"I went to this restaurant for a work dinner. The atmosphere was nice and the service was friendly. I tried the veggie stuffed aubergine dish, which was okay but could have used more flavor and larger portion sizes for the price. There were limited vegetarian main course options, but more vegetarian dishes were available on the shared platter for starters, which I plan to try next time. We all enjoyed the baklava for dessert. Overall, worth a try!"

"The Roebuck Inn, along Warwick town centre 's Smith Street, complements Warwick 's quintessential English persona. Over time the space inside the pub has been opened and extended to provide good restaurant capacity while preserving the local feel of the lounge/bar area. A musician was setting up on Saturday night for some live music. The Inn offered refreshingly imaginative options by way of specials when I was there. As with any quintessentially English town, parking is what it is and Warwick is probably not reputed for ample parking, but that 's all part of the joy of England."

"I visited most recently on 11/23, which happened to be pie night. My drink (a decent pint of bitter) was included in the price. The steak and ale pie I ordered was quite good, although it was not specified on the menu that it also contained mushrooms. Luckily, I enjoy mushrooms, but what about those who do not? The service was excellent. I returned on 11/22 and found that the menu still offered a good variety of options, including vegetarian dishes, with generous portions and friendly, helpful staff. It had been many years since my last visit, but I was pleased to find that the food and service were still good. I will definitely be returning."

"Had the reuben deli and the wakeup call breakfast bagels with the maple seasoned tater tots. Honestly one of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a cafe, on the pricey side but when you see the amount and quality of pastrami in the sandwich you won't wonder why. From my limited experience with delis in pennsylvania the deli bagel is very authentic, and everything tasted great and was cooked to perfection. We separately had some baked treats to go which also look amazing but haven't tried yet. Amazing."

"We held my fathers wake at The Granville Arms yesterday in the barn room. Jackie was great from my initial enquiry. The menu options were really reasonable compared to other venues and was just what we wanted- tea/coffee, sandwiches and cake. I didn’t view the venue beforehand but it didn’t disappoint. The room was beautifully laid out and staff were on hand to serve tea and coffee. The sandwiches and cakes were homemade and delicious. We were able to take a usb with photos to play on the tv screen in the room. This was great and everyone enjoyed looking at the photos and sharing memories. The venue was only 5 minutes away from Oakleywood Crematorium and has ample parking. We had the room for as long as we wanted and we didn’t feel rushed at all. I would definitely recommend this venue for a wake."

"Terrible booking system. Booked online for 2:15 Mothers Day, get called from the restaurant asking us to pre order and pay a deposit, which we did. Once this was done they tried pushing our booking back as much as possible. We didn’t want to but ended up feeling like we had to so agreed to change to 3pm. Then they tried to move our table outside despite it being early March and one of the guests being 87. And they just kept saying how busy they were. That’s not our problem, they shouldn’t have took the booking if they couldn’t cope with it. The day before we came we received a reminder text of the table being booked for 2:15 so we had to ring up again to check what time the table was now for and were told 3pm. When we arrived there were people in front of us who had not got the message about pre ordering or paying a deposit and were told they had cancelled their reservation as a result. The guy was really rude telling them how it was their fault because he left a message and no one had called them back and the family were then worried they would have nowhere to eat as everywhere else would obviously be booked at that point. This whole process was not clear through the booking system and we were not aware either until we got the call ourselves. We were then told to which table to sit on, no one came over and it took 20 minutes until we even got a drink. On the set menu it said a free glass of fizz to all the Mums, but this was never offered to us (there were three mums in our group). The starters were tight on portions considering it wasn’t cheap. The mains were fine and the desert was nice. Also, our kids were charged the half price set menu (which was the kids option) even though they only had a main and desert, and not a starter. So there was no reduction in cost for them even though they had not asked us if they wanted a starter. They then brought out the kids mains the same time as they adult starters. Service was really slow, and plates were left on the table for a long time after we finished. 10% service charge was put on the bill, which I thought was a joke as we barely had any service while we were there. I would have gave feedback on the day if anyone at any point had asked how things were, but they didn’t. Which just demonstrated the level of service we received. From the booking process to dining, we were made to feel like an inconvenience, which really soured things when it is meant to be a nice day. Overall a really bad experience and won’t be going back."

"My husband and I recently had the Sunday lunch carvery at the Tiltyard, and it was excellent. There was a choice of ham, beef or turkey (or all three), all of which were really tender, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Last week we...had our line dancing Christmas lunch there. There were of us and the service was great. Again, the carvery, prepared by AJ, was excellent, and everyone who had starters or desserts commented on how good they were, particularly the trifles, which were home made by Sue, and apparently contained an appreciative amount of sherry . Everyone said how much they’d enjoyed their lunch. It really couldn’t be faulted. Thank you to all the staff."

"We visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday to celebrate our daughter's birthday party with seven kids and two adults. The kids enjoyed making their own pizzas while we indulged in two of the most delicious burgers we've ever had. The milkshakes and smoothies were a hit as well. The service was excellent and the food was fabulous. We definitely plan on returning in the future."

"Went for lunch with a group of 8. Food was really good and the waiting staff were great. Friendly and attentive. Our only complaint was the time it took for meals to come out. It was quite busy when we arrived so expected to wait a bit but by the time we got to dessert and coffee a lot of customers had gone. We waited over half an hour for 5 desserts and coffee. Very slow and spoilt an otherwise lovely experience"

"Lovely French bistro in Leamington Spa, a great find and perfect for lunch. The food was fantastic as was the service and friendliness of of the host. I was taking my mum out for dinner as as my dad was a French teacher and lover of France this seemed like the perfect place. I had the duck croquettes to start and mum had the souffle both perfect followed by Lamb for me and Cod for mum everything cooked to perfection and served with a friendly personal touch. The place is authnticaly french while serving local produce and local drinks as well as good french wine (obvioulsy). There is a lot of art on the walls all from local artists and some for sale as well. My only critisism would be for an evening meal after a long day at work the lighting was a bit too harsh for me two big chandeliers overhead I felt took away some of the ambiance and atmoshere this place would have in abundance if they used a few lamps or wall lights more candles and dimmed the overhead lights down. I will definitly come back for a day time meal though as I need to eat some duck croquettes again soon!"
"Our first visit at lunchtime. Only a few customers. We ordered a portion of chips and two toasted sandwiches. Surroundings unkempt, upholstery filthy. After 3/4s of an hour and no food forthcoming we asked for a refund which was given. The whole place needs a revamp."

"My partner and I have been regular visitors to Swirls for the past three years when I visit him in Leamington. However we were very shocked at the service we received today. Firstly we were told the waffle machine was not working so we decided to order the banana crepe instead to which we were told there was no banana ice cream. In the end we ordered a crepe with fresh banana which had no bananas when we received it. My partner asked the young lady who made our crepe if we could have the banana added to our crepe to which she huffed at and gave us a small plate with separate chopped banana! Then we realised the crepe was completely raw, thick and inedible. In the end we just left as we felt like an inconvenience to the staff. This was a very disappointing experience as we loved visiting Swirls for their amazing desserts and fresh ice cream over the years. We will not be going back here and I would recommend Creams instead."

"We have been struggling to find takeaways in the area that offer value for money and have been bitterly disappointed with the ones we have come accross on Just Eat so we were happy to find this place. Good size portions and very tasty food which is always ready in good time. These guys are our new favourite Chinese!"

"Well, went here as it was highly recommended and I have to say I won't be going back. Did a walk in order for a Donnor meat, wedges and cheese with salad. The guy who took the order was rude, dismissive and overall just a bit of a Tommy tanker. Got my food and it had to be remade as they added chilli to it the first time despite me asking them not too due to an intolerance. When I actually opened it I was genuinely surprised at the size. For 11.50, without a drink I felt it was very poor value for money. Especially as it is a bought in Donor not a fresh shwarma style. Lamb was ok, but definitely average. Wedges were ok again nothing worth a trip out your way. I understand that there is a cost of living crisis and businesses are also feeling the pinch but this just feels like due to the location they are ripping off drunk passing trade with overpriced food."

"Would give this place 0 stars but have to give minimum of 1 so not happy.Ordered birthday meal from here and spent a lot of money on food which was very oily to the point of draining it in the kitchen sink and high in colouring which I’m afraid is just not acceptable!! Complained to restaurant directly and was given choice of ordering a replacement meal which again was way below par and now extremely disappointed and angry as it ruined two weekend family mealtimes!!Would not recommend this restaurant as I think there are a lot of better places and also think their prices are extortionate for the amount of food you get!!!Some people might say quality over quantity but in my honest opinion I think they have failed on both!!!Will not be ordering from here again!!!"

"Very impressed, four of us had a meal, all very good! Highly recommend the minced crayfish ravioli as a starter, all main courses excellent, with several interesting specials ! The staff were very friendly and helpful, and happy to explain any dish on the menu! Also a resonably priced menu with some interesting dishes. Highly recommended"

"A ruined 60th Birthday…! My friends have been frequent visitors of Emperors Chinese restaurant for years however after last Friday we will now NEVER go back! For my 60th birthday we decided to go and have a meal at Emperors They suggested they would bring out a tiny cake as part of the birthday celebration … great we thought ..! …However when the bill came they expected us to pay for the birthday cake as a desert . I questioned it and requested to speak to a supervisor, but they declined to speak with me and said I had to pay for the small birthday cake. I was also say the food is dropped on your table, haphazard with no finesse at all …they practically turfed it onto the table . If you don’t believe me about the cake, ..?please see the attached bill Best to find yourself another another Chinese restaurant, because that’s what we’re doing !!!"

"My sister and I popped in for a snack and some drinks whilst waiting for an event. We are not from Leamington Spa, but I’d definitely consider coming here just for this! It was lovely, my gin and tonic was fantastic and the onion rings we had were sublime! We sat outside, and it was a lovely atmosphere. The man who served us at the bar was also incredibly welcoming and friendly! I’d 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place for some drinks and bar food!"

"I was looking for a fast coffee and tee, baked, but try to avoid the standard places. about this place mute. a walk saw a great bar and a great place to eat dinner etc. but they would make a good coffee. young had mistaken me. no good coffee, an amazing coffee. it is clear to read the menu that specializes in coffee. explain in detail the coffees with different processor coffee make. I went for tge drip method Colombian. it was really excellent and 3 small but good tassen out. cakes look amazing, but great was all cakes, cookies, baked etc. were under glass domes, so no chance to go, stale his brot on etc. if these youngs are so good with coffee and cake, then I think their meals and cocktails will also be excellent. great work, just pretending we weren't to eat."
