AMANO Bistro - Menu

Very good food and service. Good price/quality. We very much enjoyed the goat cheese crème brûlée, the sallad and the pulled pork burger, but the roast beef was even better. ????

While relaxing at the Amano Bistro, we enjoyed the sites of the people coming and going from the Train Station The food was excellent, the service even better Simon was a delightful server

Stayed at the hotel and have always been reticent to eat in hotels but really pleased that I ate here. The food was amazing. We had the Chicken with lentils and the fish with gnocci. Absolutely great.

I love the story of the photographs on the walls.. they feature all of the owners and staff of the Amano is various rock n roll style, black and white, looking straight out of a fashion magazine. This bistro has been rated as one of the best in Germany. Definiately one of the better places to eat in Berlin!

We arrived about 16h00 needing a quick bite to eat. Upon enquiring with the unfriendly waitress, we were told that the kitchen is closed. After some more questioning we learnt that the kitchen of this 'Bistro' is open from 12h00 to 14h00 only and 'sometimes' in the evening after 18h00, although she was not quite clear what 'sometimes' meant. Won't be back!

We stayed at this hotel. About 30 minutes before closing of the bistro we went in for a cup of tea. When we entered and were looking for a seat someone came up to us and asked "can I help you with something?". We said that we would like two cups of tea. This was not possible because the coffee machine was already cleaned. We never realized that porring hot water from a coffee machine would make it dirty again.

Randomly ended up here for dinner with a few friends when we visited Berlin this week due to its proximity to the main station.The food was excellent..presentation and taste. Everything tasted amazing! The chef was very calm and friendly even though the place was busy and he seemed to be the only person in the kitchen. Thumbs up Definitely will be back for more next time I'm in Berlin.The only thing that I would have liked to see done differently was the service...the service was average and the waitress seemed overwhelmed by having to serve multiple tables.Overall it was a very pleasant experience and you better believe I'll be back

This bistro serves very nice Mediterranean food. Amuse bouche, starter and main were all superb - no complaints! (Although the menu was very light in its description and had I known there was olives in the sauce I wouldn't have ordered it!) Unfortunately, the service was appalling. We were greeted by a strained smile and as soon as our waitress/barmaid realised we didn't speak much German, the service thereafter that was non-existent. It ruined the meal. Needs to be severely improved as this will put off many tourists! The saving grace was the chef, who on our departure, gave a large smile and thanked us for coming. The server could learn a thing or two from the chef in customer service.

I cannot put into words how good this place is, but I'll try.....On the surface the design is impressive and stylish. However, it's a very comfortable place and the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed.We got served by Sorin. He was really friendly and fun but also informative. He also gave us time to consider choice and was really relaxed.On the menu was 5 choices of meal and also some light bites. Everything sounded good.I had the Iberico Pluma and my partner had Lemon chicken. I have eaten at Michelin Star restaurants which were not anywhere as good as this place.
