Bistro du Coin.... Du Bout de la Rue.... Du Bout de la Place

We ate here with friends recently, and found it all very pleasant. The food was good, not a huge menu, but that is all to the best. Freshly prepared. Duck, fish, veal, seafood. All good. Not cheap, but where is. The puddings were acceptable as...well.

we had in the last 3 years meal times in the bistro du coin, but this year it was brilliant. the owners now keep some excellent beer to go with eating. I enjoyed the Rump-Steak twice in the week and had my wife. the skallops and the lamb, which were very well cooked and presented. enjoy the friendly society, host, eat and drink. will return.

Visited based on Lonely Planet recommendation but I cant say I was impressed. I had the French onion soup and steak tarte, and both were ok. My friend's mussels were excellent. The big disappointment was the 'poached pear icecream' I received a big...cup of icecream with pieces of poached pear a ton of cream and sprinkles! Basically a monstrosity. Service was hit and miss both in efficiency and friendliness

on the basis of the recommendation visited by lonely planet, but I cannot say that I was impressed. I had the french woof and steak tart, and both were okay. the muddles of my friend were excellent. the big disappointment was the poached pear ice cream' I received a large...copper ice cream with pieces poached birne a tonne of saw and fold! in the ground a monstrosity. service was met and miss both in efficiency and ease.

we eat here regularly and never eat that disappointed. it is a hearty French food that is always fresh and tasty. it is not a huge menu, but it changes regularly and in any case offers something for most taste with fish dishes, several meat dishes, different...Salads and often suppen in winter. the service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is large a large fireplace that is illuminated in the colder months, magnificent stone walls, pleasant decor. not stiff upper lip fantasy, just really beautiful and easy. one of my favorite places.

a wet Sunday meal in juli and we dived here to a) out of the rain and b) because they had one table, in the opposite to the first place we tried. what a happiness! a small bistro and bar that was packed, but we had a good greeting that we showed on our table. there is no menu, but tables are available with current ones. I chose the salatcampagnard and my partner chose the moule fries. even if there was no substitute seat at the place, our order was served quickly and surprisingly or eat within 10 minutes. this was probably the best salate I ever served with speck and cartoffel freshly cooked and still warm and the rest of the salat 2 hard boiled eggs, roasted crush, salat, carrot, gurke, ham...

We loved this place on arrival... quirky 1950s artwork on lovely stone walls and a very warm welcome. When the food arrived we all thought Wow but three out of the four of us were disappointed once we actually tucked into the food. It was...very much a case of style over substance. I ordered the Turbot, which was beautifully presented, but was in fact just a small piece of fish that was absolutely full of bones... it seemed more bone than fish. My partner was pleased with his Roquefort Beef Burger, but the other two members of our party were a bit underwhelmed by their beautifully presented meals too.
