"would they believe that this restaurant earlier is called rogue trader before the financial crisis! near canary wharf, it could have been in the fashion, a villainous trader, but if the regulatory began to crack their whip on bankers; very wise the restaurant changed it name to aniseed! the restaurant is small and not many people prefer dune, but take it with. the menu has almost every dish that can be found in a typical Indian restaurant, nothing extraordinary. Therefore it is not surprising that the good dishes are also the typical English favorite tikka and balti dishes. if they don't want to get on a dude, they try the more out for a change."

Had the Lamb Tikka Marsala along with the lemon rice and garlic nan. Also had a yummy mango lasie.

The behavior of the waitress is very poor and rude. It seems like the owner does not care. That's why my review is also not good.

The food here is great and the staff friendly. However recently they seem to be short staffed and tend to give a preference to online orders deliveries rather than the customers sat at the tables.

service was good and price is appropriate. but eating was not at the top. felt like some of them were bought from island and microwave. it was not an authentic Indian cuisine. different from visiting again.

I had a fantastic dining experience. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. This restaurant serves authentic South Asian cuisine, some of the most delicious I've ever tasted. I highly recommend checking it out!

Food was average, the staff are lovely apart from the manager/owner who is very rude and abrupt, second time trying this place out and was not impressed, thought maybe first time because they where busy the customer service was bad but even when the place was quiet, still the same service. Lime bar restaurant next door is much better!

after work I needed a light bite around the canary wharf before I discovered aniseed. I didn't have Indians since the return in, so I thought it was great to get something better than home. lambskin rogan the meat is tender and the sauce is good, although to tomato y for my dear personally. pretty spicy, which is good, but nothing to write to home. gips reis I couldn't believe how big the rice is. 2.25 I think it was for hardly anything. The size was good, but there weren't enough garlic taste. hasn't done much for me. a total disappointing introduction to the Indian cuisine in london. to the next place I think.
