This cozy little pub exudes a charming countryside atmosphere and offers a beautiful, peaceful setting. The service was good, the food was decent, and there were plenty of beer choices available. family and I visited the alford arms for a birthday party. a advertised king prawn starter served as 4 small garnels, not larger than a £1 coin, some irregularly chopped pieces gurke and a bit bag salat. the baked goat cheese. starter came as a couple of chopped pieces of cheese with several burned crooks; dry as the teufels nails. the mains were tasteless. desserts appeared shop purchased. very disappointed, we will not return.

After I had a previous bad experience in this beautiful pub, I had hoped it might be one. I was wrong. my family and I were extremely underwhelmed with the standard of food served us! I would go so far that the king was insulting. While I went to the gents for a break in the festivities, I noticed that several plaques decorated the walls that the alford weapons as prize-winning. Unfortunately this appeared to end in 2019. I remember when I was in agreement with these accusations, but on the basis of today's offers I would no longer agree! Visualizza piatti
