Block House Brunswick

It's not cheap, but steaks we have ordered were excellent, same as onion soup, almost like in Paris. Waiters were very nice. I totally recommend this place

nothing wrong with this restaurant; the choice was made by someone else. If you feel like steak that is a bit more upscale than Golden Corral, by all means go for it

Atmosphere is nice, staff is very kind and speak fluent english. Meat is of very good quality and side dishes are also very tasty. Little bit overpriced and noisy sometimes but it is worth the visit

we love the veggie plates here we do not eat meat but we love the veggie food here. very sad that the tomatoe soup is not available anymore the ginger and carrot soup was ugly! the service was not friendly we had to...wait long and there was not filled up

This was a favorite of mine while in Braunschweig! The salad is amazing as is the rest of the food! I have never had a bad meal here. Mrs. Rumpsteak with salad, bread and baked potato is super delicious! You can't go wrong. Their wine...list is yummy and affordable as well Visualizza piatti

I ate a T-bone steak yesterday. I ask for medium, and it was medium-well. I can live with that. The beer was fine (classic weizen). The salad was exactly like a soup (full of oil NOT eatable.. The t-bone steak all in all was...good, but in my opinion too expensive, and no, not the best. Too much fat in it.. and not as delicious as I tasted in other places

This is a place many people choose after they have been to the "Staatstheater" next door. The food is solid but not excellent. The steaks are good but don't rely that everything is cooked to perfection (e.g. the difference between, rare, medium rare and medium)....The interior has not changed for the last years. The salads and side riches are fresh and good. The service tries to be funny but is repeating the same jokes on every table. As I said in my rating it is a place you can choose but don't expect a gourmet restaurant

On a stroll round Braunschweig we noted the Block House restaurant as a possible venue for our evening meal and we were not disappointed when we entered the lively, welcoming ambiance. The waiters and waitresses had to work very hard, as the place was full...from p.m. both inside and outside and it was great to witness all the activity and the speed at which one of the waiters filled the salad bowls. We ordered a beer and iced water and then chose two mains from the extensive menu, namely a Mr. Rumpsteak dish containing of calf meat and a Fitness Pan consisting of crispy vegetables with juicy beef and spicy green pepper sauce.
