"I recently discovered the Redgarth, a fantastic restaurant run by Stuart and his team. From the moment you arrive, Stuart ensures that your experience is top-notch. The Cherry room I stayed in was immaculately clean and had great amenities, including a "loo with a view," a luxurious shower and bathroom, a comfortable bed, and daily housekeeping. The continental breakfast was delicious and the evening atmosphere in the bar was pleasant. I highly recommend this place for anyone in the area - 5 stars to Stuart and his team!"

"Dining is at present in the new Ballroom due to the Pineapple restaurant closure for Covid 19 restrictions. This in no way detracts from the dining pleasure. Tables are well spaced out. The staff are plentiful, polite and extremely helpful. Food as usual was excellent. Altogether a fabulous dining experience. We had booked to return but sadly Covid 19 forces closure I can easily recommend booking."

"We called to report these issues immediately and were informed that the restaurant was using a taxi service that evening because their regular driver was working in the kitchen. We were promised that someone would call us back that night or the next day to discuss the situation. However, no one ever called. After waiting four days, we called back only to be told they were closed and it wasn’t a good time to talk. Once again, we were promised a call back the next day, but you guessed it—no one called. So we contacted them again this evening, and the person my wife spoke with was completely unhelpful. They were unapologetic, spoke over my wife, and refused to take any responsibility for the situation. We weren't looking for anything free; we just wanted to give a restaurant we had supported for years a chance to make things right. Instead, we were met with excuses, hostility, and a deep sense of disappointment."

"The surroundings are gorgeous, service was good alas there was quite a delay in receiving our food due to how busy the dining room was. We were advised that because there was a backlog in the kitchen meals were taking longer to come out. The cave bar is lovely, but it was cold, the door is close to reception, and with lots of guests arriving to attend a wedding, the draft through the bar meant that jackets had to be left on. Service and food was great."

"Exemplary afternoon tea thoroughly enjoyed at Meldrum House Hotel! Considering the uneasy circumstances we currently find ourselves in, visiting any location socially can feel overwhelming just now, however it was clear upon arrival that this venue had taken great care and spent much time covering all aspects of health and safety while not taking away the purpose of our visit, which was to enjoy catching up with a friend over an afternoon tea. The staff were wearing masks and they had a sanitisation spray pump at reception which we used upon arrival.The afternoon tea was faultless, and the presentation was outstanding. The cakes were not only beautiful to look at but also tasted as good as they looked! Definitely picture worthy!!The staff were friendly and attentive and were always on hand to top up tea and coffee and generally just checking everything was ok. The atmosphere was relaxed and all tables socially distanced yet not detracting from the experience at all.we enjoyed our afternoon tea and walk round the grounds. Stunning location, great service and fabulous food! Will definitely be back very soon, thank you"
