"Mein Vater hat mir schon einige Jahre von diesem Restaurant vorgeschwärmt.... endlich haben wir es für einen Lunch nach Zürich ins Casa Ferlin geschafft. Er wusste ja, was uns erwartet, ich nicht ganz. Mir gefiel dieses etwas altertümliche, aber sehr stilvolle Ambiente sehr gut. Das ganze Personal war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.Wir haben uns kurzum für das Menü entschieden und jeder einzelne Gang war einfach top. Dennoch haben die legendären hausgemachten Raviolis herausgestochen. Unglaublich wie dieser hauchdünne Teig und die geschmacksvolle Fleischfüllung harmoniert haben ein Gedicht! Es wurde uns auch sehr feiner und passender Wein dazu empfohlen. Wenn man allenfalls etwas bemängeln möchte, ist es die Grösse des Desserts. Dieses war zwar super fein, aber etwas grosszügig bemessen. Aber man findet bekanntlich immer ein Haar in der Suppe, wenn man danach sucht.Ich hoffe, irgendwann mal wieder dieses tolle Lokal besuchen zu können."

"Ein wunderschöner Sommerabend. Spontan entschieden, ein Steak zu essen. Freitagabend und wir waren froh, einen freien Tisch zu kriegen. Aber es waren 70 Plätze da; 15 besetzt. Der Garten mit 30 Plätzen leer. Da bekam niemand einen Platz. Wir wurden eng neben der Küche platziert. Begründung, es hätte ja noch regnen können! Der Garten blieb den ganzen Abend ohne Regen leer. Wir schwitzten im innern. Bedienung: Zwei Amateurinnen. Vergessen zu fragen nach der Garart des Fleisches und sonst sehr unbeholfen. Aber der Hammer war: Das Fleisch für N e u n z i g Schweizer Franken war sehnig und fettig, ein Hohrückensteak der untersten Qualität. Meiden Sie dieses überteuerte Lokal mit unqualifiziertem Personal! Ausnehmen möchte ich mit der Kritik die beiden Köchinnen, die das beste aus der verfahrenen Situation zu machen versuchen."

"I had the opportunity to eat at Da Michelangelo and try the Rimini pizza. I have to say the food was fantastic! The pizza was freshly made and had a perfect balance of cheese, sauce and toppings. It was one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great too. It was cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and stylish furnishings. The service was friendly and attentive and I felt very comfortable during my stay. Overall, I had a great experience at Da Michelangelo and I plan to return soon. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food and a great atmosphere."

"Addendum, long overdue: Even as an occasional guest, you can almost feel at home here. Wonderful! It may be unoriginal to enjoy the sliced meat here but it's worth it! Excellently prepared, delicately seasoned, the rösti is also excellent. The reheating of the second portion over the small gas rechaud was nice to see; experienced and careful, yet completely unaffected. In general, the friendly, natural staff with their unobtrusive manner were always there at the right moment, really perfect and extremely pleasant. We really liked the Zurich Rosé, as did the Gazpacho Andaluz. Overall, one of the most well rounded dining experiences of all time. The only thing that first time visitors need to get used to is the narrow entrance, which could be mistaken for a side entrance. But then..."

"Very dear team, I would like to inform you that we were unfortunately very dissatisfied with our visit to your restaurant. The service left a lot to be desired, the waitress in particular was not focused on her tasks. She neglected to bring the cutlery to my little son even though she served the plate of pasta. It was obvious he had no cutlery, but she didn't notice. We were also served two salads that were both cold and tasteless. We also had to wait five minutes before I had to ask the waitress to bring us bread. Normally it goes without saying that bread is served with a salad. Furthermore, my wife and I ordered entrecôte steaks and I asked to replace the third sauce, which is usually served with garlic, with another one. Here too there was no interest on the part of the waitress to fulfill our wish. We regularly go to good restaurants and like to tip appropriately. Some restaurants also offer small coloring books for children. However, the service from this waitress was terrible and did not meet our expectations. "I've been several times to PH and I'm definitely coming back!Service is great, the staff makes an excellent job, they are very attentive and get people served fast!Location: it's perfect, the bar faces a small street in a pedestrian zone, very central yet there is no car traffic at all.The interior is stylish, tidy and clean, there is even a cigar room. The terrace is a blast in nice weather.Drinks: I've found them OK with a couple of nice spirits available. Long drinks came with fresh fruit, snacks were also OK to keep me alive.Drop in here if you're up for a drink and want to be surrounded by cool people."

"Also. .. Ziemlich gut. Habe die 4 Gänge Degustationsmenü gehabt. Portionen sind average. Spargelsalat: 3 Stücke Spargeln einfach gekocht mit Parmesan darauf. Das ist keine Salat. Ravioli= super zubereitet aber praktisch super minimum Füllung. Entenleber ist zu klein aber ernsthaft gesagt weltklasse zubereitet. Da sage ich wirklich Hut ab (als Entenleber Fan) Hauptgang= Rindsfilet wirklich perfekt gemacht. Rotweinsauce ist super tolll. Ich war wegen Pak Choi skeptisch aber es ist trotzdem gut angekommen. Dessert: Einfach, da hätte nichts schief gehen könnenPersonal: Grundsätzlich nett aber überfordert. Es hat kein Sommelier gegeben. Wenn man die Weinkarte und die Preise anschaut, dann würde den Konzept sich Sommelier wünschen. Brutal Minuszeichen: Essen wurde serviert wenn wir noch nicht beim Tisch waren.Anderes: Kein Amuse Bouche.Zusammengefasst: alles vorhanden um ein tolles fine-dining Restaurant zu werden aber die tolle Tulpendekoration und kleinere Portionen VS hohe Preisen werden euch nicht dazu führen. FYI schmeisse die Plastikblumen im Brasserie morgen weg. Das ist lächerlich. Tiefste Niveau"

"The food was really nice and fairly priced. But it was soooo noicy. Never experienced anything like that. It is pretty small inside and since there is almost no decorations to break the noise it was barely possible to have a chat with my friend. After dinner we were so exhausted. Also the waiter never came back to ask for desert or coffee after he took our empty plates."

"Fondue Chinoise im Restaurant ist eigentlich ein Risiko. Viel kann schief gehen. Das Fleisch viel zu dünn geschnitten oder sogar gefroren, die Saucen nicht selbstgemacht, die Bouillon zu fade...und so weiter. Schön, dass es im Walliser Keller genau nicht so ist. Super Fleischqualität, nicht gefroren und dicker geschnitten als üblich, aber so zart, dass es trotzdem ganz rasch die gewünschte Garstufe erreicht, alle Saucen hausgemacht, gut abgeschmeckte Bouillon, heisse Pommes und genug von Allem. Toll! Für Fondue Chinoise Liebhaber die erste Adresse! Zudem und in diesen Zeiten ebenso wichtig das Schutzkonzept wird ohne wenn und aber umgesetzt. Man fühlt sich sicher zwischen mobilen Plexiglaswänden und kann sein Dinner unbesorgt geniessen."

"The food was nice, but in my opinion a bit overpriced, even for Zürich. For example the entrecôte was served with French fries that seemed to be previously frozen, and the dessert of the day was a cake I personally have enjoyed at my workplace cafeteria. The escargot was good. Unfortunately the service was quite bad. The waiter assigned to our table was at times loud, attention-seeking, and insensitive (for example he made an inappropriate comment about the physical appearance of one of my colleagues). The service was also slow, and despite this our waiter made a few mistakes (for example mixing up orders and dropping espressos onto the floor). It is a shame, because the other waitstaff who assisted in the service were really lovely, but overall the experience was so chaotic, unpleasant, and off-putting that I do not think I would eat here again."

Would definitely recommend for a group or even a date night. Most recently had the 4 course 'Surprise Menu ' and was not disappointed! Again returned for lunch and was very happy with the options, execution and quality of the food. Still recommended!"

"What a shame, what a shame.... I had to delete my 5 star review from 5 years ago and make a new one now.... : The Rosalys was always my place to go I was always happy with the service and everything about it but after Corona the Rosalys changed a lot which I heard from many and now I was able to experience it myself on the phone : When I called and wanted to reserve for 9p or maybe 10p, I was told that that wasn 't possible because from 10p there was a menu with a minimum consumption. 9p works but 10 doesn 't work?! When I spoke to the manager it only got worse. I 've always noticed how absolutely NO ONE there is interested in their job and all the employees have an I don 't care attitude and walk around with a fake smile. In any case, the manager then told me that it was what it was, he even said “Take it or Leave it”!! Sorry, but that 's not the way to behave with paying customers, isn 't that how you serve?! We are all ex military and would have left a huge amount of money at Rosalys because we wanted a double seating from 6 p.m. to open end and that was denied, so we would have had to book the wine cellar for a double seating with a minimum consumption from 1,800. had my reservation been accepted as I would have liked, we would have spent much more than 1,800 Fr. just a shame. Then the manager said he didn 't have time to talk to me on the phone! hahah sorry that you don 't have to accept reservations from wealthy customers! "This was a restaurant or rather, eatery, which we returned to twice in a row, because first, while dining out in Zurich (or anyway in Switzerland for that matter) really burns a hole in the pocket, we found the pricing quite reasonable by Swiss standards as they charge based on the weight of the food. The average price of a plate we got per pax was around 15 CHF. Although this was buffet-style and we are not vegetarians, we found the food really very yummy, so much so that we didn't really miss meat much."

"Leider kommt das Café Frieda nicht an den Gnädinger an. Auswahl und geschmacklich leider nicht annähernd so gut. Das Planted Chicken Sandwich, welches mein absoluter Favorit war, wird jetzt anstatt einem dunklen Crusta Flute in einem Hellen Brot verkauft, welches überhaupt nicht schmeckt. Von 9. auf 11. Franken, zwar grösser aber m.M.n viel zu gross. Sandwich Auswahl Allgemein eher enttäuschend. Auch finde ich in der heutigen Zeit komplett in Plastik umhülte Lebensmittel nicht mehr Zeitgemäss. Da waren die Verpackungen von Gnädinger auch besser. Auch vermisse ich die Laugengipgeli mit Sonnenblumenkernen, welche ein Highlight bei jedem Brunch waren. Werde dem Café Frieda sicher noch weitere Chancen geben, und hoffe darauf das es besser wird."

"Excellent quality at a very competitive price. It 's a real Japanese restaurant, not the usual fake Chinese all you can eat . The place is not very large but still welcoming and easily accessible. The menu is very rich in gastronomic options, well presented and with good quality ingredients. The staff is friendly, also speaks English, and is very efficient. The open kitchen. The parking is not very easy to find as it is on a main road. Definitely coming back. Highly recommended."

Their menu offers a diverse selection at various price points, catering to different tastes. Whether it's alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages, the drink selection is delightful and expertly presented. The service is top-notch, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. "very bad service.!!! Unnecessary robots that bring food to the table but the waiter still has to take the food out of the robot and serve it... hahah just unnecessary. Sitting at the table and only being served after 15 minutes, I don't get any cutlery after that, only when the food came did I have to say that I needed cutlery. Cutlery was full of water stains, just sad place. Simply completely unprofessional service, will never come back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL!!!!!"
