"The food is really good and the prices are fairly low for Thai food. The menu itself is pretty similar for different types of meat and fish, but maybe this is just the basics of Thai cuisine? Starters are great like the Bangkok mixed plate,...and you can't go wrong with the soups. My favorite dish is the Bhed Pad Phrik Bai Krapauw, duck with chilis and garlic which is served with rice for only euro 14,90. Strange enough this is not a very busy restaurant. The restaurant itself is maybe not the nicest around, but it does look clean inside. The staff is really friendly and helpful which is around Oberhausen in restaurants a thing which is hard to find. Bangkok restaurant is close to Oberhausen main railway station, which takes you by bus or tram to Centro Trypp Hotel) within 10 minutes. NH hotel is just around the corner, couple of minutes walking distance. A must try when you stay in Oberhausen."

the personal and the eating were excellent. we liked the location very much. the prices are slightly above the average for Thai food in oberhausen. but for me it's okay. we'll be back.

Bangkok is a quiet nice restaurant about 4 km from the promenade in Oberhausen. The service is quick and gracious by Thailand waiters. The quality lacks. The noodle dish I've ordered was too soggy !

In open, Asian atmosphere, you can enjoy autthentic Thai food in centre of of Oberhausen. Personnel was very friendly and relaxed, despite she was the only one serving due to unforeseen circumstances. The menus they serve have a large variety and give similar experience we...have from Thailand.

We've been here for a team dinner. The choice from the menu is wide (maybe too much), but the quality is not wonderfull. Just decent. The waiters prentend to speak English, but she doesn't and there where some misunderstandings. I'll not come back, bacyse it...was too expensive for the quality and the quantity.

an overall very good experience. I don't know how authentic the dishes can be called (deficient experience,) but eating tastes great and the prices are ok: 52€ for a menu for 2 people: starter, 4 main dishes and a desert (or coffee/tea) spicyness. is displayed in the menu and fits to the set for someone who is not a little adapted to spicy food. personal is very friendly
