I picked this place for my birthday dinner because I love it! Staff is friendly, food is completely authentic and amazingly delicious. I always try to get the mussels in white wine sauce, because YUM. Pizza is good, but you can get good pizza at...lots of places. You cannot, however, get good mussels and amazing bruschetta just anywhere

Among many apartments is the restaurant on the corner that I've walked by for a couple of years. Another parent from school recommended the place and so we went. Decided to try based on some reviews though it was not close to my hotel. Located on a side street in a neighborhood, it is an unassuming local place. An outside seating section streetside with a dining room inside. Clean and well kept. The main...waitress maybe the chef's wife? was a bit gruff in a typical German way...though she is Italian : and wasn't too thrilled to be helping an English speaker as she did not speak English, so she called for the chef, who did speak English. I tried to explain to her that Italian food is the same in English, but I wasn't quick enough.
