"What has happened to this place? It used to be okay. We reserved a table (asked to leave early because of additional sitting in the pm) and ordered fondue terrible, separated and globular. All three. The children couldn’t eat theirs because of the texture....Bread came uncut in a basket and we had to keep ordering more why not just bring out enough bread for three fondues? The salads du Ruvine is good the only good thing on the menu. Children’s meals are rubbish nuggets or spaghetti...truly not a good restaurant with poor service and inedible food. Great view."

"En famille, nous avions un réservé une table pour 4 dont 3 adultes dans ce sympathique restaurant, situé a 2 min à pied de la gare. Ambiance chaleureuse, dans ce chalet à l'intérieur tout de bois et de pierre. Le personnel est sympathique et prévenant, avec un service rapide et efficace. Au menu, rösti et fondue sont de traditions, suggérés en différentes variantes. Pour les amateurs de steack et de poissons, à la carte c'est également possible. Carte des vins restreinte mais plutôt locale. En entrée, les salades vertes ou mêlées, sauce maison, copieuse avec du pain rustique et gourmand. Rösti sauce champignons, et avec œuf miroir, fondue moitié-moitié avec un vin blanc d'Aigle. Le tout est servi avec générosité. Pour la facture, si vous ne voulez pas vous ruiner, commandez plutôt local et comptez 50-60 CHF par personne, sans le dessert. Pour les courageux, les desserts sont maison. Un très bon moment."

"A warm welcome, a nice entry in matter with a staff full of humor and comfortable. foie gras intake mixed with mango and honey. exquisite. entrance of St-jacques and gambas marinated with peaches ceviche, served in a cocktail glass, fresh, tasteful, surprising. fabulous tuna medallion. idem for risotto with gambas flambées à l'anis. small flat for tarare, a little too acid (ketchup or something?) otherwise raw meat was tender. No place for dessert unfortunately. 10 tables maxi, so quiet atmosphere. park places in front of the restaurant"
