"3 of us came at approx 8pm on a friday night, and the restaurant was pretty quiet. The first thing we noticed was how cold it was, the air con was turned up to max which is a bit excessive on a coolish evening. Drinks like most restaurants are fairly pricey, we thought £4.10 for a glass of wine was a bit ridiculous so all had soft drinks instead. The risotto verde was tasty enough but was a small portion for the price. The seafood linguini was basically tomato sauce on pasta with a few shrunken shell fish on top, (in the shells . Not great value for money really but tasted ok. Cant comment on the shell fish as there wasnt enough of it to comment on, all shell and no fish ; The pizza my friend ordered was slightly overcooked so a bit dry, we all wanted to eat together so she didnt ask for a new one as it would have meant her eating after us. We were brought drinks then left 20 minutes before being asked our food order, we tried to get the attention of the service staff a few times but no one noticed. Same happened when waiting to ask for the bill.. no one to ask for it. The staff seemed friendlhy enough but most definitely not Italian haha (which of course isnt a must to work there but it seems that these type of restaurants make the effort to hire italian staff in city centre branches like liverpool, manchester and london but less so in other places. We didnt particualrily enjoy our visit there, it wasnt relaxing or feel warm and inviting. Quite basic interior and tables. We probably wont go again unfortunately."

I was very impressed with the standard of food and level of service. The pricing was very competitive.

the starters were nice mains was dry and tasteless chefs rowing over something veryloud, as the kitchen is full of itself and the waitress was not very helpful she must have a bad day

I informed the restaurant ahead of time that I have celiac disease, and I was impressed with how well they accommodated me. When we arrived, they had an allergen book prepared for our table, and the staff were very helpful in addressing any questions or concerns I had. Visualizza piatti

really nice eating, excellent staff and service. only a big mistake comes when they are lactose intolerance. almost everything on the menu had milk in it. there was a very small choice if that is their allergy. the personal was great and we have adjusted a few items that dropped creamy sauce, garlic butter etc. they wonder why it cannot be officially done

Ask chain restaurants never impressed me. I come to Warrington with friends and we order many diffrent starters and mains.Food presentation is great but you just don't feel and flavor, my friends pizza was absolutely no teasty. I'm giving 3 stars. MY calzone was very nice but that was the most skiny calzone pizza in all my eating history, very little mushrooms and ham. I was very impressed with staff extremely friendly, with happy serving customer service.Great job guys.

This was my first visit to ASK and I was impressed with the excellent service, delicious food, and the bright atmosphere created by the large glass windows. The service was prompt and friendly, and the portion sizes were generous enough that we didn't feel the need for dessert. We took advantage of the o2 priorities discount, which gave us 20% off our food and drinks. My only small complaint is that the restaurant was quite noisy, with sound carrying easily throughout the space. Visualizza piatti

The Ask Italian branch in Warrington City center is located in an old building with wheelchair access. During my visit, it was busy and noisy due to a party, which led to some pressure to participate. The staff was friendly and accommodating, although there was a mistake with my order initially. The Margherita Buffalo pizza I ordered was tasty, with a good selection of drinks available. Overall, it is a nice place to eat with gluten-free options and free Wi-Fi, earning it a solid 3-star rating. However, the size of the restaurant and the focus on the party affected my experience slightly.

The service here is absolutely superb. One is made to feel welcome from the initial entrance and this continues throughout. The meals seem, at first sight, to be expensive, but are actually good value for money and even better value if you take advantage of the money off vouchers available on the online booking site. We were a group of six adults and got three of the main meals for £1 each on the special offer. The wines are rather expensive, but there is an excellent choice. The beer, however, is restricted to one fizzy, bottled lager. All six meals ordered were top class and the only things left at the end were the clam shells on my plate! (Linguine with clam in shells and chillies). My se...

"Bill came to £145 for two people. This is the third time we have been to Mr Lous to try their “famous” lobster deal where you get a bottle of champagne with any 2pb Lobster which is only on Fridays. Each time we have been they have had NO lobster! Food we did order was extremely overpriced, dry and unpleasant. Duck spring rolls £7 hardly had any meat in them, just stuffed with a load of Veg. Honey Chicken £18 was basically 8 chicken nuggets on a plate with NO Sauce! We had to share the sauce from another main. Prawn toast £14 was awful! It is basically one piece of toast stuffed with more than the usual amount of Prawns. It was dry and taste was overwhelming with the amount of prawns stuffed in there. King Dum Po Chicken £24 calamari £4 £28 total for a main without any rice or chips! You could tell they reduced the portion size just to add the Calamari. Portion was mainly veg with little meat. AGAIN! Tried to order drinks with the porter who brings food to the table which he said he’ll get a staff member to come over. 15 minutes later no one came. I had my meal with no drink. We was in the booth right next to the bar so I had to go up and order it myself. Cocktail took another 10 minutes to come. Drinks were overpriced due to the lack of complimentary champagne with the lobster which we called and was assured they would have on! . Service was extremely slow, waited 20 minutes to get a waiters attention to pay the bill. You could spot way off who the owner was as she was stomping around the restaurant piercing looks at the staff. The concept of this restaurant is amazing, But the delivery on service, food, affordability and customer service have been compromised by its former reputation which once held this establishment in such a high pedestal. Now, it seems it’s got more expensive without any improvement on its service. It is the kind of restaurant you try once just for experience, but retention of customers is defiantly an issue this restaurant faces. Restaurant itself was designed with a gorgeous interior with good lighting. But, I wouldn’t be deceived."
