I ordered a hamburger and had to wait min!! The price is too high for the quality of food and service that you get. Never again.

It's a nice place to meet with friends and chat. A lot of students are there, as it is on the movie academy campus. The food is not high quality, but the price is fine. They also have a bar and offer great breakfast.

Blauer Engel is located right next to the Filmakademie and is frequented by students often. Food is straight-forward, many meals under tastes good and the portion size is right. Good beer selection. We came for lunch, it wasn't very busy. Service was quick and...friendly. Visualizza piatti

Sitting outside, enjoying a beer and good food. You might need to bring a bit of time, esp. if the Engel is packed (which it often us did I mention how great the food is If you're in hurry it might not be the...best choice, but if if you have enough time to enjoy the visit you will.

After waiting minutes in a queue to be handled, the reply was that all the tables outside are taken ... although were free, and only a couple marked as reserved. Not the first time they do this. Lost us as customers, but it...is cheap enough to get other, so business will remain good.

The food at Blauer Engel is really nice, they have a variety between Schnitzel, self made pizza, maultaschen soup, pasta... The waiters are friendly, if you can get one to take your order. The drinks come after the food comes. Even if you order a...water or a beer. But they will come, just really takes time. Blauer Engel, and I think the angel is totally drunk sometimes, but it's always full and this means a wait sometimes but it's also a sign that it's worth the wait. Totally, everything one would want to have students to elderly and off the wall...folks are here. Sort of an off the grid place to eat. But, I like to come here with my soul mate and have a some conversation, food and drink. Highly. recommend the place for any size group or and reason while in Ludwigsburg otherwise go to the fast food place.

The servers are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is also quite good. Large selection for vegetarians. Nice atmosphere. And now, with the temperature dropping, the second room is for smokers, divided by a glass door and some large glass windows that are extremely, extremely...leaky. And the heating is shared by both rooms. So, even if you sit in the “non smoker” area, by the time you leave, you feel like you were among the smokers. Your clothes, your hair, everything is smoke “drenched”. We understand that Germany is a country of smokers, and restaurants don’t allow smoking, unless they provide a separate room, but the division between smokers and non-smokers is a joke. Sad, so sad! Been here twice: once for dinner and once for breakfast. Both times the food was excellent, piping hot, and generously portioned. The variety of the menu means there's something for everyone. The big patio out back with the glass exterior gives a great vibe to...the place, especially when they have the fire going in the winter. What holds this place back is the terrible service. Both times we had inattentive and SLOWWWWW waitresses. There is no reason it should take minutes just to get menus, let alone food and drinks. Trying to flag down a waitress to get your bill is an impossible task, and some of the servers make you feel like you're inconveniencing them by being there. It's really a sha... Visualizza piatti
