What a wonderful place. The filo pastries in honey and Greek salad we had to start are insane. The Greek pasta and pork skewers were also delicious. Also, the Hungarian waiter was so pleasant and look after us very well. I'm definitely going back. This restaurant easily serves the best food in Guildford’s city centre. It is let down only by the slightly too relaxed approach to service which is a feeling I am genuinely left with after every visit. The waiting staff are absolutely friendly but are slightly too relaxed and inattentive to tables. The food however could easily achieve a Michelin star. With more proactive service, the restaurant would be an easy five out of five. I would recommend for the food but would caveat the experience with a warning: you will find yourself chasing to order, have drinks topped up and for the bill no matter when you visit. We opted for the Sharing Menu for Two, featuring a vegetarian selection and the chef's special picks, along with a Piña Colada—perfectly sweet, just the right balance. I also shared an Espresso Martini with a friend, and it was absolutely delicious! The meal started with a basket of pita and homemade bread, accompanied by tzatziki and aubergine cream. The bread was beautifully presented, and I also sampled the aubergine cream. I never expected such a fantastic combination!
