"Where do I start? In all my years of living, of all the trips I 've taken with my ultra-wealthy friends I can only name a few memories I 've had with them but my experience at Pizza Express in Woking 10+ years ago...unforgettable, March 10th at 5 PM to be exact. It was a very unusual thing for me to do but it was so wonderful that I could never forget it. My friends ask me, Hey, remember that golf trip? Hey, remember that time... and I just can 't remember them but the one hour I spent at Pizza Express 10 years ago I 'll never forget. You can have the worst memory and won 't forget your experience at Pizza Express in Woking even 20 years later. Only complaint is that the AC isn 't the best but I never did have a sweating problem, I got shot at which led to a peculiar medical condition where I couldn 't sweat. Go to Pizza Express in Woking, you 'll never forget it."

"I put my email in December for six people including one wheelchair user I was quite pacific remind request when we arrived at the restaurant there is no accessible entrance no mobile ramp and we had to get my guest up to steps with now with no help and support from the restaurant staff when I raise this with the staff they totally ignored it and blanked me is is unfortunate as restaurant is very good food is good but the access is not acceptable in the year 2018 please ensure they have a portable ramp available for wheelchair users and people unable to use Tips . Accessible toilet was full of cleaning equipment and other rubbish so is unable to be used by my guest this is very disappointing on the whole the whole evening was good but will be even better if people I thought what was needed in making sure We all. has an enjoyable evening"

"I decided to try a new restaurant based on the positive reviews and ordered their Lamb Sikander with Tarka Dall and a Garlic Naan. To my surprise, they included a free papadom and onion salad. The lamb was tender and the okra was perfectly cooked in a delicious tomato sauce with fresh ginger. The Garlic Naan was flavorful with fresh garlic. The food arrived sooner than expected. I will definitely be making this a regular stop whenever I am in the area."

"We arrived around 7pm while only 3 tables were seated, one had already finished and the second one were eating and third one about to finish. We were seated immediately in a table in the middle of this small croud and without socially distancing table. Our order was taken in a reasonable time considering that only one waitress was working but then we waited 26 minutes for the first dish tempura) to arrive to our table. We were served by the female owner, but we noticed that they got us a vegetable tempura when we ordered prawn tempura. When we mentioned this the dish was taken from our table and she stormed out. 30 seconds later our waitress came to state that we did order indeed the vegetable tempura in a quite rude manner. We insisted that we ordered the prawn tempura and not vegetable one and she left no apologies or anything like that). Couple of minutes later they got us the prawn tempura which was really oily and while the waitress was trying to place the dish in the table in a quite abrupt manner she bumped on my shoulder and almost dropped the entire plate she apologised and left the table. Our second dish was a vegetable udon which to be honest was quite gross with a dominant flavour of god knows what, I never tryed something awful like that. My partner had less than a 1/4 of the dish but I was too hungry and it was still a bit edible so I ate mine and helped with her plate. We were about to leave due to the poor service and hideous food but it was my birthday so after thinking for a while we decided to try a bit of sushi. We were waiting to ask the menus again while our waitress was serving other tables they had a new table of 6 and another couple while the rest tables mentioned at the begging left) while this was happening the female owner was missing and the male owner was at the till playing solitaire yes we could see him from our table in a certain angle) We got the sushi plates but they removed the soya dishes and no new was brought so we ended up using a large dish that we had in the table for our napkin and chopsticks. The first sushi plate was looking horrendous with a spicy orangey sauce on top, the second one looked better but it was quite gross with those fish eggs hanging around and the warmish rice, still edible both of them but even the sushi from Tesco is way better. In this whole time no one approached our table to ask a feedback for our food. So we reached a point that we didn 't want to order dessert or anything just pay and leave. Not to mention that there was no QR code available for NHS track and tracke, neither they took any contact information from us"

"Today I visited Bep Viet in Woking with my son, a regular and absolute fan of the Beef Pho. On his recommendation, I ordered the Duck Pho with a fried breadstick we got a free green tea at owner's discretion : I wasn't disappointed. The location isn't fancy, isn't lovely, doesn't have a view. You are in a covered concourse with artificial lighting and plenty of foot fall passing through not what one would choose. But, and it a very big BUT, the food was amazing. If you are looking for a fast food treat in Woking you really can't beat Bep Viet fresh flavours, so yummy. Street food at its best. I shall be returning. Forget nearby US fast food joints Bep Viet is so much healthier."

"This cafe used to be a favorite spot for me and my son to enjoy an afternoon drink and cake. However, our visit yesterday was quite disappointing. We arrived around 4pm, with the cafe closing at 5pm. It took a while for us to be greeted and even longer for our order to be taken, despite being only a cold drink and a cake. We were seated right by the counter, yet it took 20 minutes for our order to arrive. To make matters worse, someone interrupted us to ask for payment at 5:35, while we were in the middle of a game. The service was terrible, despite the lack of customers. Additionally, one of the older staff members was overheard being rude about a younger colleague. The experience was so unpleasant that I have no desire to return, especially considering the high prices. It's a shame, as I used to enjoy this place."

"My first visit to this restaurant was quite disappointing. We were not asked if we had been there before and had to wait 25 minutes for someone to take our order, only to be informed that orders had to be placed and paid for online. We were then given a QR code hidden among other papers on the table. We ordered drinks, tapas as a group starter, and mains, but everything arrived at once, making it difficult to find space on the table. One of the mains was missing because it hadn't been captured on the website, and one of the tapas dishes from the online order never made it to our table. The tapas and burgers were good, but the mains that did arrive - the lamb curry and bang bang chicken - had an overpowering vinegar taste, and the Nasi Goreng was mostly rice. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. If you do decide to go, stick to ordering tapas and burgers and avoid going on Saturdays. The decor, however, was nice."

"A quite nice place to dine. We stopped by for a late-night one-course meal, and both the food and service were quite impressive. They were still happy to serve us just before 10 PM, even though the restaurant was emptying out at that time. I would recommend the Sea Bass, which we both enjoyed. Each of us received two generous fillets without any bones—very nice! The portion sizes were satisfactory, and the prices were reasonable, especially for a central location. We also found the drinks to be fairly priced. The service was prompt and attentive, with friendly staff providing just the right level of care."

"This restaurant is a hidden gem! The best Italian restaurant where we been in the UK so far! (Trust me we love italian food, and this restaurant food returned us to sunny Italy). I cannot recommend it enough, the food is sooo amazing, that after we ate, the rest of the menu we ordered to take away, as you really want to try everything! Thank you so much for such a good dinner, long time we were looking for such a good food, service and atmosphere. Definitely see you soon!"

"Where do I start? The rice was cold and bland has no flavour what's do ever, I asked for meat Curry no veg, it came with veg and prawns, after spending 10 mins taking out all the veg there was less then half the box left!, The curry sauce was watery, and the sweet and sour was the worst we've ever tasted! The salt and pepper ribs were dry and tasteless, we asked for 2 big bottles of coke and they send 2 small ones, the only nice thing about it was the crackers and the chicken balls, definitely won't be back, waste of £40!! Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30"

"I actually can’t start to explain my disappointment. We booked this restaurant with open table for Father’s Day and my booking was confirmed. We got to the restaurant at the correct time only to find it was closed!!! With no call or notification of this before hand! Absolutely disgusted.... not sure who to blame? Open table or the restaurant itself?"

"from the warm white inviting lights and shaded chandeliers, leather and wood decoration, high quality tasty foods and friendly staff I would recommend this place to eat. first we were 20 minutes too late for our bills booking pulling two tired children along in our party. we had special nutritional requirements and had to be served quickly to make our theatre show on time after dinner. nothing was too much for this quality restaurant team. steak was in the mouth melting, children took Doggy bags of eating that really went well in the theater, even us a totally faux smug parent moment when other parents commented in the pantomime how well we prepare for our children in the interval. ha. thanks bills."

"stovells chobham surrey it is a hidden gem of this place with its South American influenced French theme menu. home made stovells gin is the series of the day my ex-college girl has made, now excellent chef fernando, and younger has come far. he will be on Saturday's kitchen this week with chef james martin, probably talking about the Mexican and Argentine punsch he put into his eating. the settings are more homely, but this is chobham for them a real quantendorf that is fucked somewhere in deep surrey. the entrance was greeted by a warm open fire from dried of wood and a cocktail or two. low ceilings, but the beams make them feel like they could go into a very lush pub! amuse bouche was a beautiful surprise, and the wood fired baked brot was delicious. smoked butter to go with it. grilled makrele, terrine, braided brisket, cadjau, petit pois asacienne and a whisper of chard all washed with a fine Spanish white, made it a very Mediterranean afternoon with a much taste and a beautiful environment too. the restaurant was full and the chairs were really comfortable, we enjoyed it immensely. my schokopude was perfectly plated and I loved the milcheis that came with him. the cheese selection was incredibly well thought-out and well presented with its own small card! 10/10 well made chef fernando, happy to see how great her restaurant does: and thank you for her generousness"

"This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Woking! I had never been to Woking or this establishment before, and I'm so glad we chose to dine here. The food is excellent, and the staff are polite and friendly. The restaurant itself looks fantastic, creating a lovely atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Even though it was a quiet Sunday lunch, the presentation and quality of the food were exceptional and didn't disappoint at all."

"I've eaten with 3 friends in the anchor last Thursday. we were warmly welcomed, but had to wait for our courts to come. two of the party had chosen the burger, two the venison, the very attractive on the map. the venison came on cold plates quite a past after the burgers. the court looked nice, but was cold. it was taken away and replaced, on slightly warm tellers, but eating was best tepid. the two who eat the burgers said that their meals were not as hot as this. the side dish of the fritten was hot and perfectly acceptable. Those who chose the pears for pudding have chosen themselves well. it was delicious! we spoke our disappointment about the main courses and were not accused for them. that was a welcome and generous gesture. I can only accept (and hope) that there was a problem in the kitchen this day and that the anchor normally serves warm dishes that pierce hot on hot plates. we are happy to have a restaurant in the good food guide in front of our doorstep and look forward to a happier experience at our next visit."
