Greeted by the Patron who we recommended to serve us quickly because we had the train we had the food at 1.50 pm or after almost 1 hour But do you want to give it to me good? Instead the pizza still had mozzarella in pieces and the spaghetti with tomato sauce was overcooked and bland Luckily the tomato is so good in Naples that it still leaves you with a good memory Luckily this pizzeria is also historic!!! I ate pizza with my family and I have to say that it wasn't that great. The usual pizza for tourists. The products aren't bad, but there's something wrong with the dough, maybe with the cooking... I don't know! Mine was overcooked, with ash residue sticking to the ledge. The environment is a bit dirty and too noisy. I recommend another pizzeria if you want to eat real Neapolitan pizza. La pizza era accettabile, ma la lasagna era davvero scadente e in quantità insufficiente. Abbiamo ordinato il bologna, che non era buono né per quanto riguarda la porzione, né la qualità, né il sapore. Avremmo preferito non pagarlo. Inoltre, abbiamo chiesto la carbonara, che era accettabile, ma la porzione era incredibilmente piccola. Ci tenevamo a provarla ed è stata una delusione. Anche il servizio è stato ostile e flemmatico. From Rome, every time I go to Naples, Mattozzi is a must for me. The best pizza of all with truly first choice ingredients. However, every time I discover ever better and newer dishes. Yesterday the seafood risotto was a triumph of flavours. The owner Paolo is very kind and always offers us new and welcome culinary attentions. Eating in Naples is a pleasure, at Mattozzi it wasn't for us. There were two of us and we ordered a grilled sea bream, a mixed fry and a plate of broccoli. Unfortunately, we immediately found ourselves in a climate of conflict between the various waiters which made us uncomfortable. We ordered still water and it arrived sparkling and we didn't dare ask for a replacement. The dishes arrived at different times, the first after 40 minutes. The sea bream was normal, the fry had 2 scampi and 5 squid rings, very dry and not at all soft.
