"Well where to start we were a family group of 9, 5 adults and 4 children from 2-7 years of age. We wanted to book a table for 7pm for an evening meal but was told it would have to be 6:30 as the restaurant was busy later not surprising as it was easter weekend. We came in for 6:30 but the girl who was seating people started to ask if we had booked and then the phone rang and said she had to answer it and ignored us for the next 5 minutes then she hung up and said derogatory coments about the person on the other end of the phone. Then she could not find our booking which we had paid for in advance but finaly got seated at 7 pm our order for drinks and food were taken in reasonable time but we had to wait for over 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive and over 30 minutes for our starters to arrive the mains took another 30 minutes after we had finished our starters and the children were getting restless and tired the mains finaly arrived and of the 5 adult meals only 1 was edible and 1 child meal was forgoten completly and had to be asked for again. After being in the being in the restaurant for over 2 hours we still had not recived our desserts and the childen were so tired we had to leave I complained to the person in charge who did not even have the grace to reply or apologise and we were never asked if our meals were ok. We thought breakfast could not possibly be as bad but how wrong were we. Once again we had to wait for over 30 minutes to be seated even though there were plenty of free tables just no staff to clear or reset them only 1 young lad who was running around like a headless chicken trying to do his best for just over £5 per hour he was a credit to an otherwise disgrafull restaurant . It was a buffy style breakfast help yourself but most things were never avaliable at the same time and shortage of plates bowls spoons etc. Needless to say we will never use this restaurant again its the worst I have ever been in."

"I can't comment on the eating in option this review is for the Red Fort takeaway. It.is.INCREDIBLE. The first time I ordered through Just Eat (now switched to ordering direct from Red Fort as it's cheaper) was purely by chance. They were cheap so I went with them, with low expectations due to the price. Oh my god was I WRONG!! Every single dish was full of flavour, and beautifully cooked, from the perfect onion bahji to the soft sheek kebab. But the main point to note is the lamb they use. If you're of a certain age you will remember when EVERY Indian restaurant used those lovely chunks of lamb, instead of the miserable, cheap and nasty marbled strips half of them use today. Red Fort use CHUNKS of lamb, that are so soft they almost melt in your mouth. And ZERO gruesome white tubing either. Absolutely incredible quality of food for the price. Don't be fooled by how cheap Red Fort are support a wonderful, top notch establishment that REALLY make the effort to get their food right."

"Absolutely superb food and service! Visited on Father's Day without a booking and was able to get a table. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered fishcakes to start which was delicious and came with a spicy mayo. For mains my husband had the lamb roast and I chose the double cooked pork with crackling. We were very happy with both meals, they tasted great and looked great. We were stuffed at the end of the meal. We will definitely be coming here again as our local. Thank you to the staff who made us feel welcome"

"This was the worst dining experience I have ever had! I would give it a 0/10 or even a negative rating if possible. I don't think they truly care about their customers. The prices are outrageously high for the low-quality food they serve. I ordered the chicken Biryani and the portion size was extremely small for the price. Even if the quality had been good, which it wasn't, I would have been disappointed. The chicken korma tasted more like a sweet dessert dish, it had so much sugar in it. When I heard that the Rasam rice was priced at 7 pounds, I should have known to steer clear. This kind of pricing is unheard of even in high-end hotels. My advice to the restaurant: show some respect to your customers, improve the quality of your food, and reconsider your pricing. Your food is not worth the prices you are charging. I will definitely not be returning, even if I'm starving."

"We booked a table at cafe rouge as we had tickets for the theatre nearby. We go to cafe rouge on a regular basis and this was our worst experience by far. The venue itself was nice, lots of glass windows and the usual cafe rouge decor. We ordered bread and olives to start, which were great, but we had issues with the main and pudding courses. We had both ordered steaks to be cooked medium, but when they arrived one was perfect and the other was very well done. They replaced it without a fuss however my partner had finished her meal before my replacement arrived. The replacement was good, but there was no reflection in the bill that we had come out for a meal together and ended up eating alone. We ordered pudding, creme brûlée and chocolate fondant. The chocolate fondant was nothing special, a little dry, but the creme brûlée was awful. The crunchy top had not been made by putting on sugar and then caramelising it; instead they had made caramel in a pan and poured it on. This made it very thick and hard to eat and rather unenjoyable. The service was okay, but we felt the manager was rather inappropriately dressed in a short skirt and sparkly trainers!"

"Despite storm Ciara outside, Zizi's in Woking provided an excellent and memorable birthday party for our eldest daughter. Aimen and his staff worked their magic to ensure all the children had a great time making pizzas. Aimen organized the children, got them dressed in hats and aprons, and guided them through the pizza making process. The parents were able to relax with a coffee while the children were entertained. The service was exceptional, with Aimen teaching the children how to make pizza dough and engaging them in a quiz. The children enjoyed their pizzas and cake, with Aimen ensuring everything ran smoothly. The whole experience was well-managed and the children were well taken care of. Aimen and his team were attentive to our needs and made sure everyone had a great time. Our daughter has already asked to have her party at Zizi's again next year. Thank you to Aimen and the team at Zizi's Woking for a wonderful experience."

"Having never been to Woking before this restaurant looked lovely as did the menu. When I arrived however it was not as I had imagined. It was like a 1960's diner rather than a steakhouse and although the menu had a great range of choice, when the food came up I was disappointed considering the cost. The drinks were also a poor quality. I ordered a fruity cocktail and was basically presented with tropical juice from a carton with added alcohol, which i couldn't taste due to the sweetness of the juice and the accompanying shot of prosecco was flat. The service was friendly but disjointed and we were initially offered 241 cocktails and then the offer was rescinded as it was a weekend. All in all not a great experience and not somewhere I would go back to."

"las iguanas is a great restaurant for an authentic and realistic taste of Mexican cuisine. the chicken burrito that I had was extremely good and with the wuntu las iguanas code (only available for 3 mobile customers) that makes it one of the most favorable calculations they can get. £3 a burrito pro customer, that's a lot. the service was great, kylie made everything seamless and very beautiful meal."

"Great little find in Surrey. We were visiting the area in August to collect an award, at a nearby Hotel, and decided to venture away from the venue to have lunch as a team. We were so happy that we chose here as the service and food was amazing. We love supporting small restaurants like this, over big chains. There were four of us in our party, and we enjoyed bread and olives to start, then we had pizza, lasagna, carbonara and pasta as our main dishes, with salad, chips and garlic bread to share. With drinks each as well we were pleasantly surprised with the total of the bill as well coming in at £91.00. I can highly recommend this restaurant, and being a restaurant owner myself, it was lovely to receive a great service as well as tasty, filling food as well. If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely pop back in again. Thank you"

"They say they do deliveries, well mine didn't turn up because the driver (according to the map) was sitting at the other end of our street to my house for 40 minutes trying to say he didn't have my post code, or other excuses! After which they claim it was delivered, it was not, I can prove it has not by the drives texts and the security camera! Sovereigns were notified that I had not received the food and whilst I know drivers can be unreliable at time but disgusts is with Sovereigns for unlawfully taking money out of my account for something they know I had not received, a day after the order was placed! The reviews claim the food is good, who know, but do not trust them for delivers."

"Whilst visiting the area we decided to try the local golf club. After playing what was a picturesque course with admittedly poor condition Sandy greens due to course maintenance (which had not been stated at the time of online booking. After finishing our round, we immediately hot footed it to the bar grill. Upon arriving we asked if the kitchen was still open. Unfortunately we were told that the kitchen had just closed. It was 7:55pm. There was visibly still food orders being placed with other members of staff???? Then when we asked at the bar to order our beers, we were told that it was table service only. So we went and sat outside… when no one looked like coming to serve us, we approached the bar again to ask who would be serving us only to be told that table service was only available for the inside part of the bar and we had to download an app to be served outside!? Whilst asking the bar staff this, another golfer ordered a beer at the bar??? Thought it was table service only? One rule for one… When we repositioned ourselves inside to get table service we were immediately served. Hallelujah. We then proceeded to order up there remaining sausage rolls that were on display in their deli counter. One of us ordered their rolls hot!! Lo and behold ALL the sausage rolls were served cold… on the plus side the table waitress was very nice…"

"For our main courses, we ordered cauliflower cheese, roast beef, steak and ale pie, and the fried chicken. Each time we ordered drinks, something was missing. After an hour without receiving any food, we flagged down the servers, who hadn’t noticed our delay. We requested that our starters come out at the same time as our mains since it was getting late. The food was disappointing: the whitebait was acceptable, but the pigs in blankets were raw inside. The cauliflower cheese had barely any cheese and tasted more like flour, the vegetables were undercooked, and the pie had a raw pastry with scant filling. The plating was inconsistent, though the roast beef was well-cooked and seasoned. When I spoke to the manager, he was apologetic and offered us a significant discount. He informed us that he had recently taken over the establishment and that they were experiencing difficulties during their first weekend. It took an additional 25 minutes for him to come and process our payment after we requested the check. It's really unfortunate because the location is lovely. I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime soon."

"The food is fine. The lady who works there is lovely. However when I gave some feedback the reaction from the man was so poor that I won 't be eating there any more. If he 'd given me a generic We 'll consider that response and forgotten about it the second I left, I 'd still be a customer. Arguing with me lost my business. Moaning to someone from my office that I had given feedback put the last nail in it."

"Went in to get some family treats to take away, ordered a ferro Roche Milkshake, it tasted nothing like Ferro Roche, I asked politely if they could add another one as they had only Put two in and everywhere else has always put 3 in, and I would pay extra, but I got a massive mouthful back from I assume the manager, I asked for a refund and again another mouthful. Ended a really lovely Family evening with me in tears from the way she spoke to me, with no shake no refund and “told off”. If I could rate 0 I would. Not a family friendly place and a rip off"

"We visited this charming restaurant near the train station while staying in the area overnight. Its exterior may not be impressive, but once inside, the food is exceptional. We tried a set menu with crispy aromatic duck, sweet-and-sour chicken, Hong Kong-style beef with spring onions and ginger, and special fried rice. We also added crispy prawn dumplings and chicken satay skewers. Despite the distance from our home, we are confident this will become our favorite Chinese restaurant. The prices are great, and you can bring your own drinks for a small corkage fee. We will definitely return soon."

"Please avoid. The reviews before can't be real as the food is terrible, greasy soggy squid. Over cooked chicken wings that are chewy, oil as sauce for minced chicken, spring rolls as soggy as wet paper. I spent over 60 pounds on what should have been okayThai food that promptly went in the bin. Such a shame as I thought we had found a nice Thai place in Woking. Will keep trekking to Thai Terace in Guildford"

"We were the only guests (4) in the whole restaurant on a very quiet Sunday afternoon. We had booked in advance for afternoon tea. Our dietary requirements had been acknowledged and the tea was reflective of this so this was good. There were 3 members of staff working at this time, however, every time we were running low on tea, milk, cream etc, we had to get up from our table and go to find a member of staff and ask them to replenish. They weren’t busy or very attentive. Two weeks from Christmas and the conservatory we were eating in had no festive feel to it, no background music and was cool in temperature. We noticed the adjoining dining room was laid ready for breakfast the next morning and had a lovely Christmas tree so it was a shame we couldn’t have been in there. The food itself was standard although a nod to the festive season was included with a mini mince pie."

"I came here on Wednesday afternoon and despite the fact it was well past lunchtime, the place was still packed. If I hadn't just nailed a pizza, I could easily have buried my face in one of the delightful cakes displayed at the counter, but instead, I amused myself with a coffee or two. I started with a double espresso and finished with a black coffee. What?! I hadn't had my morning coffee fix! It's no surprise that the coffee was rich and deliciously deep in flavour because at Patisserie Valerie, they serve Illy coffee, which as far as I'm concerned, is the best brand going. I was a little envious of those at the table next to me as they tucked into their chocolate muffin and...read more"

"The food is pretty good with decent sized portions and average pricing, but the service lets this place down unfortunately. We were greeted to be told that there was a 45 minute wait for food (including starters) as they only had one chef working and he is new it didn 't ultimately take that long, but a poor first impression. Bottle of wine deposited on the table, unopened and no offer to pour anyone a glass. I don 't recall anyone asking if everything was okay, although the food service and table clearance was positive. At 9.40pm two of the my friends (having finished eating at 9.30pm) decided to order desert, but we were told that the kitchen was shut! After a quick Google, it appears that you can book to eat here as late as 9.00pm, but the kitchen closes at 9.30pm. I would have expected the waiter to have advised of this, but they did not meaning no desert and this pub missing out on more revenue."

"I was in a food hall last weekend, I want to write first of all about the rude waiters, who waited 20 minutes to come to the table where I was sitting, when the waiter came to me, he had a very indifferent face, in front of which I decided to take the tray, when I came to the table on which the trays were standing, the first tray I got was dirty, after that I saw a girl who, as I understood, works there and decided to ask her why the tray was dirty, since I understood that the girl does not speak English well, but no looking at this, the girl was very polite, unlike the waiters, I wanted to get to know her better, but she did not understand English, and as I understood, she did not have time to get to know her. Coming to the food, the hot is very good but the chicken is dry, I also liked the sweet pastry, I got the shortbread which goes really well with the coffee. I think I will visit Wisley Garden again in the spring, but when I do I will come to the Food Hall again, I hope you will correct the mistakes I have posted here."
