"Being in the Kosher neighborhood, that is a reason alone to pay a visit. It is different instead of another church and more of the tourists. This area is a step away but still within grasp of being visited. Knowing of this, when in Rome we did want to visit for lunch. It was on the list. And this was a place to see as we heard it is one that has been on social media and used in other areas. So we went. It was ideal. We had all the especial in the area. Especially the best of fried Jewish Artichokes. This alone was worth the stop. It was large, fresh, had a good taste, and was worth the stop. It was ideal. We had that along with an order of mozzarela and tomatoes. That was followed by two different pastas. One with pesto that was freshly made that day. And a pasta with more artichoke leaves and olive oil. This was an excellent lunch. The price was fair for what we were to receive. It is an old-school formula and what you would expect. It was great to have the experience and to enjoy something a little different. Thank you."

Toast for 10,50€ and the pasta was not the best. Not recommended!!!!

Food is good. But the service is the worst we had during our stay in Rome. Waiter was absolutely terrible.

Sempre un pasto incredibile e un ottimo servizio! Dined qui due estati di fila (2022 2023) quando trascorrere il tempo a Roma prima o dopo le nostre crociere di vacanza.

The food is amazing and fresh. The service is great and our waiter (Sherif) was very charming and helpful. The restaurant has a old Italian vibe and there's a cute garden to sit in as well as outside. One of the best stops for amatriciana and suppli!

Excellent service from Massimilliano and very good, traditional Roman menu. This is the sister restaurant of the slightly fancier Hostaria Giggetto with a pared down menu. Amazing view of ancient Roman columns and benefit of being on a quiet side street. Bring cash if you'll want to tip.

We had dinner here our first night in Rome and it was the best meal of our Italy trip so far. We started with Prosecco and the fried artichoke. For dinner we had the bucatini all'amatriciana and spaghetti al tonno both were outstanding. Service was excellent and our server recommended a very good red wine. We ended the meal with a glass of limoncello. This place is a can't miss in Rome!

Came recommended but if your American they stick you in the American section lmao never been to a restaurant that had an American section. The Italians sit up front the Americans sit in the back. At the end of the meal I told the waiter in Italian that my meal was mediocre at best and that I could make better pasta. He then said you speak good Italian and brought me out a different dish of pasta which was great. But it should have been great no matter what language I speak. So be aware if you speak English you will get put in the back and served different food then the Italians.
