I made a reservation through their website, which was cheaper than using a third-party site, but there's a reason for that low price. The room felt unclean, and we ultimately decided not to stay and drove home instead. The rooms appear to have last been updated in the 1970s. Rating: Rooms: 1, Location: 3.

Only stayed one night. The rooms are somewhere to rest your head. I found the two male reception staff very rude and unwelcoming, however the female we met was lovely and very engaging. If nothing else available I would stag again. On the plus they are dog friendly. Rooms: Dated but with loads of space. Walkability: Very close to the local pubs, restaurants and dog walking area. Awful, just awful Rooms: Not a good experience at all. Filthy room, Kettle full of mould, woke up in the morning and realised we were unable to use, so no hot drink. Window sill filthy, cigarette butts left by others who have obviously smoked in the room. Toilet seat was hanging off the toilet and the beds were lumpy, hard and very uncomfortable The walls were newspaper thin, so all guests could be heard going to their rooms throughout the night. From the moment I entered the location, I could see that things were not quite right. The staff was very kind, but unfortunately in terms of cleanliness, things are not going well. The carpet on the stairs leading to the rooms is terribly dirty and in the rooms you can see cobwebs. A simple walk to the bathroom can be conclusive on the cleanliness , on socks gathered hairs from more than 5 people who were probably accommodated before me. The chili chicken, advertised as “crispy chicken,” was merely bland chunks of chicken smothered in a mildly spicy sauce. The naan bread was dry and lacking in flavor, with some cheese that looked like it had barely melted on top. Additionally, the rice portions were hardly filled, barely covering half of the container. The curries were underwhelming—bland, small portions, and the chicken appeared unseasoned. The makhani curry tasted more like Heinz tomato soup than anything flavorful, completely missing the mark. Overall, the meal felt very amateurish. It’s a shame, as the staff were friendly and welcoming, and based on other reviews, the food might be better when enjoyed in the restaura...
