"Beautiful artisan coffee shop, it does have strangely positioned yet comfortable seating, lovely homemade bread which you can choose a number of toppings to add. It’s a beautiful warm haven to shelter from the bitter winter cold! We ordered a non-alcoholic fruit-punch, hot chocolate and...a shared a snack of freshly cooked bread topped with chicken curry, (similar to the English coronation chicken). Please note you can ask for toppings. I cannot stress how tasty everything was, it’s a must visit even if it’s more of a mid-range price. I’d class this as a divine and friendly hideaway, it’s full of trendy folk and tourists, unfortunately there’s no Wi-Fi, the loos are flights underground, however, staff are friendly. Seating is on the limited side, It’s extremely popular so be prepared to share a table, wait, or perch against the bar."

if you want to enjoy warm bread with various dips and quality cakes..this is the place. the munich one is a small version compared to the big one at tegernsee (lake tegern). fantastic service and warm ambiance.

I visited the Aran cafe for a good cup of coffee but as soon as I entered the place I saw this cake and I tried, also I changed my coffee for a good chocolate belgian style. The staff is attentive and speak english, a...must for mid-afternoon stop.

I loved the cheesecake chocolate delicious, also the chai latte , the idea of the cafe shop is different then others you can stand anywhere near the tables to have your coffee , seems like lounges haha , also the service is good the are...friendly.

Kinda lame to correct someones prouncation of espresso by laughing at them in another language with another customer trying to be pathetically cool. Sorry i understand german and you just look young and rude. Blond girl unnameless not impressed. Coffee was sour and over roasted.....Bitter if you know coffee. Go to man vs machine

Aran cafe has a great atmosphere in the heart of Munich. I can be very selective when it comes to iced-coffees, but I give this cafe my tick of approval. I also ordered a small pastry to go with my drink. One can sit indoors...or outdoors to soak in the beautiful Munich atmosphere. Travellers can order in English when going to this cafe.

What a great coffee and sandwich shop with both healthy open sandwiches and great cakes for a treat. My wife and I stumbled over this after visiting the Residenz and looking for something for a healthy lunch nearby. The staff were very helpful and spoke...good English. The food was fresh and tasty and there was a wide selection of options. Great artisan coffee. Seating inside is limited but shared tables outside in mall.

Location is great, design is awesome, pricing is fair, choice is good and service was ... I pride myself in being a super coffee afecionado, a black belt coffee enthusiast, so to say. A biased overselfconfident customer, difficult type. But my experience on that day...was a great disappointment, reasons: the product I got served was **** AND when I complained politely, I got a scruffy reply, like I have bo glue ... and that is the disappointing part of it

Wonderfull coffee and apple cake enjoyed in this cool-feeling, cool-looking coffee/bread cafe. Funky interior with high tables and low stools I worked out that the stools are for your feet to balance on while resting the butt hocks on leatherette wall poles while you...sip, sook and slurp your coffee and cake. Outside seating and tables (conventional style and heights) if you prefer. Aran is bread in gaelic language, which they'd translated into a myriad of other languages across the walls and windows kept me amused while I tried to balance on my butt hocks while I sipped, sooked and slurped!
