"Have eaten here regularly over the years. Had our starters okay but when I started eating my chicken badam pasanda I realised it wasn't the correct dish. It was a very dark colour and was quite spicy not like the creamy dish it should be. This is my favourite dish which I always have there. It definitely wasn't a badam pasanda which is made with coconut milk and is very mild and creamy with cashews in. This was dark with raisins in. Told the waiter, who took the meal away, then the head waiter/manager approached and was quite rude telling me I was wrong and it was a badam pasanda. He even marched to the kitchen and brought my plate back out and argued it was the correct dish. My daughter has had this dish and agreed this was definitely not the said dish, so I declined the offer of a different meal as my husband was half way through his by this time. Not apologetic at all, was made to feel very uncomfortable. This happened on our last visit a few months ago and I was given the correct meal after it was sent back. Couldn't believe it happened again and was told it was the correct dish! Lost our custom, won't be visiting ever again."

My husband and I visited here for the first time on a busy Saturday night. I had a king prawn bhuna and my husband had chicken tikka dry with balti sauce, considering it was busy the dishes were served promptly with a friendly smile. We will definitely be back!

We have been going here for years, always have a fresh tasting meal ,we have tried other Indian restaurants ,but we always say that we should have gone to the Anarkarli, we just looked for curiosity at reviews we were shocked to see bad ones ,it can be very busy there ,I dont write reviews usually, but felt obliged as we love eating here

Called here tonight, drove from Gorseinon to Swansea to collect passing multiple take aways, food was nice ordered £30 of food not 1 free pomadom, Disappointing not the word, when will they learn to give a pomadom to keep people happy, £30 quid of grub and the travel 8 miles.. unfortunately they will get a 3.. pomadom not even 10p for them, right and mean..

12 of us visited for a night out……..the place seemed clean and the service was ok but the food was hit and miss. Good starters, huge onion bajis, great rice and nan breads…..then it sort of goes all wrong….mint yoghurt had no mint, all the mains, and we had several different ones, all looked and tasted the same, hard to tell a vindaloo from a jalfrezi from a madras. Not good.

Came here as a last minute meal as couldn't decide where to eat. Lovely meal as ever. Good starters, samosas, prawn puri (tender and not overcooked) and a rich chicken chat. We had a new Kochi dish with fried onions on top, with a biryani (with a lovely vegetable sauce). Vegetarian daughter had a paneer dish which she loved. Really good food, place very clean and the waiter very pleasant and chatty. Really recommend!

The goa chicken I ordered looked alright, but the big black pube that ran through the pilau rice put me off trying. I was just glad I saw it in on the plate and was spared having to pick out of my teeth. You'd think that finding something so disgusting in your food would have prompted an enormous PR offensive from the management, and for them to not charge for the meal, if not the table (of just 2 people). They didnt even give an apology. I'm minded that a friend of mine won't go there because its unhygienic, and think that with dozens of other Indians in Swansea, I couldn't see me going back there in a million light years.

Called here tonight to order and collect a take away there were 2 orders myself and a friend, when I ordered mine I ordered my friends asked for badjee starter which normally would come with a mint sauce sometimes salad my friend doesn’t like mint sauce so asked for a mango chutney instead and I was told no the onion badjee comes with mint sauce, I could not believe my ears it’s the same size pot just a different item. 8 of us ate here on Thursday night the meal was lovely so wanted a take away tonight, I cancelled the order as the guy that toke the order was pathetic just done themselves out of a £50 order because they wouldn’t change the dipping sauce.. well we eat plenty of curries and th...

"I have been wanting to visit here for ages but the stars have never aligned until Saturday. We were extremely lucky to get a walk in for the two of us. We were greeted by the owner and shown to a table. As we didn't have any drinks with us Peter suggested Tesco a few doors down and I was able to grab a bottle to enjoy with the meal. The service was wonderful and friendly and it felt like we had been going there for years, with just the right amount of care and advice. The food was exceptional from start to finish. We had the chicken satay and spring rolls to start and they were beautiful. The satay was amazing and was much darker in colour than any I have had before, but much better in flavour than any I have had before, I would definitely have these again. For main I had a chicken rendang and my wife ordered gule monkfish. The rendang was again perfect for my tastes. Spicy but flavourful with a generous portion that would satisfy the majority of eaters. I would have had seconds, even though I was stuffed because it was so good. I can't comment too much on the monkfish as I have a dislike of seafood, but my wife raved about it and said she's having the same again next time without question. So I think that sums it up. We finished with deserts of a rice pudding dish I think was called bubar, which was black rice and coconut, and the second dish we ordered was a Banana coconut pancake to which I forget the name. Again I couldn't find fault if I tried another 10 out of 10. At the end of the meal we met owner and chef Ami, who came to chat. It was lovely speaking to the owners and their passion for the food and customer service was clear. We cannot wait until our next visit"
