"our evening in the bejte ethiopia is one of our most unforgettable restaurant visits with great probabilities. we ordered the vegan plate and already after a short zeot we regret to have set ourselves to a normal table and not one of the woven round tables. the restaurant owner explained to us that the tables are woven in ethiopia there by women and adapted to the plate shape. the food itself was incredibly good. from kartoffeln, lentils, green cabbage to a sweetly sharp bree tasted everything excellent. the various feeds were shoved with a acidified pancake, resulting in a diverse combination of tastes that could only be surpassed by combining the various feeds on the plate. but also here we kept too hesitant and did not shove enough on a pancake piece, which is why there was no longer enough pancakes for the feeds. we got two more pancakes immediately, with the discreet note to load these big 7g more. done and full of shame, we had to find that the first two pancakes were good enough. at the end of the evening we ordered another Ethiopian coffee, which was amazingly pleasant although black. salted popcorn was added and a service power explained to us that one can drink a coffee of 2 5 people and discusses problems. we also tried this successfully under the influence of this invigorating drink. to the conclusion we were given a schnapps that went on cost of the house. updated from previous review on 2021 09 12"

We had a big vegan plate for 4 persons and it was really delicious, we all enjoyed the food.

Delicious vegan food and great portions! I got the number 22 vegan platter for two people to share . It’s absolutely delicious. Highly recommended Ethiopian food!

eating was good, the staff was pretty nice, but I had better Ethiopian cuisine in a warmer atmosphere before. I usually leave these kinds of restaurants filled. I could have eaten more this time. unfortunately they had no vegan dessert. updated by previous review on 2021-12-04

bejte äthiopien is a medium-sized restaurant in Schöneberg. the allergens are marked for each dish on the menu, which allows to decrypt what is vegan. I still recommend asking to be sure. I was there with friends and we all ordered different things. a pretty big minus for me is how long it took to get our food. the restaurant was not almost full and it took 30 minutes for five main dishes. eating was good, but nothing extraordinary. something I really liked was the interior design. it was dark and cozy and full of Ethiopian decorations.
