"I go to this place every day when I can. The staff are the most pleasant people I have ever met. They treat me like a queen. I couldn't say a bad word about any of them. I am disabled and they go out of...their way to carry my tray to my favourite table if I can get it lol. I am also vegan and they let me keep my dairy free cheese in their fridge for my sub (not many places would do that). I have eaten the same sub for years now and never once have I not enjoyed it. Lately they got vegan pate and it's delicious along with my cheese and loads of great salad stuff. I can't believe that anyone could say anything bad about this place or the staff."

"we've been going to flash for years. it is a popular takeaway chip shop in ballymoney that offers the usual chip shop menu. they can pay by cash or card. we usually go to a chip tea on a Friday or Saturday night. it can. much to do to time, although they can order via the phone for collection or delivery. the staff are usually friendly, although there are a few duur, unfriendly members. until recently it was always quite good with a uniform standard of food. in the last months it has become very expensive (as everywhere), but the main problem we have experienced is our order wrong. this can range from missing ingredients (e.g. no cheese in a cheeseburger) to items that are completely missing, although we have paid for them. they can understand an occasional error, but this has become more and more common. Unfortunately we live several miles away, so it is not realistic to go back to the shop when we discover the missing items at home."

"This restaurant is in need of a thorough cleaning. There was food scattered on the floor near the kebab machine, and it appeared that different foods were mixing together. The large portion sizes were likely due to the fact that most of the food seemed to be frozen for quite some time and then microwaved. It also seemed like they were short-staffed, with only one adult supervising and the other workers appearing too young to be working in the kitchen."

"We visited here on Saturday night 27/7/2019 and unfortunately ours was not a good experience. They had run out of fish, chips garlic fries the only option was French fries. I ordered crispy chilli chicken, it was neither crispy or spicy in fact it was tasteless and very soggy. My partner ordered a mini fry and he said it was very greasy. You go up to the till to get a menu, back up to order and pay(before you get your food) and they bring your good to your table. We ordered our food a cold drink and tea this was handed over straight away but food then took about 20 minutes which meant tea was cold. We had to ask for more hot water. I definitely wouldn't recommend this restaurant nor will I be visiting again. The amenities are also bad for the size, there is one toilet for customers that is for both men and women."

"Visited the bistro this evening with my wife and 11 year old daughter. We arrived at our pre booked time of 7pm and were greeted and shown to our table at which point we were advised we had 1 1/4 hours before we were required to leave.At 7.26pm we placed our food order with our starters of nachos and chicken wings arriving at 7.45pm. Both starters were tasty with no complaints. At 8.15 our main courses arrived after having to ask a waitress. Two sirloin steaks again tasty and cooked as asked, but the kids pasta dish was not eaten as my daughter just simply didn’t like it (personal choice). Chips were overcooked and greasy.As we were eventually eating our main course a young waiter entered the restaurant from outside and upon speaking with another waiter was clearly upset about something and cursed f**k which my daughter clearly heard. At this point I asked to speak with the manger who approached and listened to my complaints as listed above. He was quick to apologise for the bad language and advised that they are currently training up staff but agreed that the language used was unacceptable and offered us our desserts free of charge. He never really offered anything by way of apology for the long wait or overcooked and greasy chips which he agreed with when he saw them.The bill for 2 starters, 2 steaks and a kids meal along with 5 drinks came to £82.96, overpriced I think for an average meal with very slow service.During our time there it was clear another family nearby we’re having similar issues.In short we were very disappointed tonight and will not be returning anytime soon."
