"they leave wasabi teppanyaki with a smile on their face. the combination of excellent Japanese cuisine and some first-class teppanyaki theatrics can be grinned from ohr to ohr. teppanyaki originates from teppan, the grill where you are cooked, and yaki, that is grilled or roasted in Japanese. I chose the niku combo and took my front seat around the teppan. first was the miso suppe, a delicious broth from the Dashi fabric and miso paste with various vegetables added for good measure. in the second half of the start gambit were crispy chicken wings with a spicy Mayo dip and vegetable spring rolls. so far, so very well with the culinary arts will soon begin. her personal Teppanyaki cook takes the stage and prepares the veg, rice and her selection of fish and meat with the skill of a master. there is even an impromptu egg jangling display. Cracking thing! the niku combo contain chicken, lamb and bark cooked to their personal preference. it is all boiled and seasoned to perfection before their eyes with the accompanying teriyaki sauce give him that authentic Japanese taste. this is the food art in its finest that is suitable for any palette. a delicate and rich green tee panna cotta offered the curtain call sugar dishes. I came in the early evening with a handful of diners in situ, it was much more revitalized when I left hours later. this is clearly a very popular dining room with the good volk of stockton heath and more afield. also the high quality of customer service deserves a mention. real friendly and knowledgeable staff ensured that this had to do with a smile. the timing of my visit was not better. it was the day before the beginning of the tokyo olympiad. strange to think there would be more viewers for teppanyaki in stockton heath than any of the Olympic events. while the Japanese capital was closed for tourist due to covid, this far Eastern esserie was most definitely for shops with all necessary and soothing pandemic protection before location to calm the mind. a standing owation for the washabi teppanyaki and a real gold medal performance!"

"I ordered a birthday cake for the birthday of my nephew who was chosen by her website. all details such as the look, taste, size, the dinge we wanted to be on the cake, including the botschaft and the name, etc. were clearly expressed and the image of. what I wanted was shown to the girl who took the order. she assured me and said that I would get the birthday cake that would look like the one on the picture I have shown her and with all my special desires. when I couldn't collect it myself, my family member went to collect it and what we got was a half of the cake that was ordered and paid, the cake itself saw nothing like the cake on the picture, decorations and botschaft on the cake were completely different than what was ordered. the taste was terrible and too sweet, as if they eat pure sugar. one of the family members threw up this cake after eating. I wanted to complain and complain about this evil, abrupt and terrible girl who is a lousy and has no good manners, and also her mother. no customer should be treated like this. they don't know what a good customer service is. no respect before own customers! never admitted to their own mistakes, never apologised, never offered any refund. when I mentioned that a kind of refund would be appreciated as a good will, they both laughed at me, which was very humiliating. not only that I was cheated, but was torn down. I want to make the other scammers aware so that no one else is cheated and demolished. aware scammers awoid"

"Family meal for my son's birthday. The food was lovely and portions are very generous. When my husband's meal arrived, his meat dish was in an earthenware pot on the main plate. Chef was kind enough to take the meat pie out of the pot and replate it so my husband who has a disability could eat the meal more easily. There were a few things that were forgotten by the waiting on staff, including cutlery and plates for my son's birthday cake but I am not surprised as the young lady who was waiting on the tables was rushed off her feet. The young lad who was also working, did not do much, felt sorry for her as she was doing her best. The ladies toilet need a bit of a revamp and one of the toilet doors did not shut so I had to keep my hand on it in case someone walked in. A man who I presume was a manager apologised to me as one of the decor light fittings had fallen off the wall and nearly hit my head. It had happened before apparently so there may be a naughty ghost hanging about! It would have been nice to have been asked by staff where the meals ok etc but didn't get asked. Overall the food was really nice, more vegetarian healthy options would be great as in line with a lot of other pubs, its the same vegetarian lasagne, penne pasta, veggie burger, it gets boring having the same options. The car park needs resurfacing, not enough spaces either, couldn't see any disability car parking spaces."

"3 of us came at approx 8pm on a friday night, and the restaurant was pretty quiet. The first thing we noticed was how cold it was, the air con was turned up to max which is a bit excessive on a coolish evening. Drinks like most restaurants are fairly pricey, we thought £4.10 for a glass of wine was a bit ridiculous so all had soft drinks instead. The risotto verde was tasty enough but was a small portion for the price. The seafood linguini was basically tomato sauce on pasta with a few shrunken shell fish on top, (in the shells . Not great value for money really but tasted ok. Cant comment on the shell fish as there wasnt enough of it to comment on, all shell and no fish ; The pizza my friend ordered was slightly overcooked so a bit dry, we all wanted to eat together so she didnt ask for a new one as it would have meant her eating after us. We were brought drinks then left 20 minutes before being asked our food order, we tried to get the attention of the service staff a few times but no one noticed. Same happened when waiting to ask for the bill.. no one to ask for it. The staff seemed friendlhy enough but most definitely not Italian haha (which of course isnt a must to work there but it seems that these type of restaurants make the effort to hire italian staff in city centre branches like liverpool, manchester and london but less so in other places. We didnt particualrily enjoy our visit there, it wasnt relaxing or feel warm and inviting. Quite basic interior and tables. We probably wont go again unfortunately."
