"We held my fathers wake at The Granville Arms yesterday in the barn room. Jackie was great from my initial enquiry. The menu options were really reasonable compared to other venues and was just what we wanted- tea/coffee, sandwiches and cake. I didn’t view the venue beforehand but it didn’t disappoint. The room was beautifully laid out and staff were on hand to serve tea and coffee. The sandwiches and cakes were homemade and delicious. We were able to take a usb with photos to play on the tv screen in the room. This was great and everyone enjoyed looking at the photos and sharing memories. The venue was only 5 minutes away from Oakleywood Crematorium and has ample parking. We had the room for as long as we wanted and we didn’t feel rushed at all. I would definitely recommend this venue for a wake."

Had a lovely chicken burger meal at Granville Arms today. Delicious. Can recommend. Excellent value. Service was fab too Definately be back.

DOG FRIENDLY Lovely pub. Quite modern. Great food and prompt service. Dog biscuit and water for my pooch. Tiger beer on tap. Clean bathrooms. All conveniently off the M40 J15. Will be visiting again.

I visited the pub decided to try the pizza made to order in the new pizza oven.I also had the garlic bread. I was not disappointed. The best pizza I’ve had in ages. Would definitely recommend. Can’t wait to go back for another

A really lovely country pub, the food was superb and the service was very warm and welcoming. The prices seemed very reasonable, and the interior and exterior decor were really striking. I would certainly recommend it and go here again, however the separate locations on Google for the food and bar are a bit confusing! Visualizza piatti

lovely lunch here today, great service and we and our pooch were made to feel very welcome. Food service isnt speedy, but, its cooked to order and well worth the little wait. And reassuring to know they cook from scatch as i have a nut allergy so eating out can often prove to be stressful. Well already planning our next trip xx

We were driving back up north after a weekend in London and wanted to find a locally run place that did good pub food. The Granville Arms is ~5mins off the M40 and super easy to find. It was a Sunday so we had beef and a lamb Sunday roast and they were excellent. The staff were friendly and prices reasonable too. We could definitely visit again next time we're down! If you've got a long drive up north and prefer to avoid services this is a great choice. Thanks all!
