"We went here as a group of 12 for lunch. The food was really good so no complaints on that side. We turned up at 12pm and didn't leave until after 3pm (over 3 hours) as the service was extremely slow. We were told it was because we hadn't pre-ordered, but there were many other tables that also hadn't pre-ordered, so I don't accept this as a good excuse. It's a shame as it's close to our office and would have liked to use again, but just can't afford to take that much time over lunch."

We were seated and rushed out within 45 minutes! The starters and main courses were served at the same time, and they didn't even have basic spirits available! It was a waste of money, and I was thoroughly disappointed.

Despite the restaurant being fully booked, the staff and kitchen managed everything seamlessly! Our group of seven was well taken care of. It's a shame that the menu was changed and some of our favorite dishes were removed.

excellent meal, possibly the best of 2022. kinks down in the crypt with a fabulous host who was happy to run up and down and take care of their guests. the beetroot and feta salad starter was perfect as the main dishes of lachs and burger. the free cocktails were a real bonus! by recommended.

Had a good evening at Bills our waiter was very good and no complaints about the quality of the food and drink which was very good. We did have a long wait for our food as our order somehow got lost and it looked like other diners were also waiting a long time so something needs to be fixed. Would still recommend.

"We found ourselves in Guildford at the end of our mini-break and needed dinner. We wandered down Jeffries Passage and found Raviz. What a GEM of a restaurant. Honestly, the most gorgeous curries and Indian food we've ever had. Not bog-standard British versions of curries we've all eaten so many times over the years, but intricate, thoughtful flavours, absolute treat for the senses, so very delicious; with lots of lovely complimentary touches like the palette cleanser that came pre-dessert. Plus, we loved the decor front of house, so many lovely touches. If there was a tweak needed behind the scenes, perhaps the toilets needed a bit of an upgrade, and we did end up waiting longer than we thought for dessert (only because we needed to get back on the road home , but the food was divine and the staff so lovely. Compliments and Thanks to the Chef and all at Raviz. We would definitely make our way back to Guildford for another meal at Raviz. Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome there and the waiter helped us choose something suitable from the menu, but there isn't a kids menu (and there shouldn't be, it's not that kind of place . "I absolutely adore this place. It's the best coffee shop in Guildford. The coffee is fantastic and the service is top-notch. We dined in for lunch and the price per person was between £1-10. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a 5-star rating. I highly recommend trying the Baklava, as it's delicious. For vegetarians, there are plenty of clearly labeled options on the menu. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great coffee shop with vegetarian offerings."

"What makes an independently owned business different from a big name brand? The owner cares. They care alot and do their best to serve customers as if their livelihood depends upon it. Because it does! Freshly cooked delicious food. No fuss. Clean and well presented. No you wont get haut cuisine. But you will leave comfortably full and with a smile on your face. "Went with friends this week. Service was terrible. The lady serving us couldn’t have been less interested. Table booked for 20:15 and it was clear they wanted us out as soon as possible. Maybe the staff aren’t getting enough sleep as every staff member looked tired and indifferent. Asked for a panang and chicken and was surprised to see it wasn’t some they did. The first Thai restaurant in 30 years that doesn’t do it. The food that did come was dry and nor executed very well. Been in the past and remember it as good. Will definitely not be back."

"We opted for the Sharing Menu for Two, featuring a vegetarian selection and the chef's special picks, along with a Piña Colada—perfectly sweet, just the right balance. I also shared an Espresso Martini with a friend, and it was absolutely delicious! The meal started with a basket of pita and homemade bread, accompanied by tzatziki and aubergine cream. The bread was beautifully presented, and I also sampled the aubergine cream. I never expected such a fantastic combination! Next, we tried the Dolmadakia, which were delightful, and the feta filo fried cheese spring rolls drizzled with honey were a highlight—so tasty! The chicken tacos featured tender pork shreds that tasted incredibly fresh and full of flavor. I also enjoyed the Aubergine Imam; although I'm not usually a fan of onions, they were cooked down until soft and the sauce masked the onion's flavor quite well—not bad at all! The barbecue-glazed pork souvlaki was truly exceptional—definitely a 10/10! It was the perfect mix of sweet and savory. To finish off, I ordered dessert: a pistachio cake with cinnamon white chocolate sauce. I found it a bit too sweet for my taste; however, those who enjoy sweeter treats may want to give it a try.
