We stayed for 2 nights at the Anzac Bistro. The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the service was excellent. The evening meal was very good and the breakfasts were great. Positioned right in the centre of Dartmouth, the bistro was perfect for our weekend visit.

We had dinner, this evening, three courses each, all were fabulous, top quality ingredients , high presentation, great ambience, with a French twist, very friendly, welcoming, we spent all evening over our meal, the table was ours for the evening, creating a very calm relaxing atmosphere, we will be back. I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while searching for another nearby. The food was excellent and the personal service was top-notch - the chef even came out to confirm the level of spiciness I wanted in my curry. My partner had the sea bass and said it was the best he had ever had. The atmosphere was very friendly and cozy. I would definitely recommend this place. Visualizza piatti

We dined here Saturday evening, probably our 4th holiday visit over the past few years. I had the fish stew and my wife the goats cheese salad with smoked duck. Both were pretty good, the service was friendly and attentive and although it was Saturday and busy there were no lengthy delays with ordering or service. If I’m being a bit picky with fish stew and messy tiger prawns a finger bowl or wet wipe would have been useful. We will probably be back again next year.

A group of four (two couples) enjoyed a delicious meal at the AZB restaurant on a Friday night. The service was very attentive and we all ordered different main dishes (fish stew, chicken curry, rib eye, and sea bass), all of which were well-balanced and well-cooked. We agreed with a previous review about the need for a finger bowl with the fish stew, which we did not receive. The wines (an Italian red and rose) were also very good and reasonably priced. Overall, it was excellent value for money and we had a lovely evening. We will definitely be returning.

This is a hidden gem, we went for dinner on Friday night and then booked again for Saturday night. It is a small bistro with a small menu but there is usually a fish special and a dessert special and we found enough choice. The food is really good I had the curry and my husband had the sea bream special on the first night both were cooked well and were delicious. The second evening I had the steak and my husband had the venison both were excellent. Both evening we had the chocolate fondant which was sublime and my husband had the special treacle tart which he said was excellent. We can’t recommend this place enough! Visualizza piatti
