"We visited the Eberhardstrasse Block House on my 60th, and it's as good as ever. On a Monday evening, there was plenty of room, and a relaxed atmosphere. Didn't stop the servers moving like greased lightning, mind, but room enough for a party of 15, including kids, to be reserved, greeted and absorbed into the restaurant without any additional fuss or noise.The food was cooked as desired ('Englisch' is an awkward one to do well), of excellent quality and sufficient. The drinks menu has shrunk over the years, with only pilsner, weiss-bier or alcohol-free beer available, a small choice of wines and (Shock horror!) no Cointreau to go with my coffee. Still, it's a steak restaurant, not a biergarten.6 of us, with drinks, main and coffee, was €230, not bad for the quality and service. I guess I go there twice a year, and this experience keeps me faithful to them. Incidentally, note that the steak menu items include a salad starter, baked potato with sour cream and garlic bread, so it's a good place to start from..."

Wer ordentlich Fleisch in netter Umgebung essen will ist dort bestens aufgehoben. Sehr gutes Fleisch und auch eine sehr kompetente, freundliche Umgebung.

The menu was available in different languages and the staff was very friendly. The food came very fast and was of good quality. The location of the restaurant is also perfect. Prices were okay.

Nach dem Schock in Sophies Brauhaus kam ich daher und wurde diesmal sehr freundlich empfangen. Der Service von Miss Julia war wirklich Spitze! Aber auch das Essen mit einem Rumpsteak als Hauptgang war fein und preiswert.

Dopo aver letto qualche recensione abbiamo deciso di provare!Zuppa carote e zenzero con pane all'aglio buonissima! Filetto con patata ripiena insalatina e pezzo di pane all'aglio da leccarsi i baffi. Porzioni abbondanti. Ci hanno portato a parte altra Cremona per la patata e il rafano come richiesto! Il tutto pe 2 ad un prezzo più ke onesto!

Wir wollten am Muttertag gemeinsam ein gutes Stück Fleisch essen und hatten dazu das Blockhaus in der Eberhardstraße ausgewählt! schnell wurde allerdings klar dass hier Massenabfertigung erfolgt! Die Bedienungen verweisen bei Nachfragen zu Karte oder Speisen muffig auf selbige! Das Fleisch war gut aber nur wenig gewürzt! Dafür steht der gewürzpfeffer auf dem Tisch . Die Beilagen sind eher spärlich und die Preise dafür gesalzen! Das geht deutlich besser !

Das Block House ist seit Jahrzehnten immer ein garant für ein gutes Essen wenn man Lust auf Steaks hat. Die Fleischqualität ist konstant auf einem hohen Niveau. Auch die Salate und das typische Knoblauchbrot sind immer wieder ein Genuss. Das es sich um eine große Restaurant Kette handelt stört mich in diesem Fall nicht. Denn so kann man fast in jeder Stadt mit einem Block House immer ein gutes Essen genießen. Auch beim Service wurde ich bisher nicht enttäuscht. Hier sitzen die Abläufe.Block House - Immer wieder gerne.

We landed here as an 'only choice' as we had intended to go somewhere else where they sold gluten-free meals and realised that probably only a steak house would be able to cater for someone with a really bad gluten allergy.Guess what? This restaurant offers a gluten-free menu! We were all flabbergasted. But what a bonus for Stuttgart, where it is not easy to find a good choice in gluten-free food. In fact, there was something for everyone on the menu and it looked like everyone was really enjoying their food. The staff were very friendly and efficient and gave us the impression that nothing was a bother.All in all, we were all very satisfied with the food and the service and we really enjoye...
