"We have been twice here for a drink in the morning after a long walk The first thing you need to know is that very few restaurants/ bars have prices for drinks displayed so you have no idea how much you will be charged. It's a lottery. You might assume a price based on the look of a place or its location but it doesn't always follow. We walked past the balcon when we first came across it thinking it looked expensive and ended up in an Asian restaurant looking onto the beach where we got charged 6.70 euros for a large beer and a cup of coffee!! Next time we tried the balcon. We had a lovely view in the open air but shaded and for the same drinks we paid 4.90 euros. The waiter was lovely and it was so relaxing looking out over the bay with the Maspalomas Dunes in the background. We returned again and this time added a glass of white wine to our order. A large glass was 3.50 euros. This is very reasonable compared to some of the prices we have been charged in down market bars on the beach at playa del ingles. Reward honesty, beautiful views and a friendly waiter and visit the Balcon de San Agustin"

Had bad food reaction to their king prawns as they were not cleaned properly before been cooked. Symptoms appeared 1 hour after eating them and I had red skin rushes and red bumps on my legs and belly. My friend also ordered steak and asked for well done steak, but they cooked it rare to medium. Overall not a pleasant experience, But the views are nice. I will not go back at this restaurant.
