"Ristorante con vista sul lago di Orto. Essendo sera e con maltempo, abbiamo cenato all'interno, ma l'atmosfera non ne ha risentito, essendo il locale ben arredato e caratteristico. Il personale è attento e gentile. La cucina è stata la vera sorpresa: piatti rivisitati e innovativi (soprattutto gli antipasti), ben presentati e, soprattutto, eccellenti. "Ristorante non molto grande, 20 coperti circa, situato nei pressi di piazza Bernini. Il locale si presenta molto minimal, silenzioso e pulito. Lo staff è di una professionalità e cortesia che raramente si trovano in giro. La qualità dei prodotti e la ricercatezza dei piatti è pari, se non superiore, a molti ristoranti stellati. Prima delle portate principali vengono serviti degli entrè di livello. Nel mio caso ci hanno servito una tartelleta di burro salato ripiena con sopra un pezzetto di cipolla caramellata, un acciuga arrotolata con all'interno una crema all ndiluja, un gambero pastellato aromatizzato alla paprika ed una sorta di mousse. TUTTO ECCEZIONALE. Una combinazione unica di sapori. Come antipasto ho optato per un insalata di calamari e scampi servita con una crema di patate mentre come secondo il polpo in agrodolce; il tiramisù dello zio come dessert. Tutto preparato a regola d'arte, un susseguirsi di sapori unici che stupisce. Erano anni che non mangiavo così bene. La carta dei vini è ben fornita ed il titolare sa dare i giusti consigli. Vorrei spendere ancora 2 parole per il dessert; il tiramisù dello zio. Trattasi di un tiramisù scomposto, gli ingredienti sono simili a quelli originali ma con qualche piccola variazione... Un piatto di livello che conclude una cena di livello. Ancora complimenti."

"Local located in Viale del Verano, San Lorenzo district. Considering that we are not exactly among the most elegant neighborhoods in Rome, the owners' work in embellishing the place is particularly appreciated, with beautiful bamboo plants that act as a screen and a retractable roof that make the restaurant beautiful. Compliments. The food is of an excellent standard, fresh fish and treated very well by the chef. The desserts are also very good. So what's missing to get to 5 stars? In my opinion there are some necessary improvements (for a place of this level) in the service which is very friendly and fast, but with some incomprehensible distractions. Still, a place worth trying. Prices obviously not low but certainly in line with the quality."

"I have been to this restaurant several times, but unfortunately it has gotten worse in recent times, especially in the service, which is very slowed down by the delivery service. "What can I say...I LOVE THIS PLACE! From the first time it is a constant, the quality of the food is among the best in Fiumicino. Personally, I'm a big fuss about fish, but in this restaurant I really eat everything. The combinations they make are delicious and they take care of everything down to the smallest detail. We usually take a mix of cooked and raw starters, two first courses (last time I took tagliolini with red prawns and my boyfriend the usual spaghetti with clams and bottarga, but the amberjack ragù is also excellent), the second course for I'm fixated on the sea bream fillet, all with a good wine and we finish with the desserts (excellent tiramisu), coffee and bitters. The owner is very kind and attentive to the customer, and so is the rest of the staff. Regarding the cost, I would say that the prices are very fair for what you eat... I will be going back as always for two years now."

"Ristorante assolutamente stupendo con cibo delizioso. Antipasto da chef con polpo, gamberi e un piatto di ricotta al limone che erano davvero squisiti. Poi abbiamo ordinato la pasta ai funghi, cremosa e cosparsa di fresche erbe aromatiche, una vera delizia. Avremmo potuto felicemente dirci buonanotte dopo questo, ma avevamo ordinato un secondo di pesce da condividere; il manager non ci ha preso alla lettera e ci ha servito due porzioni di pesce (una a testa) che costavano €38, senza nulla al di là del piatto, e rispetto al resto del pasto è stata una piccola delusione poiché mancava di sapore... Complessivamente è un ottimo posto, a parte il pezzetto di pesce bianco più costoso e microscopico che mi sia mai stato servito. Inoltre, il bagno era bloccato e strabordante, il che è molto grave per un locale di questo tipo, e quando l'ho segnalato, non riuscivano a farmi uscire dalla porta abbastanza velocemente; non volevano sentirne parlare."

"Ho festeggiato con mia moglie il nostro quarto anniversario di matrimonio. Abbiamo trascorso una serata splendida in una location mozzafiato. Ci siamo affidati alle proposte culinarie dello chef Guido, che ci ha "guidato" in un'escalation di sapori culminata con il dolce al gelato caramellato, che a mio parere è stato l'apice del gusto. La formula della degustazione a scelta dello chef potrebbe non piacere a tutti, ma a mio avviso rende tutto più curioso e originale. Non ho assaggiato il crudo perché non sono un amante, ma i piatti che vedevo passare mi incuriosivano molto. Ottima la cantina, soprattutto i vini bianchi e rosé. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è giusto. I coperti non sono molti e i tavoli sono piccoli e raccolti. È un posto intimo. Vi consiglio di prenotare in anticipo. Ci torneremo sicuramente per provare altre portate..."

"Avevo grandi aspettative su questo posto che volevo provare da diversi anni, ma temo di aver avuto un pessimo tempismo; a giudicare dalle review di qualche anno fa, deve essere cambiato qualcosa. La location è molto bella con una romantica vista sul mare e il personale è gentile ma queste due cose non sono riuscite a farmi perdonare le pecche. Ci era stato illustrato un antipasto di pesce crudo come fuori menù, e abbiamo deciso di ordinarne uno da dividere. In realtà è arrivato un antipasto misto crudo e cotto; il crudo anche buono mentre il cotto era da gastronomia. Le porzioni decisamente abbondanti ma nel conto abbiamo poi visto che ci sono stati addebitati 2 antipasti per 25 euro ciascuno. Abbiamo poi ordinato una pasta ai ricci e un tonno scottato (buoni entrambi). 2 calici di vino e un caffè. Totale: 116,50 Euro. Il conto peraltro è stato fatto due volte perché la prima avevano dimenticato il coperto (6 euro per 2), che a questo punto si sarebbe potuto omaggiare, ma sono scelte gestionali... Prezzo totale decisamente sovradimensionato rispetto alla quantità e qualità di quanto consumato. A Balestrate si può mangiare meglio e a prezzi più contenuti altrove. Mi auguro genuinamente di aver beccato una serata storta, perché il posto è veramente magico e basterebbe poco per rendere cucina e servizio all'altezza. Fino ad allora, suggerisco di rivedere i prezzi."

"My wife and I were so glad that we found this cozy Chinese restaurant while looking for a place for dinner on 10/31. Their sign “clay pot rice”, their signature dish, immediately caught our attention. We gave it a try and were totally delighted. It is very rare yo see a clay pot rice (a specialized dish) restaurant in a place like Milan. Most restaurants don’t even offer that in Chinese populated places like San Francisco Bay Area, USA (where we are from). In fact we like it so much we went back the next night 11/1 and had more. First night we had chicken mushroom rice, har gow (shrimp dumpling). The next night we had the Chinese sausage pork rib rice, chicken feet and clay pot squid. On a cold night, nothing is better than a piping hot delicious rice dish cooked to order. Making a good clay pot rice is not easy. The chicken and pork ribs were marinated well and rice was cooked to the right texture, not undercooked or watery. The har gow shrimp dumpling skin was thin and translucent like it should be. The shrimp meat texture was just right. It was much better and far less expensive than MU Dim Sum we tried the other day. The chicken feet was also a surprise find in Milan. The skin is fluffy separating from the bones like it should be. All in all just a fantastic experience in this small restaurant. Sonia was very friendly and sociable making our dinner that much better. Even local Italians came for their delicious food. If you are looking for Chinese food, look no further and try their clay pot rice, especially on a cold night. "Ho deciso di provare questo ristorante visto le recensioni positive. Sono un appassionato di cucina giapponese e la mangio almeno una volta a settimana. Il ragazzo che ti accoglie è molto gentile e professionale. Il posto è pulito. Sfortunatamente, il cibo ha bisogno di essere rivisto un po'. I nigiri hanno proporzioni errate di riso e pesce, e ovviamente c'è troppo riso (un riso insapore e servito tiepido). Il pesce, tagliato alla perfezione, già si sfalda nel piatto (è fresco?). Decido di non continuare con il pesce crudo (meglio non scherzare e optare per piatti caldi). Ordino dei normali yaki soba (spaghetti di grano saraceno) e ricevo degli spaghetti di grano tradizionali. Chiedo spiegazioni e mi dicono che sono abituato ad altri ristoranti, ma da loro è così. Gli antipasti, compresi i bao, sono tutti rigorosamente immersi in salse e mi chiedo... potrebbe essere per coprire il sapore delle materie prime? A mio modesto parere, la cucina giapponese non ha nulla a che vedere con questo; se parliamo di cucina fusion o orientale, forse, ma se non ti piacciono le salse, stai alla larga.
