"Looks lovely on the outside but not so lovely on the inside. The table we sat at was a bit dirty to start. The so-called afternoon cream tea wasn’t a pleasant experience. The tea is served in a cup with a teabag and hot water (no teapot) as you’d expect. So I had to place my soggy teabag on my saucer for the duration. The sandwiches were the nicest part, however they arrive on a wooden cake stand which looked very unhygienic with crisps and lack lustre salad placed directly onto this unhygienic-looking wooden cake stand. The cake stand was wobbly with a screw sticking out of the top, where the handle was missing. We got a half a scone per person with the clotted cream already spread thinly on the scone, they were the driest scones I’ve ever tasted (awful) the cakes were also dry, I’d say at least 3-4 days old, definitely not fresh. Overall the worst afternoon cream tea I’ve ever had, and so poorly presented. I can honestly say I never write reviews but I felt compelled to write one on this occasion."

"we held our daughter birthday party here and she had a great time with some of her closest friends. easy to organize with shop owners and on the day we have just a cake. than anything else. the children had a great time to taste and eat a glitter and an ice cream, and the staff was attentive and the celebration improved. would definitely recommend for such events or just for an ice! thank you."

"It's a great atmosphere and I really do love this pub since they have embraced the sports bar thing but management needs to put more staff on as I was there on a Saturday with 1 person behind each bar and 1 person running food, it was chaos- I commend the staff for their resilience but there needs to be more people on. That's my only criticism as food is great, drinks are great and atmosphere was fun :"

"great meal, great atmosphere! we have always liked to eat here, but the quality of food has really increased in the last few months. really interesting dishes and a pudding menu that is so much more available than the predictable array served anywhere else. also dishes were very beautifully presented. I had the red lenses curry and despite a lifetime dislike to lenses, was glad that I took the chance. the pakoras were amazing- aromatic and perfectly fried. the fish and chips with thin frits were up there with the best we had. the microgreens were a nice note and the muddy heaps were always good. the torte was delicious and homemade with a wonderful crispy shortcrust top. we were pampered for the choice with puddings. the brûlée was smooth and creamy with a perfect crispy top and it was nice to have a tasteful (white chic and passion fruit) if so many restaurants are simply simple. the Pistachio nodes were great! service was friendly and efficient and there was a cozy, cheerful atmosphere. we loved the halloween decorations. they are brilliant! the outside area also looks really good. so pleased that the place is so good and we look forward to our next visit."

"we came and sat fast and ordered drinks immediately, which almost immediately arrived so well we ordered starter and net. whitebait and a mini-toad in the hole to begin and two children roast beef, extra yorkshire to go with the pig. a torte that we asked with new kartoffels instead of chips and an adult porn that I asked for bark and pigs and said I would like to pay extra for if necessary. then it went downhill. minutes after ordering our food, and after the appetizers were deleted, a waitress came to us and said: "I'm sorry we don't have bark" we were happy with it. not because they had run out, but because of the time she needed to recognize. they apologized. we said okay and waited. we waited a few more minutes for the most important courses. we have all starved and a little frustrated. the net arrived. chips on the plate not new kartoffels! the frying of the child, now both pigs were half fat and half a carrilled pork steak. not the roasted pork on the menu. no Yorkshire pudding in itself and the veg. bland boiled carrots, boiled black gray cabbage and what I can only describe as baby food flower casse. it was mush! my children said to me. “Daddy, that’s not great,” I couldn’t even contradict them. I couldn't stop mine because it was so bad and I never let it eat! the cake was good, but the veg was cooked again and darkened and the wrong potato peel. Once finished, no one seemed to come and clear plates, acknowledge us or treat us at all. I went into the bar and asked me to talk to a manager. I explained everything, she apologized and gave me the bill. roasts were taken off, but nothing else. I didn't think that was good enough, but it was late and wanted to go home. for appetizers, drinks inedible meals. very upset to say the"

"The food was lovely however I had originally booked for a different time and changed this. They still had us down for the original time we booked for. The manager was quite rude and said he had given our table away. However they did manage to seat us as i was able to prove I changed it via open table email. Food was nice and the waitress was lovely. The manager needs a lesson in customer service from his waitress. His approach could have been different."

"my wife and I were here to eat. for beginners had my wife fiesta ensalada and I had corn rib elotes that had a beautiful garlic aioli sauce. my wife had jackfruit burrito bowl and I had bahian jackfruit curry for net. that was beautifully spiced and tasteful. to dessert had my wife chocolate truffle bar and I had oggs sticky toffee pudding. the sponge on my was beautiful and light, but it didn't seem to be much toffee sauce. the chocolate truffle bar was rich with a beautiful creamy oat fritch. my wife said that they enjoyed their food, I certainly enjoyed I especially enjoyed the fact that the vegan menu had good South American choices in tune with the main menu. We paid £63, which included a pint of ipa and two for a dick. "A few months ago, my family of four visited the PE restaurant in Birmingham where they forgot my wife's pizza, causing her to eat alone after the rest of us. We hoped this wouldn't happen again, but unfortunately it did. Last night, we decided to try our local PE in Warwick. We arrived just before 7.00pm and waited behind another couple to be seated. Despite staff passing by, no one acknowledged us for at least 5 minutes. Just as we were about to leave, the couple in front of us was seated and we were shortly after. We placed a simple order for 1 starter to share, 2 pizzas, and 2 glasses of wine. The wine arrived in dirty glasses, for which we said nothing and cleaned them ourselves. The wine was slightly off and not worth the price. Our starter was fine, but then the waiter brought out a pizza and two small plates, assuming we were sharing. When we told him we weren't, he seemed confused. He went back and forth with another waiter, who also seemed clueless. I eventually had to shout to get their attention and correct the order. However, I realized that by the time they made my pizza, my wife would be done eating, so I cancelled the order. Before leaving, I spoke with the manager about the poor service. He apologized and acknowledged the issue had already been brought to his attention. I asked him how he would feel if his evening with his wife was ruined, to which he agreed he would not pay the bill. We followed suit. Dining out is expensive these days, but we like to support local restaurants after COVID. We do not hesitate to voice our complaints when service or food quality is subpar, although we have empathy for restaurant staff. However, after a second missed order at PE, we were fed up. They used to be good, but not anymore. Proceed with caution and prepare to pay a hefty bill if you choose to dine there."

"Visited Saturday for afternoon bottomless brunch it was excellent! They were busy with a party and a wedding in their tipi’s so service was a little slow at first, but they apologised and definitely made up for it. Our waitress Anna was great, attentive and lovely all day! There were of us, all our starters were lovely, we each had the minute steak which was tasty!"

"My wife and I recently passed our 56th wedding anniversary so we had our celebratory dinner at the Habano Restaurant in Leamington. It is run by Budgie who also runs the excellent Caffe Vita in High St. Rugby. The meal was superb, we were spoilt for choice in fact and the prices are reasonable too. It was a lovely evening.Open as a coffee and tapas bar during the day, the Cuban styled establisment is a full blown restaurant at night. If sharing dishes are your thing then you are well and truly catered for. On the other hand individual meals to meet most tastes are also on the menu. Thoroughly recommended. Habano Comidas Cubanas"

"We held our wedding reception at the Saxon Mill and had a great time. The space, the food and drinks were great! Katie in particular was amazing. She was so helpful, friendly, but importantly, patient. We had a lot of changes before and during the event but Katie just kept very professional and adapted quickly to the situation. Also want to thank the kitchen staff for the amazing service, as all of our guest were happy with their meal. We will definitely come back to the Saxon Mill."

"My dining experience at the Pickled Crab Supper Club last night was fantastic. It was my birthday, so I had the privilege of choosing where to celebrate, and I was not let down! The menu was amazing, with all dishes being prepared, cooked, and served perfectly. The location at #75 Leamington was just right. It has been a while since we have had such a satisfying meal out, as we are often left disappointed. Thank you to Nigel and the whole team for making my birthday a memorable night. We are excited for our next visit!"

"I went to this restaurant for a work dinner. The atmosphere was nice and the service was friendly. I tried the veggie stuffed aubergine dish, which was okay but could have used more flavor and larger portion sizes for the price. There were limited vegetarian main course options, but more vegetarian dishes were available on the shared platter for starters, which I plan to try next time. We all enjoyed the baklava for dessert. Overall, worth a try!"

"The Roebuck Inn, along Warwick town centre 's Smith Street, complements Warwick 's quintessential English persona. Over time the space inside the pub has been opened and extended to provide good restaurant capacity while preserving the local feel of the lounge/bar area. A musician was setting up on Saturday night for some live music. The Inn offered refreshingly imaginative options by way of specials when I was there. As with any quintessentially English town, parking is what it is and Warwick is probably not reputed for ample parking, but that 's all part of the joy of England."

"I visited most recently on 11/23, which happened to be pie night. My drink (a decent pint of bitter) was included in the price. The steak and ale pie I ordered was quite good, although it was not specified on the menu that it also contained mushrooms. Luckily, I enjoy mushrooms, but what about those who do not? The service was excellent. I returned on 11/22 and found that the menu still offered a good variety of options, including vegetarian dishes, with generous portions and friendly, helpful staff. It had been many years since my last visit, but I was pleased to find that the food and service were still good. I will definitely be returning."
