"I came here for lunch and it was phenomenal, absolutely no complaints at all. My family each enjoyed every meal. I would suggest the lasagna or veal osso buco. I came back here for dinner and the service was terrible our waitress never came to ask how our meals were after we were given the incorrect meals. She also broke the cork in our wine which we picked out of our glasses with our fingers. The food was also not great. She gave us a steak even when we didn’t order it, Amatriciana had zero Guanciale and was just tomato sauce, veal was terrible, food was salty, our pasta dishes had “mystery meat”. Great review for lunch when the clientele seem to have more locals. Avoid for dinner when you are seated on the tourist side of the restaurant and fed mediocre meals."

"From a tourist aspect, this was definitely a great experience. The restaurant is a family business which is rare these days. The restaurant is located close to the Pantheon. The food was very tasty and Italian style. The pizza was delicious and the pasta was magnificent. The service is also very good; The waiters were very friendly and took the time to chat and make some funny jokes (they also really like football/soccer). The food is served quickly and correctly. It also was very cosy and warm, a restaurant suited for a family. It really felt like Italy at its finest. It was also the only restaurant in Rome we visited twice, something we normally never do. So if you want great Italian food with very friendly people in a comfortable restaurant, definitely go here. Forza Vito! "FOOD YES, SERVICE NO We came to this tavern for lunch in a group of 7, convinced by word of mouth. The welcome was more than good unlike the table service. The main problem arose when ordering, we were told that it was impossible to order 7 different first courses as we were in a Roman tavern . We find it absurd that this had not been made known to us immediately, so in the end we opted for 3 types of first courses (the choice could have been between about a dozen different first courses). When we were the first to arrive, we found a hair in one of them, we decided not to point it out after returning from service and due to our lack of material time. A shame about the quality of the service given that of the food."

"Eating in Naples is a pleasure, at Mattozzi it wasn't for us. There were two of us and we ordered a grilled sea bream, a mixed fry and a plate of broccoli. Unfortunately, we immediately found ourselves in a climate of conflict between the various waiters which made us uncomfortable. We ordered still water and it arrived sparkling and we didn't dare ask for a replacement. The dishes arrived at different times, the first after 40 minutes. The sea bream was normal, the fry had 2 scampi and 5 squid rings, very dry and not at all soft. The broccoli smelled and was disgusting, we asked to change them and after 5 minutes they arrived the same. In the end, to apologize for the misunderstandings, the owner wanted to offer us a babá, terrible, watered down, the worst I could imagine and presented us with a bill of 47 euros!!!! The inedible and smelly friarielli cost 6 euros. Now, we go to Naples 2 or 3 times a year, but luckily bad experiences like this rarely happen to us. "La Taverna Degli Apostoli es, para mí, el mejor sitio para comer en Amalfi y uno de los pocos lugares de la ciudad para disfrutar de una buena comida regional italiana cuyos sabores y precios no se modifiquen para los turistas. Descubrimos el restaurante siguiendo el consejo de un local de Amalfi y no nos decepcionó. El restaurante está ubicado básicamente debajo del Duomo de Amalfi, por lo que es fácil de encontrar desde la plaza principal. Io e mia moglie eravamo in viaggio per un soggiorno di una settimana in Italia e abbiamo scoperto questo posto dopo cena nell'ultima notte a Venezia. L’uomo che lavorava lì era il più grande maleducato che abbia mai incontrato. Prima di tutto, gli chiedo se posso usare il bagno, e capisco che possa infastidirlo, poiché molti turisti cercano di usarlo senza comprare nulla, tuttavia, noi intendiamo tornare per acquistare qualcosa. Poi, mia moglie chiede se può assaggiare un gusto di gelato e lui interrompe bruscamente l'altro dipendente dicendo che dobbiamo pagare per ogni assaggio (cosa che non è pratica comune e non è la loro politica, quindi l'ha completamente inventata). Dopo che abbiamo ordinato entrambi due coni, ci dice che non accettano carte (cosa che invece fanno, ed è una totale bugia). Dopo che lo rimprovero e gli dico che non ho più euro, lui mi addebita esattamente la cifra di euro che gli ho detto di avere... (decisamente sospetto). Ancora una volta, non sono il tipico recensore che si lamenta di piccole cose accadute durante una visita, ma quest'uomo ha fornito il peggior servizio che abbia mai ricevuto nella mia vita e sono contento di non avergli lanciato il gelato in faccia. "Strongly not recommended to anyone who wants to organize any event (from a simple dinner to a birthday) in this place. I don't usually give negative reviews, but unfortunately this time I feel compelled to do so to avoid what happened to us to other people. My girlfriend decides to celebrate her birthday at this place, having already been there several times. Then contact the venue well in advance (3 weeks) to explicitly request to book an independent room for you and your guests, in order to have a room at your disposal where you can celebrate in peace with a bit of music. The restaurant responds by telling her that it is possible and therefore agrees to reserve the room just for her. In the following days, we called the venue several times to define further details, communicate the exact number of guests and receive confirmation of the exclusive independent room, reiterating this last need several times to which we were always responded positively. Unfortunately, on the same day of the birthday, an hour before entering the venue (literally an hour before), they call us telling us that they have decided to assign the room we booked to other people who needed to see the final of the Sanremo festival and therefore they had reserved a space for us in the main room shared with other people. Being unable to find alternatives and to avoid ruining our birthday, we are forced to confirm our presence. Once we arrive at the venue, we point out our disappointment, but the person we turned to simply limits himself to justifying himself, trying to convince us (in vain) that the new solution is better than the agreed upon one, without even apologizing for the inconvenience created and the failure to respect word. So to avoid ruining the party we decide to stay in the common room. Furthermore, a member of staff, while pouring wine into one of the glasses, accidentally spilled some of it on my girlfriend's dress. Here too, no apology was received and not even a proposal for a solution to the damage caused. To conclude the evening, we would have expected at least preferential treatment on the final price, but this was not the case. We were presented with a penny bill, despite the amount spent. Given what happened, I strongly advise against anyone thinking about organizing an event at this venue. The staff lacks personality and unfortunately also lacks fairness towards their customers. It was a terrible experience that I hope others won't have to experience again."
