"We were excited to spend our afternoon at the Beaulieu Hotel to celebrate our ruby wedding anniversary, but we were quite disappointed with the atmosphere and dining experience. There was no background music, which contributed to a lack of ambiance. The food portions were very small, and we weren't even asked what type of tea we wanted. The sandwiches served didn’t match those listed on the website, the scones were bland and only the size of golf balls, and the cream didn’t resemble proper clotted cream. Overall, I left feeling unsatisfied with our afternoon tea experience."

The sandwich selection was lacking, offering only a chicken or tomato option for vegetarians. One vegetarian in our group doesn't like tomatoes! However, the selection of desserts was excellent.

It was a delightful experience. Although there were a few staff members working due to COVID restrictions, we enjoyed a peaceful and contemplative atmosphere. Since we had all afternoon, it wasn't an issue at all.

Absolutely terrible. The old building has creaky floorboards that make noise all the time. The walls are paper-thin, so you can hear everything going on around you. If you're looking to unwind, this is definitely not the place! The location is decent, but the staff at the reception are slow and unhelpful. The room was dirty and in disrepair, with stained carpets and peeling paint. Overall, a dreadful experience. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 3.

Stayed here for a few days. Such a lovely place nesting in the new forest plains with Beaulieu Train station next door, excellent if you want a quiet getaway. There’s a small swimming pool here and on site is a restaurant too but that’s got a different name (The Drift Inn). The service is only three stars as I had to keep asking for for condiments during my stay as they never got stocked up. Oh and the WiFi is hit and miss good luck with that. Rooms: 4
