"Max Mariola, lo chef romano ha raccomandato questo ristorante nel suo articolo della BBC. Sono venuto qui specificamente per provare la carbonara e non sono rimasto deluso. Ricetta tradizionale e ha un sapore diverso da tutti gli altri carbonara che ho provato. Per gli asiatici che amano il loro lardo di maiale, sarete lieti di conoscere il bacon nella carbonara è fatto molto simile, croccante e croccante! Le boscine sono grandi e fresche. "Nonostante la sua posizione in quello che sembra essere l'interpretazione dell'Olive Garden dell'autentica Sicilia, la mecca turistica di Taormina, ho avuto un'esperienza davvero positiva al Rosmarino. Non c'erano tavoli disponibili, ma siamo riusciti a mettere il nostro nome per 45 minuti dopo durante l'orario tipico del picco della cena, anche se questo è dopo che la folla delle navi da crociera lascia la città. Fortunatamente, il Rosmarino si trova direttamente dall'altra parte della strada dai giardini pubblici di Taormina, quindi è stato un'attesa piacevole. Un tavolo sulla terrazza ci ha permesso di continuare a goderci la vista durante la cena. Quello che ho mangiato era eccellente. Anche se ero troppo impegnato a gustare il mio pasto per fare osservazioni dettagliate, posso raccomandare pienamente sia le caserecce al sugo (pasta fresca fatta a mano in ragù di maiale) che i rotolini alla messinese (involtini di manzo con ripieno di formaggio e pangrattato)."

"Our first time in Venice and first time in this place. Was greeted by a rude waitress who directed us upstairs since the tables were taken. Unbeknownst to us we were a small group of 3 who were told to sit at a 6 person table and we were approached by the same rude waitress who raised her voice at us and stated that we should move because we are taking up space. It was not what she said but in the way it was said. Additionally, we witnessed her yell at 2 other customers while we waited 25 minutes for someone to come take our order. Our order arrived another 25 minutes later and was delivered by the same rude waitress. The food was mediocre, the service was horrible, the tables were disgusting and dirty. There was only one nice gentleman who sat next to us and was nice and introduced us to another nice waiter. This was seriously the only pleasant part. Terrible service, terrible management, food is meh.. you can go else where to get your service, food, and experience of Venice."

"Il luogo di culto per il cibo locale e un ottimo rappresentante del cibo prodotto nelle fattorie della Valle d'Aosta. Quasi tutto, compreso il formaggio, le marmellate, ecc., è stato prodotto localmente (non posso garantire per la polenta, però). Il personale è stato così gentile da prepararmi un'opzione vegetariana quando non avevano carne di manzo o maiale disponibile. La mia compagna, invece, ha optato per la carne salata e ha apprezzato moltissimo il cibo. Consiglio vivamente questo posto anche se è a qualche chilometro dal centro città. È necessario prenotare in anticipo per mangiare qui. Consiglierei anche di camminare i tre chilometri interi dal centro città per poter bilanciare le calorie servite qui. Le porzioni erano abbondanti e la cheesecake era splendida. Ho dovuto fare una passeggiata tra un piatto e l'altro per poter finire il pasto. Suggerimenti: Forse iscriversi a un sito come OpenTable o un'app simile per prenotare un tavolo. Ho dovuto chiamare ma non c'era risposta. Inoltre, forse fornire una versione multilingue del sito web? In inglese, francese, ecc."

"FOOD YES, SERVICE NO We came to this tavern for lunch in a group of 7, convinced by word of mouth. The welcome was more than good unlike the table service. The main problem arose when ordering, we were told that it was impossible to order 7 different first courses as we were in a Roman tavern . We find it absurd that this had not been made known to us immediately, so in the end we opted for 3 types of first courses (the choice could have been between about a dozen different first courses). When we were the first to arrive, we found a hair in one of them, we decided not to point it out after returning from service and due to our lack of material time. A shame about the quality of the service given that of the food."

"From a tourist aspect, this was definitely a great experience. The restaurant is a family business which is rare these days. The restaurant is located close to the Pantheon. The food was very tasty and Italian style. The pizza was delicious and the pasta was magnificent. The service is also very good; The waiters were very friendly and took the time to chat and make some funny jokes (they also really like football/soccer). The food is served quickly and correctly. It also was very cosy and warm, a restaurant suited for a family. It really felt like Italy at its finest. It was also the only restaurant in Rome we visited twice, something we normally never do. So if you want great Italian food with very friendly people in a comfortable restaurant, definitely go here. Forza Vito!"

"Un posto incredibile Vegano/Vegetariano a Roma vicino alla stazione Termini. Normalmente non mi fermo mai vicino alla stazione ferroviaria ma questa volta ero lì e ho esplorato questo accogliente locale e sono stato subito attratto dall'opzione vegana ma dai piatti tradizionali italiani. Ci sono molti piatti a cui ho rinunciato a provare essendo vegetariano, ma in questo ristorante ho avuto l'opportunità di assaporarli. Ho ordinato gli Spaghetti alla Carbonara ma onestamente non mi sono piaciuti molto, erano troppo pesanti, cremosi e ricchi per me. Ma la bruschetta ai Porcini e la tagliata ai Porcini con patate erano stupendi. Assicuratevi di prenotare un tavolo o se vi trovate lì di passaggio come me, avrete poco tempo. Ho a malapena finito la mia cena ma ho dovuto partire. La prossima volta visiterò prenotando il tavolo. Se ordinate 2 piatti potete pagare 30-40 con le bevande, dal momento che ho ordinato un piatto in più ho pagato di più, che alla fine non sono riuscito a consumare. In ogni caso, nel complesso un'esperienza positiva e per le persone in cerca di vegetariani questo è un posto piacevole."

"Siamo passati all'Antica Osteria della Stella a pranzo. La location é molto carina e ben ristrutturata e il personale é davvero gentile e servizievole. Abbiamo ordinato un tagliere di salumi misti locali, costo 26€. Il tagliere risulta essere scarso, soprattutto per due persone, inoltre i salumi che vengono portati non hanno nulla di particolarmente speciale; può essere che sia un'opinione dettata dal fatto che sono abituato con il crudo di Parma riserva, il salame felino. Il rapporto qualità prezzo, dal mio punto di vista, non é conveniente: con 26 euro potete acquistare 2 etti e mezzo di culatello di eccellente qualità che surclassa il salume del talgiere in questione. 1 tagliere, 1 acqua naturale, 1 caffè: 39€. Direi eccessivo. Il coperto ammontava a 3,5€, ma includeva la piccola entrè e un assaggio di dolce. Io attribuisco le 5 stelle in base a: location, servizio, bontà del cibo, rapporto qualità prezzo, tratti distintivi unici. Questo ristorante ha location e servizio, ma il giudizio si limita a quello che ho assaggiato. Il mio consiglio: consultate attentamente il menù con un occhio ai prezzi prima di entrare."

"AVOID. This is an awful place, the worst latte/coffee in Taormina in my experience. They don't even use fresh milk, croissants not fresh either. This left me feel so sickly and nauseated. Have been here for 3 weeks and this was by far the worst coffee. They also charge double at 5 euros Vs 2.50 in the side streets and a few meters down) for the latte machiatto. I ended up walking and then going to Excelsior Hotel for another latte to get the awful long life milk taste out of my mouth and paid the same price, but got much better service, better latte with real milk and lovely biscuits too. Great lattes/coffee can be found in the five star hotels, Osterica just a few metres down, a place right across Bam Bam Bar and also Cafe Zerrafno (I think it is called). I think the 5 star reviews are mainly from American tourists whoms palate/life experiences/ idea of quality differs to those from Europe/Asia/Middle East. If i wanted a microwave meal i would have gone to the supermarket and ate it in my hotel room. "We stumbled upon it by chance, the place was too full, we feared not eating and that it was the usual place for tourists, given that it is located between the Colosseum, the Domus Aurea and the Tito baths. However the staff was very quick, we ate simple dishes of Roman cuisine, excellent cacio e pepe and gnocchi with meat sauce that look like the ones made by grandmother. The Roman saltimbocca is good, the oxtail is excellent. The sautéed chicory was missing a bit of chilli, but this was largely forgiven by the delicacy of the vegetables. Don't miss out on the tiramisu, preferable to panna cotta. Maybe not made by them. If you go to Rome you can't miss going there, but next time I'll book, because the place isn't very big."
