Our experience in no way resembles the reviews (except the most recent). Indifferent sourcing and cooking a terrible wine list. A huge disappointment. And expensive too. Best to avoid.

Nice staff, well situated just a supershort walk from the main walkway. Seems to be a bit of a local place. Ok pizza and a nice pasta dish even though it was not what I thought it would be rather I got octopus.

Siamo stati in gruppo e abbiamo avuto del tempo libero, così abbiamo deciso di mangiare qui a pranzo, il personale molto cordiale e disponibile, il pranzo era quello che mi aspettavo e delizioso, consiglierei questo posto.

Sto cercando il titolo giusto per la mia recensione. Questo ristorante sembra un caffè, ma il cibo è buono. Penso che sia cucina indiana della regione, ma tutto è costato bene e il servizio era cordiale... ed efficiente. C'erano anche clienti abituali che mi hanno portato a questa conclusione. Lo consiglierei, come consiglierei ristoranti con cucina casalinga, piuttosto che all'avanguardia. Abbiamo tutti apprezzato il nostro pasto, anche se non eravamo sicuri al 100% di cosa avessimo ordinato. Ci tornerei; il nostro conto corrispondeva a tutti gli altri pasti che avevamo a Venezia - penso che avrei preferito pagare un po' di meno.

Abbiamo avuto una cena fantastica all'Al Fontego dei Pescatori. Il cocktail di gamberi era diverso e fresco. Ho preso le risate, il mio uomo ha preso i pittari di pollo. Mentre il cibo era eccellente, il cameriere Adrianna è stato un punto forte. Il loro ambiente divertente e leggero. La decommissione del mio mannes toscano ha reso la nostra serata indimenticabile. Il personale era molto cordiale e ha persino viziato il mio uomo con il suo caffè preferito dopo cena, un cappuccino. Anche se non era nel menu, hanno seguito con entusiasmo le sue istruzioni. La nostra ultima cena a Venezia è stata indimenticabile. Inoltre, tutti questi cibi gustosi erano ragionevolmente costosi.

We found this place by mistake, as the restaurant that we intended to go to was fully booked. The waiter recommended that we tried this place instead and I'm so glad he did! It was quite quiet do not be put off by this,...it must be due to location rather than quality of food. We had the calamari, which was delicious, very well cooked with a light and crispy batter. We also enjoyed the wine, beer and a beautiful side dish of carciofi! The desserts were very good too. We thought it was quite reasonably priced considering the quality of the food and prices of other nearby restaurants. Wonderful service and quality food. We made an early reservation for dinner at 6:30 pm as we were heading to airport early the next morning. Warm greeting by staff and were served in a welcoming slow timeframe as we requested. Appetizer of prosciutto and melon,...although not original, was excellent. Lovely bottle of dry Soave Blanco with our meal of pork cutlet with lemon and mixed grilled seafood was perfect. All cooked to order and done well. This was our second trip to this restaurant. On our first visit, 7 years ago, we had an amazing experience, hence deciding to return to celebrate my 50th Birthday in Venice. We pre-booked a table, and were surprised to find the restaurant half empty on...a Saturday evening. We both ordered a raw fish starter, of mixed seafood, costing 25 Euros each.
