"we enjoyed our first visit in the re vamped abode. eating (big French onion suppenstarter for both of us and shattered fish chips for me and roast chickens for my partner) was very delicious and beautiful presented. there were not many diners and the bar area was empty, so not too much ambiente, but the dinge did not spoil. the employees were very competent and delivered a large service. only that which was not too sharp was a bit cold, it seemed that there was an air cone unit on our table. it was not an important thing, but they could do with making the place something cosier."

A quiet Monday evening dinner alone while on a business trip. I had the 3 course set menu and it was very good.

The food (great French Onion soup starter for us both and battered fish'n'chips for me and roast chicken for my partner) was very tasty and nicely presented. There weren't many diners in and the bar area was empty so not too much ambience but didn't spoil things. Staff were very proficient and delivered great service. Only thing that wasn't too keen on was place was a bit cold it seemed there was an air con unit on above our table. Wasn't a major thing though but they could do with making the place a bit cosier.
