"“The painting is not where we think it is” You wander through the streets of Pont-Aven, from stores to boutiques and other galleries, because this village is renowned for being that of painters and its cake. The time is coming when we need to eat! The choice of restaurants is impressive, but if you want to eat in peace and respect quality, know how to leave this place and head towards Nizon, there you will find an inn where you will enjoy yourself. From the city center to this inn, 2.5 km separate you from a perfect dinner. A beautiful building facing the church extends its arms to you; walk through the door of this establishment and your eye will be drawn to its warm and friendly atmosphere. A smile and courtesy are required in this inn; around twenty places in a pleasant setting, with a particularity, certain decorations can be purchased. Proposals of 2 formulas in addition to the menu, of course. We opt for a lunch menu, 2 dishes, plus a coffee, for one and the option of returning from fishing and a dessert for the second, all washed down with a glass of white wine recommended by the owner. I won't tell you about my starter, a plate of tapasses (a treat); but of our two dishes: Grilled sardines on lemon and garlic butter, Hake a la plancha accompanied by coconut cream risotto and seasonal vegetables. You know the term delicious, here we are talking about sublime, refined and quality cuisine. A treat for our taste buds! Our fish and its accompaniments are unsuspectingly fresh and cooked to perfection, or the seasonings are just right and deserve no judgment. I won't tell you about dessert, French toast on a bed of caramel and vanilla ice cream; a “killing”, nothing to do with what we know You will have a more than pleasant and relaxing time, because you leave this establishment with regret and the feeling that you must come back more often.
