The radio was on when we went in and was quite loud. We had to ask for it to be turned down. Expensive for food and drinks. Slow service. Won't be back.

Lovely little cafe! Myself and my daughter went for a late lunch and it was lovely and cosy.... Freezing cold outside so the staff turned on the fires for us and warmed the place up. Food was lovely with a good selection of fresh cakes available. Very reasonably priced and the girls who work there are lovely.

Called on impulse this morning. Ordered breakfast of porridge with honey and tea. I asked could they please add a spoonful of blueberries if they had any. The porridge was perfect (and I’m very particular about my porridge and I was given a lovely bowl of mixed berries alongside as well as honey. Excellent friendly service, very clean cafe and Covid aware staff. An enjoyable and SAFE start to my day. Thank you! Visualizza piatti

terrible service called with my hubby on 23rd sept ordered a breakfast 2 lattes staff brought iut 1 latte she couldnt remeber was it 1 or 2 she took the order my husband was brought us breakfast toast beans and poached egg lol no butter then he was told ohh you need another egg will bring it out when its cooked !! by this time we got all our breakfast items which took about half an hour if not more our coffees were freezing cold she didnt offer any sugars no knives and forks dry toast no butter we had to ask fir every individual item by the time my husband finushed hus breakfast iut came his other egg not good at all just like to have coffees and brekky all together 21.95 for all that think...

I ordered a collection for 2 Avocado toast with bacon sausages poached eggs. The sausages were tasty however the rest of the order was not up-to the standard I paid for. £16) The bacon rashers were overcooked, the eggs were almost fully boiled not runny), and the toast was barely toasted, way too soft not buttered. In addition to that the avocado seemed to have had little strains in it, odd texture. To top it off I contacted them straight back after eating a little bit of the food and the notified the lady who served me initially. After explaining the issues with my order the lady didn’t offer any proper solution and instead told me to ‘toast my bread a little more’, refused to give any refu...

I can se there are many excellent reviews on here about this cafe but we wont be eating here again. We ate here yesterday and although the food was enjoyable I would like to warn customers about the lack of compliance with Covid Rules and basic health and hygiene . The waiting on and kitchen staff failed to wear face masks. Waiting staff served at tables with no face covering at all and we could see that kitchen staff wore either no mask or wore it puled down under the chin leaving nose and mouth uncovered. Most customers failed to wear a mask when moving around the cafe to use the rest room or to go up to the counter to pay. Normally staff in restaurants, pubs and cafes would remind custome...
