"Very nice place with a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, as seems to be the case almost everywhere now, disappointment comes sooner or later. Tagliatelle with dark artichokes and. But there's a lot to say about the pici all'aglione: just a pale copy of the original dish (little more than a pasta with tomato flavored with garlic) and in a ridiculous portion; the cheeses on the platter are excellent but even there, minimal portions. The supreme annoyance comes with the dessert, a slice so small that the tip is almost transparent (even smaller than those I've seen before but perhaps it can be explained by the age old problem of the difference in treatment between occasional and non occasional customers) . It's a shame because the cake was very good. Acceptable wine. Last note (from a former worker in the sector): offering a coffee or a bitter doesn't bankrupt you, if anything it turns occasional people into loyal ones."

"Reluctantly (because my Dar bottarolo experiences in other locations have always been positive) unfortunately I put this review on this specific restaurant for a more than negative experience! Starter that does not reflect the usual one in the various outlets of the same name: 4 slices of Hungarian salami 2 triangles of pecorino cheese 1 bowl of beans in a tin served with preservation liquid. The first two were good, but unfortunately the second courses were horrendous, I can 't judge the chicken as I haven 't tried it. Sitting in a room we were forbidden to occupy a specific table that had a carpet under it and then find out where the sewage smell was coming from!! We leave the restaurant turning to the cashier who gives a bill of around 25 euros per person! When asking for explanations as to why I didn 't pay €19.90 given that the method I chose was the pos. I was told that it was a new restaurant that had previously been under different management and they were adopting this system because they were getting people used to paying less. What??? Absurd and non-logical answer. I conclude with the young lady who took the order and who is at the reservations and then at the checkout, with chewing gum in her mouth and I won 't comment on her further. The only positive note??? The waitress of foreign origin."

"Ieri sera per la prima volta ho provato qs. Ristorante /pizzeria. Eravamo in tre curiosi di degustare la vera carne maremmana.. Abbiamo optato per un antipasto a base di salumi e pecorini locali, ottimi! Molto buoni anche i crostini di funghi. Un tris di primi :pappardelle al ragù bianco, tortelli al burro e salvia e pici della casa veramente sublimi, una tagliata ed una Svizzera con cipolle caramellate ed un contorno di patate al forno, ovviamente la carne maremmana con un profumo speciale!!! Che dire.... Veramente ottimo e, degna conclusione con i dolci della casa, un ottimo tiramisù, una panna cotta ed i cantucci fatti da loro, accompagnati da un buon vin santo. Dimenticavo, anche il morellino sfuso non è male!!! Il tutto è stato reso ancor più piacevole dalle ragazze che ci hanno accolto e servito, disponibilissime e sempre carine e sorridenti!!! (e non è poco!! il locale è semplice e tranquillo che ti colloca nell'ambiente circostante rendendoti la serata molto piacevole! Questa è la Maremma!!! Molto, molto bene"

When they served us, the owner directly replaced the linguine with spaghetti without telling us. "Che ristorante sorprendente, un gioiello nascosto! Era la nostra seconda volta a Ponza ma solo ora abbiamo scoperto questo posto per il nostro pranzo. "Ho scelto questo ristorante per un pranzo un po' fuori dal percorso turistico. Il locale è abbastanza grande, con arredi tradizionali. Il personale è molto gentile. Il menù offre varie specialità locali. Ho scelto le rosette come primo piatto e il cuscino come secondo. Contorno di patate e un bicchiere di Lambrusco. Le rosette erano eccezionali, mi sono piaciute moltissimo. La pancetta si scioglie in bocca. Promosso a pieni voti. L'unico difetto, a mio parere, è che le porzioni sono abbastanza piccole rispetto al prezzo; ho speso 38€, non esattamente un prezzo popolare per un pranzo."
