Ambrosius - Piatti

2nd time in Ambrosios and we love it. Friendly staff, nice draft beer and homemade traditional German food. Highly recommend. And they accept credit card.

A short walk from our hostel, this restaurant had delicious food at a fair price, and very large portions, I was very satisfied and would highly recommend.

We ate here twice on a recent trip, and my partner - who was raised by a German mother and grandmother - absolutely loved the food. The place is small but reassuringly busy, and we were served promptly and well. The focus is on the food, and we couldn't have enjoyed it more.

Sono stato qui a cena con la mia famiglia e nonostante alcune difficoltà a farci capire da una cameriera, pur parlando in inglese, abbiamo trovato tutto molto buono, nulla da dire di negativo. Ci rimangerei sicuramente. Mi è piaciuto molto anche l'ambiente rustico ma accogliente.

We were only in Berlin for two nights and found this restaurant on the last (unfortunately!) We had a lovely dinner with first class food and wine and immaculate service. The menu is extensive with plenty of local dishes for the traveller to sample. Thoroughly recommended and will use again if we get the chance. Visualizza piatti

Fantastic unpretentious traditional German fare! The pot roast with red cabbage and potatoes was spot on. I will return tomorrow to try the cabbage rolls. My dining companion and I ordered 2 dinners and 3 half liters of their own brewery beers for a total of 40 euros. Go and you will find a real, German home cooked meal.

Stayed at Sheraton, across park and just past corner this place was crowded. Saw some people from our tour, invited to join, found extra chairs and a very tight squeeze but worth it. excellent schweinbraten (10.90 E), Jagerschnitzel (13.90 E), wine by the full glass (5.90 E). Good food, service and worth the noisy crowded area. We will go back.

Located just around the corner from the Sheraton Berlin Grand Hotel Esplanade, we chose Ambrosius because it was close to the hotel. After a day of sightseeing and crowds, it provided unexpected peace and quiet, a wonderful spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy excellent food and service. Serving authentic German dishes, we enjoyed a very pleasant couple of hours over schnitzel and sauerbraten and our waitress, who did not speak English, couldn't do enough for us. Visualizza piatti
