendly. Our dishes came after a reasonable preparation period. The added salad was rich in variety and the portion size was OK; the dressing used was very good for both of us. Our carvings together with the respective supplement were placed optically appealing on the plate and a saturating size. It was noticed that my pommes produced much more than my husband's potato salad. The dishes cost us both very well. At once it was loud in the kitchen. Shortly before 1:00 p.m., the order came to the service personnel not to accept any other food orders. Apparently, the kitchen capacity was reached or exceeded with more than 50 dishes on Tuesday noon. Too bad, because when we left the inn, a group of around 8 cyclists searched for a dining room outside. We felt very comfortable and could not complain about cleanliness errors etc. The toilet was pleasant, no annoying smell and all very well maintained. Proof of visit: Kassenbeleg Nr. 2019/2137 am 20.08.2019 13:01 Total: 32.40 €. It served you: Katharina"

"On 11.07.2022, my wife and I visited the inn Lilie in Volkach in the evening. This was only opened in April 2022 in a renovated historic building next to the city gate. A larger car park is located near the bus stop for arrival by car. In beautiful weather you sit comfortably in the courtyard under shaded umbrellas. The guest room is also very modern, with some elements of the historical building material being taken over into the interior design. The staff is very attentive, friendly and dizzying. The wishes of the guests are fulfilled immediately and this will not arise. We had reserved a table for both of us in the guest room and were led by a service staff there. The basic cover and the cards were already at the table. The menu is limited to a few dishes and is supplemented by a daily weekly menu. My wife opted for a rag steak with pommes and puffs (28,90€) and I ordered a pie cream soup (5,90€) and a rag steak with herbal butter, roast potatoes and salad (26,90€). The soup was served in a huge dish with only small soup indentation. Tastefully good, but the typical Pfifferlings taste was very discreet. The main dishes came after a reasonable preparation time, both were properly portioned and visually dressed very vividly on modern large porcelain panels. The Rumpsteaks were ideally cooked on the point medium and together with the supplements excellently lubricated. The high-level additional salad was provided with a very mild dressage and rounded off the very good overall impression. Just to complain, we both have knee-damaged that the toilets are in the basement and are therefore difficult to reach for disabled guests via the high stairs. We enjoyed it very much and recommend the inn. In advance, however, the tip must be booked if you want to return here. During our stay alone, four telephone reservations were received for the coming days. There are only positive signs of cleanliness and hygiene. Certificate of visit : Table 6 11.07.2022 18:33 19:34"
