"Aberlour is absurdly beautiful and if you want a central and very cozy place to stay, this is The Aberlour Hotel! The room was much bigger than I thought, with a large bathroom with a great shower and smelling amenities. The room already has hangers, bathrobes and slippers, a good TV and items for making tea and coffee. The hotel has dining facilities and a bar with the best cider I had in Scotland. The food is delicious, both for dinner and breakfast! It is very close to the Aberlour distillery and the GlenAllichie distillery, you can walk to both. I recommend seeing the surroundings, especially the bridge over the River Spey. There is a market next to the hotel with lots of delicious and fresh things, great for buying water or some sweets. If you are traveling by car, the hotel has its own parking. Walkability: You can walk to the Aberlour and GlenAllichie distilleries, which is great if you're going on one of the Whiskey tasting tours."

I visited the Aberlour Hotel for a late Sunday lunch on November 15, 2023. They accommodated four of us on very short notice. Stayed for 2 nights last week....staff very helpful ....had a room change due to mobility issues...fantastic room...comfortable bed. We had a meal on the first night....fish and chips....the fish was fresh and the batter very light and crispy. Safety: I felt very safe and everything was well-organized. Walkability: There are plenty of attractions nearby that are easy to reach on foot.
