"Questo è un fantastico ristorante locale a Sorrento, annesso all'hotel Il Faro. Ci è stato raccomandato dal receptionist della nostra casa per gli ospiti, come un buon ristorante frequentato dai locali. Aveva ragione, e ci è piaciuto il servizio cortese e amichevole, e naturalmente la cucina a base di frutti di mare. Abbiamo assaggiato uno dei migliori spaghetti alle vongole che abbiamo mangiato nel nostro viaggio di 2 settimane in Italia. Hanno inoltre proposto uno speciale di frutti di mare su una grande pasta locale ad anello che il nostro cameriere ha consigliato e siamo contenti di aver preso il suggerimento! Siamo tornati la sera successiva per il risotto ai frutti di mare - un mix di vongole, cozze e piccoli gamberetti (alicie) che era delizioso. Il concierge ci ha consigliato un vino bianco locale della Campania, delizioso, leggero e conveniente. L'hotel Il Faro si trova vicino alla Marina Piccola, in fondo a una ripida collina dal centro di Sorrento - e ad una costosa corsa in taxi dal centro della città, Piazza Tasso. Per evitare il costo del taxi, fate prenotare un tavolo dal vostro hotel o casa per gli ospiti, e poi l'hotel organizzerà un servizio navetta per venirvi a prendere a Piazza San Antonino (a 50 metri da Piazza Tasso). Organizzeranno anche un'auto per riportarvi al centro di Sorrento dopo cena."

"Aprile 2024 - Il cibo era buono e il servizio veloce. I piatti di pasta sembrano fatti in casa. I posti a sedere all'esterno erano meravigliosi in una fresca serata di primavera. Avevano i riscaldatori e i camerieri erano cordiali. Ho preso i cannelloni ripieni di ricotta e spinaci. Ottimo sapore. Mio marito ha ordinato la carbonara, che è stata servita in una padella fantastica. L'unico difetto è stato quando stavamo pagando il conto: il cameriere era molto insistente per una mancia. È stata una situazione molto scomoda. Il nostro conto è stato di €33,50 per: 2 piatti di pasta a 11€ ciascuno, acqua naturale 3,50€, 1/2 litro di vino della casa 8€."

"Avoid at all costs if you're coeliac Gluten Free. Ordered a takeaway gluten free Margherita and asked twice (once to a waiter and once to the manager) and they confirmed twice this was gluten free. Upon eating it around the corner we thought it was too good to be gluten free. So we returned to the restaurant to ask the waiter out the front and he confirmed straight away it WAS NOT gluten free. Offered no refund but they made us a new gf pizza but I don't know if we even should eat it now because how careless they were. Waiter was apologetic but manager couldn't care less and didn't even give eye contact. Hope my wife doesn't get sick now as we play russian roulette. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!"

"The definition of a hidden gem! Happened upon this place on our last night in Rome and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Very romantic, cozy spot, with excellent service, and authentic, delicious food to match. It’s tucked away in a quiet side street: a calm and intimate oasis amidst all the activity in Trastevere. We shared the Zucchini Flowers (filled with ricotta and shrimp – what a combo! , the Cacio E Pepe (had me drooling , and the Saltimbocca (the best I had during my stay in Rome – all were cooked perfectly and just oozed with flavour. Capped the evening off with an Amaro. What a genuine joy this place was. We simply can’t wait to return and have another meal here the next time we're in Rome!"

"My wife and I had a very poor meal at Fuoro tonight. My wife's chicken was not properly cooked and was still **** inside. She sent it back and, to be fair, they swiftly replaced it with a well cooked piece of beef. It wasn't really what she wanted, but she wasn't prepared to risk another portion of chicken. My sea bass was quite tasty, but small and lukewarm. I needed a microscope to see the helping of mashed potato it was supposedly served on. All the food was served very quickly after we ordered so quickly it must have been pre cooked and sitting waiting for an order. We paid up swiftly and left, and went elsewhere for a dessert because I was still hungry."

"A place with a reputation and an extremely touristy place. Very spicy chicory, a dish of PEPPER with pasta with cheese and a gricia with overcooked rigatoni (heresy in Italy) with soft and very poor quality bacon... all in a tasteless water (like broth) that doesn 't exist nothing comes in with the recipe. As for the staff: the annoyed, unclear boy who started arguing with his colleague in front of everyone about their organizational problems for the tables. Unfortunately it is one of those places that I will eliminate forever from my list of Roman trattorias. An indecency. Be wary of the queues in front of the restaurant (almost all foreigners) and the rating on Google. About pizza... I don 't know since I haven 't tried it, but the trattoria and the Roman cuisine are decidedly low quality. Too bad, years ago it wasn 't like this!!"

"Un delizioso ristorantino italiano si trova nel cuore di Sorrento, Italia. Anche se il mio tavolo sotto la tenda di tela non era dei più eleganti, il mio branzino ha compensato ampiamente. Ho iniziato con un po' di carpaccio di manzo per inaugurare il mio pasto da solo, mentre osservavo la gente e sorseggiavo un buon vino italiano. Non posso giudicare il prezzo perché era incluso nel totale del tour. Il cacio e pepe era davvero buono. Il secondo di carne era altrettanto buono. Volevo provare i carciofi alla giuda, che non erano nel menu concordato, e mi sono sembrati un po' eccessivi, in quanto dovevo pagare 5 euro per uno solo. Davvero troppo. Per il resto, il locale è da raccomandare. "Being in the Kosher neighborhood, that is a reason alone to pay a visit. It is different instead of another church and more of the tourists. This area is a step away but still within grasp of being visited. Knowing of this, when in Rome we did want to visit for lunch. It was on the list. And this was a place to see as we heard it is one that has been on social media and used in other areas. So we went. It was ideal. We had all the especial in the area. Especially the best of fried Jewish Artichokes. This alone was worth the stop. It was large, fresh, had a good taste, and was worth the stop. It was ideal. We had that along with an order of mozzarela and tomatoes. That was followed by two different pastas. One with pesto that was freshly made that day. And a pasta with more artichoke leaves and olive oil. This was an excellent lunch. The price was fair for what we were to receive. It is an old-school formula and what you would expect. It was great to have the experience and to enjoy something a little different. Thank you."

"I was there for a dinner with university friends.on the recommendation of one of the group. We ordered a bit of everything, from dim sum to pasta, from meat to fish, I must say everything was exceptional. The quality of the raw materials is of a good level as is the preparation.
