A delicious Easter meal, a big thank you girls we are as usual feasted. Our cousin from Swiss fine mouth, and rather demanding to adore this meal. We have accompanied it with a delicious Deguenne Damien champagne, washed praise, will be vintage, which has sublimated your dishes, a true gustative perfection.

Jonchery sur Vesles is a small village a few Km from where we are staying. We went on the recommendation of our host and TripAdvisor. The food was a very pleasant surprise. Entree and mains were well presented and absolutely delicious. The waitress used the modicum of English she possessed to guide us through the menu. Very friendly, patient and helpful. This has been the best meal we have had in our week in the Champagne area. At 70 Euros for the two of us, we think it is great value. We can recommend it without hesitation.

We popped along to this restaurant on a sleepy Tuesday there were about four other tables of customers. Our waitress was very nice (and fortunately for us, spoke very good English! . We had a range of starters including traditional escargot, plus a local speciality of eggs poached with ham (which was served with a lovely smoked salmon for me, as I don't eat meat .
