"Abbiamo avuto un'esperienza molto negativa e inaspettata qui, mentre pranzavamo con il nostro gruppo. Hanno messo la carne su una pietra calda, anche se ci avevano avvisato che era calda, il avvertimento non è stato affatto sufficiente, il tavolo non era abbastanza grande e nonostante fossimo attenti, il braccio del nostro figlio di 9 anni ha toccato la pietra per un attimo e si è bruciato. Prima l'abbiamo lavato, poi hanno versato qualcosa sopra, e siamo corsi in farmacia. L'abbiamo coperto contro il sole. Ha sofferto durante questa situazione. Il personale deve essere molto più attento e avvisare che toccare la pietra può causare ustioni, specialmente quando ci sono bambini, o devono mettere la pietra lontano dai bambini. Se non possono fare questo, non dovrebbero portare la pietra a quei tavoli!"

"Questo posto è stato assolutamente salvifico per il nostro gruppo, poiché eravamo temporaneamente nella zona dell'aeroporto di Malpensa e volevamo cercare un buon ristorante italiano per cenare. Devi presentarti presto o finirai per aspettare perché questo posto diventa molto affollato molto rapidamente con molti altri clienti la sera. Abbiamo ordinato la pasta con le vongole, la pasta carbonara, le pizze (diavolo, 4 formaggi, crudo), la pasta bolognese e il tiramisù. Il bolognese è stato facilmente uno dei migliori che abbia mai assaggiato rispetto a molti ristoranti italiani nella mia città. I camerieri erano piuttosto impegnati ma hanno fatto del loro meglio per ospitarci e uno dei nostri piatti ci è stato servito significativamente in ritardo. Nel complesso mi è piaciuto mangiare qui e questo posto è all'altezza della sua fama. Grazie mille! un viaggiatore dalla NZ."

"Mi viene da dire ci provano ma non ci riescono..cenato ad agosto in questo ristorante..portate non male, ma non all' altezza del prezzo richiesto..cena per 2 117 euro a testa...vino caldo, servizio con troppi errori(nonostante la buona volontà ...dolci non ci siamo..peccato per che la qualità del pesce c era..però se metti determinati prezzi non devi sbagliare un colpo..peccato, ripeto per una cena menù degustazione più una bottiglia di vino a quasi 120 euro a persona preferisco andare altrove..ottimi calamaretti a spillo con spuma di patate ottimi anche i primi..peccato perché la buona volontà c e, ma a volte non basta.."

"When I recently visited the Italian restaurant Gusto in Rome, I was initially impressed by the cozy atmosphere and charming ambience. The restaurant was tucked away in a quaint alleyway, which immediately gave a feeling of authenticity. Upon entering, my senses were caressed by the tantalizing smells of freshly prepared food and I was eager to savor the best of Italian cuisine. We were warmly greeted by a waiter who showed us to our table. The menu was extensive and offered a variety of traditional Italian dishes, from antipasti to pasta to delicious main courses. After placing our orders, we were excited for a dining experience. The entrees we ordered were delicious and carefully prepared. The burrata was creamy and tender, perfectly combined with sun-dried tomatoes and fresh basil. The bruschetta was also a delight, with crusty bread and a wonderfully spicy tomato mixture. For the main course, I chose a classic pasta alla carbonara, while my companion chose the lasagne al forno. The flavors were exceptional and reflected the quality of the ingredients. Every bite was a taste experience that I won 't soon forget. However, despite the heavenly taste of the food, I was a bit disappointed with the portion sizes. Although the quality of the dishes was exceptional, the portions were smaller than expected. This was particularly disappointing as I was hoping to be properly full after a long day of exploring Rome. However, I would like to emphasize that the service at Gusto was first class. The staff were attentive and courteous, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. I would definitely recommend the restaurant, but future guests should be aware that the portions may be on the small side."

"Same as my previous review for Emasi ! They are the same family and group ! Single diner experience arriving at 21:30 without a reservation! Amazingly honest and authentic food that you can afford and that will leave you filled and happy inside. Aubergine paramagne was delicious but the focccia to go with it made this so utterly delicious to eat with your finger dipping in the lushness of the eggplant and cheese and tomato sauce. Fruite de Mare pasta main was delicious but this is some amazing pasta homemade and silky buttery sauce ! Amazing price too! Also make sure you book for lunch or dinner ! It’s small and very busy! "Purtroppo, la nostra esperienza qui è stata piuttosto deludente. Avendo viaggiato ampiamente, ho incontrato molte trappole per turisti, ma questo posto si distingue per tutte le ragioni sbagliate. Il servizio è stato estremamente scortese. Quando avevamo alcune domande sul menu, il personale sembrava infastidito e poco disponibile, rendendo difficile per noi comprendere. Abbiamo deciso di prendere solo un drink e andare via, ma il proprietario ci ha affrontati con un tono molto arrabbiato, insistendo su un ulteriore costo turistico. La sua mancanza di decoro e di buone maniere è stata evidente, e questo ci ha lasciato, a me e alla mia famiglia, un gusto amaro. Il personale e il proprietario potrebbero sicuramente trarre beneficio dal migliorare le loro abilità di ospitalità."

"Trovata fantastica! Andateci!! Abbiamo scoperto questo posto dopo aver letto una recensione ed era vicino all'appartamento dove alloggiavamo. Abbiamo fatto una prenotazione e siamo stati rapidamente accomodati. Abbiamo assaggiato il ragù di cinghiale, pasta ai frutti di mare e antipasti di pane ai mozzarella. Il nostro cameriere Gabriel era cordiale e disponibile. Ci ha consigliato un vino da vicino a Livorno. Abbiamo avuto del Limoncello meraviglioso offerto dalla casa. Tutto era così buono che siamo tornati due sere dopo per gustare di nuovo. Abbiamo preso il polpo con patate come antipasto questa volta ed era eccezionale, ho preso la pasta ai porcini. Mmm. Anche i locali mangiavano qui, quindi sai che era buono e non turistico. Complimenti al nostro cameriere Gabriel e al suo padre, il cuoco!! Vorremmo poter tornare."

"Pizzeria tradizionale a Borgo Pio. Il locale è piccolino ma ha dei tavolini per mangiare. Le misure anti Covid sono state applicate. La pizza è molto buona e lo staff amichevole. Sono sempre andata qui con la mia famiglia dopo delle gite a San Pietro o ai musei vaticani (vista la vicinanza). Sono tornata per la prima volta dopo la pandemia ed è stato triste vedere il calo di clienti rispetto ai ritmi pre-Covid (la pizzeria era sempre molto affollata prima). La consiglio vivamente se siete in zona e volete un pezzo di pizza, calzoni, fritti o un pasto caldo. Il bagno potrebbe essere un pochino più curato."

"I made a reservation and went. There were so many Koreans there that I thought it was a Korean restaurant. The staff were really friendly. I especially liked the fact that the blonde server I was in charge of checked everything one by one as I ordered. I ate tomato bruschetta (3€ and troutplazagna (12€ by myself and I was completely full. Both menus are recommended! The bread they brought was free. However, if you want to eat the appetizer and main menu separately, you will have to ask for the main dish to be served after eating the appetizer. They brought it all to me at once so I ate it in turns because I was afraid the lasagna would get cold. The house white wine (9.5€ was so-so. Not much acidity, not sweet, slightly bland? The sangria looked delicious, but I had already ordered 50cl of wine so I just drank it haha."

"Ordered steak that was basically killed twice that's how overcooked it was. Diavola and calzone were the only saving grace. Everything else I'd never order again especially a steak (di mazno as the owner is trying to say I meant the 16 euro steak. Di mazno is clearly steak as well) that's 22 euros comes with no sides and you're never asked how you'd like it prepared. I've never been somewhere where the default wellness is well done. Good views have to be for the place next door on accident. Service charge for a sleeping infant is insulting too as she was in a kangaroo carrier and took up no space and required no service. "Un cordiale benvenuto seguito da un insediamento quasi conquistato. Tutti hanno ottenuto il primo corso secondo quello che era conveniente in cucina e ha dovuto aspettare fino a quando abbiamo finito di mangiare individualmente. "staff seems to be indifferent to what they do; two of three dishes were decent but definitely weren’t something special, the steak was really awful (couldn’t even cut it with a knife). Booked a table following the Michelin guide recommendations and I’m shocked how this place’s got there, I’ve checked if we went to a wrong place but no my card was charged by Santa Teresa restaurant, checked the menu at their website and another surprise prices quoted at the website are lower by 10% compared to the menu provided to you at the table. Now I’m loosing my faith in the Michelin guides…the place seems to be fully booked, mostly locals, perhaps, it’s because there are different prices and chefs for them."

"Il dilemma che affronta ogni turista (o anche solo visitatore in transito) in una città come Roma è dove poter mangiare qualcosa di tipico, ben cucinato, con servizio all'altezza. Poi ci sono gli abitanti, che fuggono con orrore dai posti considerati turistici. Ecco, il Corsaro è la risposta a entrambe le esigenze. Il gestore e lo staff sono gentili e simpatici, bravissimi nell'arte di scherzare senza eccedere troppo, rendendo il pasto originale, allietato dalla sagace ironia capitolina. I piatti sono ottimi, sia di carne che di pesce, e le porzioni giuste. Il pesce è la specialità del posto ma anche puntarelle, carciofi alla romana, carbonara e matriciana hanno superato la prova. "Very intimate and romantic place, friendly and helpful staff, very good food. Let me start by saying that I am a vegetarian and here there were several dishes that I could choose (two starters, three first courses and obviously the side dishes) I took the mushroom gnocchi and they were excellent! My partner preferred a fish menu with a crudité starter and a second course. We finished it all off with two excellent desserts (abundant tiramisu and a panna cotta) the wine list is extensive, not cheap but we managed to find the right bottle for us. With dessert we had a glass of moscato (which was offered to us on the final bill) Fair price for a restaurant in the center of Venice and generous portions."

"Eccellente! Non è necessario essere esperti gastronomici per affermare che un piatto di tagliatelle con gamberi e pomodorini sia davvero delizioso. E che dire dei ravioli di zucca? Il menù di stagione è fantastico, con piatti tradizionali rivisitati e ingredienti freschi. Ci siamo trovati davvero bene, ma la sorpresa finale è stata il conto: davvero economico per quanto abbiamo gustato e per il posto in cui ci trovavamo. "I am visiting Rome for the first time and while I don’t Mind Italian food, it has never really been my first choice. I had a few decent Italian dishes while on a food tour so on the last day of my trip I decided I would try an Italian restaurant as my grand finale. After reviewing different menus within the square, and being invited into them, I decided I would try Virgilio. The hostess who was outside soliciting customers was nice and about to seat me at a table and a man with a white shirt with black tie who I had seen at the tables while I had been in the square stopped her. In Italian, he told her something and with a stern face shook his head. She then turned to me with a disappointed face (as if not wanting to upset me) but situationally aware, I understood that he did not want me there. I looked at him and simply said: “Don’t worry about it.” and walked away because I refuse to beg someone to provide a service that I would be paying for. I walked around for a few minutes but wanted management aware of what had happened so I returned. It was then that another young lady who was serving tables advised me that He (the man who denied my seating) Was the manager (so I knew that my complaint would be falling on deaf ears and I left. I am rather disappointed because I did not have breakfast with the intention of having a hearty lunch before my evening flight. This was a rather unfortunate irreparable experience."

"Clean, cosy, lovely little place, a lot of choice but clearly laid out, simple food made with care and very good value. Not fine dining but it does not pretend to be, vegetarians and vegans would not struggle here, bread could have been better was the only quibble. Seemed to be filled with tourists such as myself from all over the world, we seemed quite a pleasant rounded mix the night we were in. The place also seemed to have a few locals and possibly Italians from further afield dining here, which myself and my partner took as a good sign just after we had ordered and observed people flowing in chatting to staff; i'm pleased to say on this occasion this turned out not to be an unfounded good sign. The staff were excellent, the best experience from an eatery point of view after two days in the city. Reflecting a little more they would hold their own in many of the best places I've been too."
